Where can we find the Lg Update Center so I can update some of the LG apps?
Even the Sprint version has it as an option in the settings, but the ATT version doesn't. I think it's also referred to as the LGSmartWorld.apk.
Thanksl

I rooted my phone and installed cyanogenmod 7. After i installed it alot of my apps were removed like play store, google map and etc...
So i restored my phone to see if i could get my apps back and it did, but now when i check for a software update it says current version is the latest which is not.
G2x
Software version: LG-P999-V10f
Version: 2.2.2
Rooted
Did you install gapps with CM7? If I'm not mistaken, the latest version doesn't have Gmail or maps, they have to be downloaded from play store. Also, check out Titanium Backup to restore your apps after a flash.
As far as the version thing, I don't think you can do an OTA update from that version anymore, you need to use the LG updater I may be wrong on that part, though

Yeah that's what I'm talking about.
When you flash a new ROM, you have to flash gapps, too. It should be linked somewhere near the link for the ROM itself on that particular thread. Gapps will install play store and walk you through the initial set up, etc...

Hello All,
It seems to me like development on 4.4 roms for the ATT LG G2 is pretty low. Is there something that the new 4.4 update from ATT did that caused it to be more difficult to develop? Just curious or did developer support just move on?
I personally like the stock firmware with tweaks. Im running Aeon Flex and I quite like it. It looks like I could do a custom CM version. Is that the best option at this point?
Can I do the stock 4.4, root it, and install xposed and G2 settings?
Just go to the LG g2 forum, most of those are compatible with the D800.

Ah, not the AT&T sub forum. Let me go check it out. Thanks!
Pulled the ATT visual voicemail ODEXED apk from the LG G3 D850 TOT since the app is disabled for the Korean version.
1---->Not flashable zip.
2---->Download, unzip, and either save to SD and install or manually copy the apk and set the permissions or use your favorite apk installer.
I was able to get this to work on CloudyG3 rom for the G2. But only by copying strictly the apk. With the .odex file it kept FCing. Thank you!

You should post this on the att forums not here....

So I should thank @ZigZaGz on the AT&T forum for an app that is here for AT&T...?..nice ?. But thank you for an idea. I will go ahead and create a thread on the AT&T G2 forum for those users running G3 ROMs.

This was posted before there was an ATT G3 forum thread. Feel free to link it if you want.

I have installed this on my T-Mobile LG G3 on AT&T network, confirmed working. Thanks!
I installed it on my G2 running Couldy G3 v2.0, and it freezes whenever I receive a voicemail. The text transcription seems to work fine, but I am unable to play the audio.
I installed it by clicking on the apk. Should I install it the way Swetness did it (by copying the file and setting permissions)?

has this been confirmed to be working on cloudy G3 V2??? unable to play the audio.
That's a good question. I have no evidence or thread that says yes. Perhaps I was the first tester.

I have tried, but it didn't work
You are the man ZigZaGz!!! Randomly found this thread searching for ATT voicemail apps. Just changed from an iPhone 5 to my Nexus 4, this is working great for me except it is dark as hell, can barely make out the text at full brightness but for sure beats dialing 611 every time. Running latest Paranoid rom, installed via Solidexplorer like normal apk's.

Ok, so will this work only if you are on the AT&T network?
I'm actually in the opposite situation. I have an AT&T phone (D850) but I haven't decided which network to go with. I was leaning towards T-Mobile? Will this work with T-mobile or does it need to be on the AT&T network for it to work?

Awesome! I switched my D851 from t-moblecchh to at&t and Visual Voicemail was the only thing I still needed. This apk was just what the doc ordered!
Thanks muchly!
Hi everyone!
I used my unlocked LG G2 with a T-Mobile SIM card for a few days with the stock rom and the radio signal was fine. But then as it looked terrible and the performance was not so good, I decided to install the Cyanogenmod 12 nightly. After a couple hours, I realized the gps and gyroscope sensors wouldn't work, something widely known about this cell phone. I found out that flashing a different baseband would fix it, and after I did that the sensors started working again, but the signal was always intermittent and my 3g would suck.
Then I tried to flash the original baseband again because I'd rather not to rotate it than have a bad connection, however, it didn't work: the sensors don't work and the signal is still terrible.
I ran an app called Network Signal on my friend's cell phone, which is the same as mine with the stock rom. There's a tab called SERVICE'S ADVANCED that says OK on his and NO SERVICE on mine.
Does anyone have any solution or advice? Attached is my information on baseband and rom.
Thank you!!!

The problem is that you didn't know that Lollipop ROMs need the modem from JB 10C or 10O. Your modem is the KK version from 20C.
As for the signal I'm not sure what to suggest because the performance is bad in that regard. Sometimes it will drop to 2G in areas with strong LTE or Hspa+. I'm also T-mobile.

I tried installing those but they didn't work either. Would you have the links? Maybe I downloaded the wrong ones.
Also, are you using lollipop on your g2 right now?

This is the list I found: downloads. codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G2/G2_modems (delete the space between downloads. and codefi)
I tried the 10D and 10O, but there's no 10C for the D800.

Sorry, forgot my charger at home & couldn't respond back. Anyway, it's 10D and not 10C, I keep getting all the modems mixed up. I actually reverted back to JB because I'm giving the phone to someone that doesn't like LP. Before I had vanir (LP) with the JB modem 10O.

If the JB & KK modems don't fix your issue, then something is wrong with your G2, or those features are currently broken in that CM12 nightly. One thing you could try is returning to stock, then root after going back to the official ATT firmware. Trying another ROM besides cm would be s good idea too.
Would you mind running this app called Network Signal and sending me a screenshot? I want to compare yours to mine. You just have to swipe left to open the menu and then click Signal Check:

See, that's my problem. The textbox "Service Advanced" says FAIL and I think that's due to wrong modem. I'll try to go back to stock and try something else. You're using the baseband that ends with 84, right?
