I have just received the oneplus one with cyanogem mod 11 installed but I can't find the 4k video option in the video capture page.
How can I activate it?

on the camera app, press the setting button on the right hand side...
then in settings slide to the left to enter the video settings...
the first options is about video quality.

Can somebody help me to know that for 4K video recording on OPO should i use CM11 or CM12 for better recording and what settings and camera should I use from below list to record 4K videos
1. Stock Camera
2. CameraNext Modded or
3. ColorOS Camera wich is recently released on XDA

Stock Camera - works fine on CM11, but you have to use FWVGA to record in 4k UHD on CM12.
Modded camera - more options to tune the picture settings, also renamed FWVGA to 4k UHD (CM12) for convenience. But you might have video artifacts.
Color OS camera - works fine on CM11, don't know about CM12. But you can only record in 2160x3840 as opposed to the other camera which also has 2160x4096

In the stock or modded app, go into settings and scroll right to the video section. Click on "size".
If on the stock app
-scroll down and find " FWVGA" click that and then record as usual
If on modded app
-scroll down and find "4k UHD (CM12)" click on that and record as usual

Hi, I recently discovered that S7 can record video using both cameras at the same time, but there is one problem for me - how to export these video files so video from front camera is on top video from rear camera?
S7 can play this recorded movie this way, but it seems that movie can't be saved.
It might be in the future but one can't record with 2 cameras at the same time.
actually you can - choose Mode in left or right bottom corner in camera app, then go to Download and at the botom you will see Dual Camera addon, then this will happen:

Which model S7 do you have? Was Dual Camera available when you first got the phone or did you have to download from Galaxy Apps?

You have to download it from the Samsung app store. It was already downloaded on my dad's Note 3 but on my S7 I had to download it manually.

Does the phone not record both videos into one video file? I thought it was considered one video and not like the slo-mo, where you had to export it to keep the slo-mo.
Does anyone know you can share a dual camera video on social media? As I can only find a way to post the individual videos but not together in one video.

Hey guy with this method you can have Google pixel like EIS in your recorded videos on OnePlus One or any android device.
Steps :
1. Install the lastest version on Google photos.
2. Find the video you recorded on your device in Google photos.
3. Then open it and click on edit and hit on stabilization and wait for the process to complete then hit save.
4. Done.
In action, see the big difference it makes.
Video gets cropped and resolution goes down.

As far as I know, 4K recording isn't working if you enable camera2 api.

I guess you are on MIUI? After changing it to 4k on custom rom camera stops working.

Works fine on stock miui 9.6.3.
Pro mode works perfectly too.
Am using pixel experience rom 9.0. Front camera works. But rear camera is stuck. And says camera can't access.

Like title say, there is any mod or option for record a video with ultra wide angle and 60fps in 1080p or 4k?
I found the option in GCAM, but the camera stop works when I setup this. Come on, in Xiaomi Mi 9t I could put video settings in this mode!

Gcam is the only way to go as of now. Camera doesn't get stuck on mine though, I just choose 60 fps , record and change it back before switching lenses to auto....else it crashes if i forget.
