Thanks a lot man! Pro mode works with manual focus even on Bootloader locked device. Wanted an app like this since when I bought this device.

WOW! The front facing camera HDR processing is too similiar to GCAM (Only when it works xP) ! I love this cam! Fast and beauty, thanks for sharing

As far as I know, 4K recording isn't working if you enable camera2 api.

Change to 4k recording

Works fine on stock miui 9.6.3.
Pro mode works perfectly too.

Am using pixel experience rom 9.0. Front camera works. But rear camera is stuck. And says camera can't access.

Stock Camera - works fine on CM11, but you have to use FWVGA to record in 4k UHD on CM12.
Modded camera - more options to tune the picture settings, also renamed FWVGA to 4k UHD (CM12) for convenience. But you might have video artifacts.
Color OS camera - works fine on CM11, don't know about CM12. But you can only record in 2160x3840 as opposed to the other camera which also has 2160x4096

In the stock or modded app, go into settings and scroll right to the video section. Click on "size".
If on the stock app
-scroll down and find " FWVGA" click that and then record as usual
If on modded app
-scroll down and find "4k UHD (CM12)" click on that and record as usual

How to record videos with 60fps on Xiaomi mi note3?

I have installed Google camera and it works well, especially taking photos with long exposure at night, really amazing
But i find it sucks when i switch to recording modeAlthough it offers 60fps, the quality of the video is really bad and not 60fps at all. You can easily tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps. And I have tried snapdragon camara, failed too, the same effect as google camera.
So, is there anyone who can enable that feature:highfive:
Thanks in advance

Thank you @unisol107 for your guide.
I still prefer Open Camera on 4k with EIS - it needs to disable Camera2API for bringing this resolution back in Open Camera settings, otherwise you will get all those strange resolutions - including 4000 x 2000 - , but no 3840x2160.

But many users use gcam which needs cam2api enabled. And their isn't EIS in 4k even in open camera, at least not in Indian version i.e note5pro. This guide is useful for very few people who
1- Don't like the 1080p quality.
2- Want 4k like detail as well as EIS.
3- Want a balance between the two.
Thanks for giving time to read this post and share your views.
Use snap camera hdr, it records the best 4k footage with EIS with camera2 api enabled more info here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77237155&postcount=9

I think that's bcoz of different sensors in global and Indian variant. Mine is indian and it doesn't record 4k stabilized. Not in open camera nor snap camera. Snap camera hdr is my favourite app otherwise.

You are a philosopher, I see?
Google cam is working ok
But it stops working while I Switch it to 60 FPS video mode
In the phone specification (7884b Exynos) there was mentioned that it can record upto 60 fps in 1080p but There is no option to enable it in stock cam or gcam(as it stops)...
IS THERE ANY SOLUTION? ☹

I don't have an option to change to 60fps on my gcam
I'm using this Version
What about "Open Camera". Open source camera from the play store. A lot of options and modes. Some of them work, some will not. I managed to record my videos at 30fps. Otherwise will just crash.

The title is "Google Camera"
This is a specific app otherwise known as Gcam
Is there other ways to install google camera or gcam without rooting or installing TWRP?

Video Live HDR on, 60fps.
Eto sample sa 60fps video.

does this work for A20e
Okay. The difference between this and the default camera is insane. Night and day I tell you.
looks bad compared to open cam and 4k camera pro I use the 4k program it can do the same bitrate but looks like the quality it says use one of those instead and it maxes at semi 4k which is 1836
but like I said those programs look way better so 1080 really looks like it with this it doesn't
I cant install it on my phone

Ultra wide angle 60fps

Hi everyone!
Like title say, there is any mod or option for record a video with ultra wide angle and 60fps in 1080p or 4k?
I found the option in GCAM, but the camera stop works when I setup this. Come on, in Xiaomi Mi 9t I could put video settings in this mode!
Thanks in advance.
Regards!
Gcam is the only way to go as of now. Camera doesn't get stuck on mine though, I just choose 60 fps , record and change it back before switching lenses to auto....else it crashes if i forget.

Thank you for your answer. What version of Gcam do you have? Do you have a link for download? I have an Exynos version. Thanks!
