I just want to ask if it is possible to make kernel or rom that supports usb otg
I know that people use the usb hub method with external power but that is not completely OTG
Is it even possible to undervolt the cpu/gpu and provide power to usb??
As I've read before in some threads, it's hardware-related. If it's not, well... Then things changed.
You can use Usb otg with power. And use usb otg helper App. For mount usb stick. I try it, and thats working fine.

This is old and hasn't been supported in over 2 months. I would suggest looking at more recent CM7/Gingerbread-based ROMs found in the Developer section.
Closing as there is no support to be given on this old, outdated ROM.
Hello,
I just updated my Xoom 2 to ICS (at last). I was hoping that it would bring the possibility to read NTFS usb keys but it doesn't.
So I was wondering if there was a (preferably) easy way to make this tablet read NTFS devices, now that it is on ICS and that we can root it.
Thanks.
anyone?
anyone have an answer?

Once rooted, install "Paragon NTFS & HFS+" from Google Play.
Hello there,
Regarding this thread title, at first i wanted to post a reply in this thread
[rom] m4 stx updated 1/30/2014, but hey... i am new here (a complete Noob) and i am not permitted to post to development-related forums, yet.
Yesterday I've flashed My HTC One Mini with M4 STX Rom by cmvienneau (Hey, thanks for the rom cmvienneau) and thank god it was success, my phone running smooth, only one little problem so far, if i connect by USB-OTG cable the phone is behave like if i connect it to PC with usb cable, there is a notice about snyc manager, and charging animation (LoL i can charge my phone using USB-OTG Cable).
Was i doing something wrong while flashing my phone and does anybody have the same problem like mine?
Edit:
It seems my problem is exactly like in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2591509. So this is duplicate,
Update:
After some reading here and there, apparently this is a 4.3 issue.
Anybody, please confirm this.
Thanks.
this is completely normal.lol youre all good
Hello every one. I'm trying to use usb flash on my nexus s, I've found an ADATA model with Micro USB support and wanna use it as external memory.
Does anyone know which kernel has the support for the USB host for jelly bean 4.1.2 on Nexus S? I searched and only found one guide to enable it on 4.0.3 which is old and also inconvenient. Any help would be much appreciated. :good:

Well I did. Did you? That's why I asked the community. Searching is much easier than making a new thread, But it does not work all the time. You could be much more helpful with your answer rather than preaching.

Hi guys,
after months, even years. I open the discussion.
On my Sony D6603 (6.0.1) there is no way to make the OTG function work or anything that connects to USB (all but the PC).
After many tests and discussions with other users who have not been able to help me, I ask you for help.
I tried to change ROM stock, I tried Carbonrom, lineageOS, Resurrectionremix, but nothing, my OTG doesn't work.
I post the images of my smartphone and how they told me it should be, who knows if you can help me.
How they told me it should be. (This is NOT my smartphone)

This is what I find in my D6603 settings

and this is my Stock ROM
