Well, I was at cyanogen 4.0.4, and I wiped it again to reinstall the same rom because it was a issue due to the browser which kept force closing.
After doing so, My phone stays on the green screen. I can get on the bootloader and stuff, I tried wiping it again and It won't work...
I have no idea whats happening.
It's on the green mytouch screen for a while.

WIPE 3 times just to be safe,

DONT PANIC!!! .... Take a deep breath and count to 10
How long is a while?
Some take up to 2min for it to boot, as long as you can get into Recovery your ok, might be a bad download.
Try a older ROM that you know is good.
It's been like 15 mins....
I wiped it , so it doesn't install annything and its taking long..
IF you can get into bootloader and recovery you are not bricked.
Reinstall the ROM.

Ok, I go into hboot and select recovery so I can flash the gingerbread rom I downloaded. It wont load into recovery. I tried to go through Rom Manager too, but it just goes to a black screen with no commands? Anyone have help for this? I have pulled battery and reloaded to hboot, tried rom manager and flashed clockwork from there.
Thanks for any help!

Read post #2400 for to fix your problem with black screen.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=961406&page=240
Thank you!
I will have to do this later. As I am exchanging my Inspire, since I scratched it getting the battery case off. My rep said no worries just bring it and he will give me a new one. So I unrooted it for tonight. And will re root tomorrow.
Mine does the same thing. I just use rom manager to flash, and when it goes to a black screen, just lay the phone down and wait. (may take up to 5 minutes or so) It will eventually restart with the new rom/kernel or whatever. At first i thought it wasn't doing anything, but i later found out it IS flashing, I just cant see it. Restarting/pulling battery during the black screen could result in a brick due to it actually working but you not seeing it, so be careful. Good Luck.

I would try much safer methods to fix your fade to black screen than running Eng S-Off. A bad install using Eng S-Off is the easiest way of bricking your phone, PLUS you just don't need Eng S-Off for anything.
Pulling the battery while in the black screen will niy brick your phone. CWM Recovery is actually running you just can see the screen. How do I know? Run a backup in Rom Manager. It will eventually reboot and you can check if the backup was successfully by doing selecting restore in Rom Manager which will show the backup you just performed.
You can pull the battery when you see the black screen but even easier is just press the power button.
If you want a safe method to correct the black screen just look at my post on the first page if this thread.

I rebooted my phone, and my screen is at the LG screen with a blue line loading... it's been going on for a few minutes.
I have tried pulling the battery but it does the same thing when I put it back in.
Can someone help me with that?
might be time for a factory reset. are you rooted? clockwork mod flashed?
Yes I had rooted the phone, and backed it up, I'm not sure why this isn't rebooting now
can you get into recovery with vol. down and power? just asking if you have. don't do it.
No i cannot, doesn't do anything on my phone
holding vol. down and power for 10 seconds will do a factory reset on a normal phone. if you flashed recovery from rom manager, you might not get to recovery with this button process. and it might factory reset. that's why i asked earlier why you are rooting your phone without reading up and knowing the dangers.
Right, but I did everything that was written down.
I'm doing that process, and I did do a backup recovery. So am I screwed now? Speaking to a t-mobile representative and they're telling me I can exchange it with the buyer's remorse.

you say you're doing that process but don't want to explain what's happening when doing so? how can i help you if i don't know what's going on?
so now, you rooted it, don't know how to fix it, and you're going to return it like that? you are aware the warranty is voided and if they look into it. they can send it back to you as is?
Dude, I'm thanking you for helping me, I'm worried about my phone that's all.
I explained to you that I rooted the phone easily, superoneclick, and then I created a back-up that's all I did, and then when I rebooted my phone, it got stuck on the LG screen with the blue line.

how did you create a backup? WITH WHAT PROGRAM?
With ROM Manager, sorry I'm new to this stuff and am just reading instructions.
and did you install clockwork recovery through rom manager? after you clicked "backup current rom", did it take you to recovery and show you that it's backing up?
Yes it did exactly that!
are you holding vol. down and power at the same time for at least 10 seconds? wait 15 if you have to.
Yes, I did that.
A little trash can looking symbol and the Android thing came up and was loading, and then it went straight back to LG and the blue loading line.
and did you install clockwork recovery through rom manager?
Yes, I'm 100% sure I did

because you flashed cwm through rom manager you are not able to boot to recovery. there is another method that will allow you to do so. search for nvflash
Search for nvflash through my computer? Because I can't get on my phone at all.
I just tried flashing a version of AOKP, and after rebooting, my phone is now stuck in bootloop. The Samsung logo pops up, goes away, the Samsung Galaxy SIII logo pops up, goes away, the Samsung logo pops up again, but recovery booting... is in the top left corner this time. After that the Samsung Galaxy SIII logo pops up again. Then, the Android guy pops up, and the blue bar goes about a quarter of the way through, and goes away. This keeps being repeated. Please help! What do I do? I don't know what I did wrong!
I factory reset it, then wiped the cache, then wiped the dalvik cache and flashed the ROM and Gapps, then rebooted. What do I do now? Should I pull the battery?
Pull battery and get into cwm and try again or flash back to stock.
Have a question, do you have a sister named Audrey? Your last name got my attention.

No prob, maybe make sure you downloaded the right Rom for your phone or try redownloading it in case it was corrupted, seems you did the right steps so idk what could've happened to not boot up. You could try cm10 see if that boots, then go back to aokp, just gotta play sometimes, least you know your backup works.

Also make sure you are using cwm 6.0.1.0 to flash. It is the only key exec recovery available right now. That could also cause a boot loop not using that versions

Did you have the correct recovery and the boot img in the root of your sd card? You have to be setup for kexec to flash and boot any cm10,aosp, aokp Roms since they require custom kernals.
i need some help with my one s ok i was on trickdroid 7.0.0 for U.S user and my wifi waqsnt working so i went back and tried to go back to axiom s and so i put it on the sd card and booted up into recovery and wiped sysem cache and davlik then i installed the axiom rom which went good and then i boot up and it says android is upgrading and that stuff but heres where the problem came about, it got me to the lockscreen but then it say process.acore and process.android.phone have stopped then it keeps popping that up and i dismiss them all but it keeps coming again and again then as i dismiss those it also has one more thing added to it, it says google search has unfortunately stopped so i dismiss that as well but as i keep on dismissing those it keeps popping up then it restarts and starts all over again, it does this before i even get to unlock the phone. please help i currently have it off i dont want to mess it up anymore than what it it i can get into bootloader and recovery but i hvent made a nandroid so im really scared, please help the only rom i have on my sd card is the axiom rom and i even tried to reflash the rom over but the same thing happens it says that then it reboots....please help i dont want to have a bricked phone....... btw in case you need to know some more i was using twrp recovery with hboot on 1.09 but please help:crying:
anybody got anything? im scared andit just scares me big time that it does this, it hardly does this and just wanna figure out how to solve this........feedback woulod be greatly appreciated.
it is not bricked, not even soft brick, don't understand the panic every time, I flash my device about 20 times every day with experimental stuff and nearly 80% cause a bootlop or crashes and sometimes a soft brick..
Just copy new ROM to your sdcard

torxx is saying adb push a rom to phone thru command window. Do all the wipes you said you have done. It is good you wipe System also. Maybe try to reformat sd card, all fat32. Back it up first. I had better luck reformatting thru phone than a windows reformat program. Don't know why as sdformatter always worked on Nexus One. Maybe because of the internal card of the 1s as opposed to removable sdcard.

Ok so now another problem came up, everything works good, my YouTube app plays videos but it stays stuck loading up then it plays sound for a second or two then it reloads the video and does that repeatedly and it keeps going on till I exit the app, plus the camcorder don't work, the camera app works and takes pics fine but I can't record or playback any videos in my gallery, but when I install a video player it plays the videos I can't really play in my gallery, but when I click on camcorder on the camera app it loads up then it just closes it without warning and it keeps doing that until I restart it and then it works for a little bit then it does it again. Srry to bother you guys with such little things like this but I like my phone fully working plus I like to take pics while I record but it keeps fc'ing so I just want to fix that. Any clues?
