Hi everyone!
I have a question for lucky OnePlus One owners.
How fast is memory in your 64gb One?
You can use Androbench (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.andromeda.androbench2) or any other app te mesure this.
Here you are.

Hello everyone,
I have a question about ram expander software - it is said there can be boost in performance if I use it. Just wondering is it worth it? I installed latest Katkiss based on Android 4.3 on my tf101 and it is doing pretty well so far. Maybe someone already has experience.
Thanks!

Hmmm - I think Ram Expansion on Android is just a case of a swap-file being created on your SD card, so factors such as the speed of your SD card will influence how well it works.
There is a discussion on XDA about a Ram Expansion App - mightn't be the same as yours though - here

Thanks for the link, I see there are different opinions regarding the topic but no consensus Looks like I have to check it by myself and then decide. Will see what happens if I use 10 class SD card for that.
Hi Forum !
I am thinking of buying the Sandisk Extreme Pro MicroSDHC 16GB for my HTC Sensation. Here is the link:
http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Micro...1&keywords=sandisk+extreme+pro+microsdhc+16gb
Is it worth it ? On Sandisks website it says that it can go up to 95Mb/s... but really class 10 can only go up to 25 mb/s, is that true ? Will it make any difference in speed on my HTC Sensation ? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
I recently purchased the same card and speed test were same as on the previous card...

Do you like that card?
Whats the speed if you run the benchmark-app: "A1 SD Bench"?
I just tested my Sandisk Ultra 16gb with the RAW option of camera, well while it takes only 3 seconds to save using internal memory, with the MicroSD Sandisk Ultra it takes 6 to 9 seconds!!!
The writing speed is about 10-15mb/s with the Ultra.
I was going to buy a 64gb card Ultra but when I saw how slow it works with the RAW (and perhaps 4K recording) I think it will be better to buy a 32GB Samsung Pro that would give 75 to 80mb/s .
What do you think?
Anyone using a Sandisk Extreme or Samsung Pro MicroSD on their M9?

I have Samsung pro 64GB, Raw 1sec, 4K no problem at all, real speed in write going till 74, read 82
I have the SanDisk Extreme Pro 64GB just give me Read @ 90.56MB/s @ Write @ 81.18MB/s from the phone and speeds were similar using USB 3.0 to test the card on my PC before using it in the phone. I used A1 SD Bench from the play store to test it from the phone.
I haven't paid attention to the RAW files yet.
Wow nice!
Looks like it's faster than the internal memory.
I will get a 32gb Pro then
Well the speed I got for the internal memory was 215MB/s for read and 111MB/s for write.

A1 SD Bench says Read is 44MB/s Write is 42 MB/s on my Sandisk Extreme 64GB.
I think I have a 64GB Samsung Evo in my RaspberryPi2, I'll test that later.

Perhaps a corrupted card?
My Sandisk was supposed to be 12mb/s but the best it can get is 5mb/s write!!!
Defective cards are numerous
I think I will get a Samsung Evo 64GB
Go with 64gb Sandisk Extreme. Speeds are 95 mb/s read and 90mb/s write.
Bought a PNY Turbo 64gb but I wont get it before the 8th, it should have the speed as the Extreme

hi, dear all
I am a man who is interested in Android phones, but no matter of the brand they are, i found that they all describe the RAM and ROM. Mostly, they are 4G RAM, 64G ROM, so my question is if 3G RAM,32G ROM, then which means that 4G RAM and 64G ROM is much better than the former one?
it will be very thankful, if someone can tell me in details

Hi,
Welcome to XDA!
ROM: Read Only Memory
RAM: Random Access Memory
ROM: Storage. It's where you store all your data like music, photos, videos, games, movies, documents etc. It's often known as Internal Storage.
RAM: It's only accessible by the phone. The more RAM you have, the faster your device should be. It's often called "Memory".
A device with 64GB ROM and 4GB RAM should be faster than a device with 32GB ROM and 3GB RAM.
Hello, I've recently wanted to increase my storage capacity on my Honor 8, but I keep seeing articles saying the phone only supports 128Gb and Below.
Does anyone have a 256Gb Card installed? Is it working?

I have been using 256gb cards since I bought the phone. They have worked on all versions of Android for this phone.

I'll look more into it! Thanks for the insight
