Run adobe flash on kitkat - Sony Xperia L

Hello
This thread is for users who want to use adobe flash on kitkat 4.4 and beyond. I have personally tested this on 4.4.4 on my nexus devices and Xperia L. As you know, the support for flash has long been disconnected so this is the ONLY way to run flash now!
Basically this hack was achieved by an xda member "surviveland"; so All credits to him. Lately he has been not active and his links have been removed so I am posting it here again for members to see it.
Prerequisites :
Dolphin Browser
Hacked flash player.
Once you have installed dolphin and hacked flash player; make sure you enable adobe flash in dolphin browser's settings in web content. This would NOT work on firefox as firefox doesnot allow custom/hacked flash.
Any queries or question would be welcomed!
Download HERE
To check if you installed flash properly, visit this website to check

A user confirmed UC Browser HD works too instead of dolphin

Normal

Is there any other browser that you'd recommend (other than Dolphin) that supports flash?

Dolphin is in my knowledge the only browser that supports forked adobe flash.
And whenever I need flash; I just open dolphin for that purpose only !
Browsers I use :
Chrome (preferred on tab but used on xperia as well)
Opera Classic (preferred on xperia L)
Opera (only tab)
Dolphin (only flash pages)
In my opinion , opera/chrome/dolphin/Firefox are most effective browsers with quick updates and battery optimisations.
While opera classic is best for saving a lot of data as it compresses data more than other browsers.

[APP] flash player for cm10

this is flash player for cm10 ,
Thanks for your contribution .
I personally would be very wary of downloading this. you guys might want to read the article I've linked below, first! BTW if you want flash player go to Adobe's website and get it from them. It's still available, so there is no reason to download a random apk. http://phandroid.com/2012/08/25/wat...layer-installers-download-from-adobe-instead/

[Browser] [Problem] [Opera Mini 7.x.x] on [android 4.3] [android 4.3.1] [cm10.2]

I am tired of distorted viewing opera mini 7.x.x web pages on any android 4.3/4.3.1 based custom rom
opera mini always displays web pages/any pages in distorted form
I tried on almost all roms slimbean, corbon, mokee, vanir, cm10.2 weekly and cm10.2 beta2....opera mini deliver distorted webpage layout, only 1 or 2 words in a single line.
Few Screenshots I am posting below
Is any solution of it or anyone who not getting such pages or any solution?

There is way through which this distortion will not happen..
First check in which rom you are not facing any distorted view..
Take the backup of the opera mini using titanium backup..
Now restore the opera mini through titanium backup in new rom in which you are facing distorted view..
While Restore Select app+data..

Thank U! I'll try titanium later, it seems very powerful
May be the problem is due to font(not sure). I changed the font on cm10 once and had the same issue. I don't remember exactly but I saw once that opera mini 7.2 works fine. Never tried personally, though. Good luck

Webview snapdragon system apk based on code aurora

This is a Webview System APK (version M54) which is based on Code Aurora optimised for Qualcomm devices. This is not Chromium Browser, which I also posted in this forum, but rather a System apk that enables your other apps to display HTML pages.
Modifications:
1. Google host detection disabled
2. Sandbox enabled
3. Gaia disabled
4. GCM disabled
5. Crash reporter disabled
De-Google changes cherry-picked from here: https://github.com/Eloston/ungoogled...ogled-chromium
Download: http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=22166
Uninstall your other webview apk and install the new one as a regular app
THE APP IS FOR ARM DEVICES ONLY

You need to uninstall/delete native webview.apk that comes with the rom. It should be in /system/webview. You need root to do that...

I konw that and before install I already did what you said. But I got "Application not Installed". I noticed the icons of webview.apk form you and native one are different.Your version is something like a ball while my native one is a gear.

If you ever updated Webview from Googleplay, then you have a separate app in data. Go to Settings/App and see if a webview app is listed. If yes, you have to delete it...
is this WebView limited to ARM or can be used in ARM64, too?
Doesn't work on ARM64. I verified the sad truth after disabling and "uninstalling" Webview using Titanium. It was powerful placebo.

I ended up using Google's WebView because of the same thing happened to you
Tried deleting the apks, but still end up with "Application not Installed"
Installed and it works pretty good. My phone (Xperia honami) works pretty faster and everything is smooth but Internet browsers are not working anymore. I tried naked browser, opera, maxthon, armorfy, Firefox etx. They all crashes at start up. I had to revert to the original webview. Can you fix this please?
Thanks dev .. i use this in xiaomi mi4 LTE, seems to look faster while surfing the internet. I use the application via browser and uc browser. All look good..
Is there an updated version?

Chromium Browser [Updated weekly]

Hello, here's the open source Chromium web browser. Can't find it in the play store due to it having nightly updates/builds. I will try my best to give a weekly updated build. Thanks and enjoy. Don't forget to hit the thanks[emoji106] button.
BIG THANKS TO @andDevW FOR THE APP THAT COMPILES IT FROM THE SOURCE AND TURNS IT INTO AN APK.
Chromium.apk 5/5/18 Download Link
Thanks for the shout-out.
Here's the direct link to my latest release APK: https://anddevw.com/assets/apk/getchromium/app-release.apk
The app is entirely open source so you can verify everything that it does and if you have any questions or issues, you can get help here.
Building Chromium from source requires more memory (8GB) than any current production Android device has, so I went with downloading the official Chromium Team release from Google's repository and unpacking and installing it. You can do the exact same process manually (if you have a good file manager like Amaze) by downloading the official latest build of Chromium for Android here https://download-chromium.appspot.com/dl/Android?type=snapshots, unzipping it and installing ChromePublic.apk.
I designed getChromium with developers and Debian users in mind, so updating is a deliberate user-initiated process, generally followed by revisiting chrome://flags and enabling new experimental features that weren't available in the previous build. There's no point in automating that, and anyone unfamiliar with this type of manual updating and enabling flags would probably be better served by *Google's Chrome Canary.
*For the record, Google released Chrome Canary for Android 6 months after I released getChromium.
can you please take a look at this Brave Browser issue especially the commit that fixes it , https://github.com/brave/browser-android-tabs/issues/167
it's literally identical to the one that affects Bromite where it request permissions on every boot up.
For those of you who have MyAndroidTools app on your phone, 1)open it 2)click on Services 3) click Third Party 4) Click Bromite 5) Disable ChromeBrowserSyncAdaptiveService and ChromeGcmListenerService 6)open your terminal emulator and type Reboot so as to skip the shutdown animation.
Enjoy without the nag for account permission ??

I think you can activate that by going to Chrome://flags and enabling Chrome home.
