Moto G Telus/Koodo version - unable to flash non-Telus version

Hello,
For the better part of this evening I have been trying to flash Telus Moto G with a different ROM. I even unlocked the bootloader, but to no avail.
I keep getting the following errors when trying to flash bootloader, recovery and system:
hab check failed for boot
hab check failed for recovery
invalid PIV signed system image
(when trying to flash a ROM with three sparsechunks, sparsechunk.0 gives the error, two remaining flash correctly, the phone boots, but the phone is unusable (most of the menus and stuff is just not there)
I have tried GPE, same thing (wouldn't even boot).
Only thing that always works is flashing Telus firmware.
Is there ANY way to bypass this limitation?
Please help me!
same for me bro. I tried US retail and it didnt work. I didnt unlock bootloader so I went back to the telus one.
I dont get why you cant get it in if you unlock bootloader
anyways, I doubt there is a difference between these stock rooms. just saying..
There is a fundamental difference in that Telus version only has a few system languages, and doesn't have the ones I need.
could you root it, install cwm and than install custom rom?
Yes, I've finally managed to flash CWM and Cyanogenmod. Thanks for the tips!

Sweet! Good to hear.
Anyone found a way to install non-Telus stock FW or GPE on a Telus Moto G in the meantime? It appears Moto G losdt CM support, so I would like to get back to stock - but Telus version is not acceptable.

I've tried flashing the US and GB retail with no success. The result of the effort was a loss of radio antenna with no network connection. Flashing the Telus firmware repaired the antenna issue with no errors when flashing all the files. The issue seems to be the bootloader and leaves me wondering if it needs to be unlocked. I'm not desperate to have a retail version that I'm willing to void the warranty by unlocking the bootloader.

[Q] Moto G Radios

The radios of my moto G have seemed to stop working. I have tried to go back and flash the stock firmware to the phone but that doesn't seem to fix the issue. Can anybody help me? As of now I get no service from my carrier or any other carrier. What could be the problem?

nightmare trying to get CM12 to boot on 4g XT1039 - no calls but data works on stock

Hello all
I recently got a Moto G 4G XT1039 in the UK which was on the o2 network, which I've unlocked.
I want to use my Three network simcard, which works fine on stock firmware, BUT the baseband is o2's one, so with my three sim card the data works, but calls doesn't "mobile data not available" so...
Can I flash a stock standard baseband?
I've tried unlocked bootloader and installed CM12 but it get stuck in bootloop at the cm animation, so i've restored to stock... I'm oblivious what to do next?!?
Any help would be appreciated...
I just want calls to work!
Thanks in advance.
Ok i've read I need to intall cm11 first to get it to boot as cm12 just stuck in boot animation but for the life of me cant find any cm11 download links, anyone know any?
Thanks
Hi, please help, moto g xt1039 works fine on 2g calling.. but when select 3g or lte,
it doesn't connect call, always call ended automatically.. any solution please..??
Did you ever update the phone to 5.1 stock ?, if so it should work fine. If however you went straight from KitKat to CM12, that's your problem, the radio firmware needs to be updated. Links to it are in the stock image threads on this board.

[Q] Need Lollipop Bootloader for Moto G 2013 LTE

Does anyone have a flash-able zip or something for the Moto G LTE lollipop boot-loader. Other people's devices are working fine but mine has a weird horizontal line that indicates that my boot-loader isn't compatible with the ROM I'm running (android 5.1). Does the Moto G 2013 (No LTE) bootloader work on the LTE version? If it does work, is there anything it isn't comparable with? I'm willing to use fastboot or adb or whatever it takes to get the bootloader on there.
bump
The Lollipop Bootloader for 4G / LTE Moto G will be included in the Lollipop OTA update arriving shortly. When a factory firmware image is available, that will also include the file motoboot.img - which can be flashed independently via fastboot.
I would strongly advise against flashing the non-LTE Bootloader on your phone. Messing around with Bootloaders is extremely dangerous; many people have have had to learn this the hard way and now have ruined phones.
Will flashing the ota update bootloader on a different version of the moto g lte (us cellular) have any affect

My moto g (xt1032), after flash radio, i cant use the sim.

Hello, I have a big problem with my moto g. 3 months ago, my moto g got a short-circuit, and then, I wasnt able to use a usb or charge my moto g. I did a jumper in the circuit to charge the smartphone, but usb never works. But it was good, because I had TWRP and a custom rom. I was in CM13, but I wanted to try identity crisis 6 but 3G didnt work. In the FAQ, I saw that, if 3g didnt work, I should flash a radio for 5.1. I flashed 1032.3116.98.00R - Retail EU for my XT1032. Then, i cant use a sim because a text appeared where i have to write a code. The text is for unlocked the sim, but my moto g is unlocked. The text is: "SIM network unlock PIN" two options, unlock or dismiss.
I cant use fastboot for the jumper that I did. Do you have any idead to fix this problem?
Sorry for my english, I am spanish. I hope you understand everything and can help me.
I have changed the rom and the radio, but it doesnt work
Bye and Thank you very much.
EDIT: I fix it the problem, I flashed all radios till one radio fix my moto g.
