xposed framework - T-Mobile LG G2

I just rooted my g2. it came with kit Kat right out the box. been reading up on xposed and seems really cool. just looking for people's opinions on this. don't know if I should do it or not. keep in mind I want to keep this Rom stock. thanks

I run stock xposed and I love it. G2 tweakbox is really all you need on here.

No problems for me and you can always uninstall from the system through the xposed app then uninstall the modules if you want full stock again.

thanks for the advice. I have to say this is awesome!

Works just fine for me. . .
Running a stripped down version of 9.16.9 DST with just the radio from the latest OTA.
Xposed 2.1.4
Using the Master Key dual fix and Android Tuner modules.
Most parts of FemBlack's status bar module also worked without a problem.
Working great for me, just followed the installation procedure.
Xprivacy works great.

No lag at all for me on my deodexed Retail EU ROM.
Latest Xposed Framework installed, rebooted, Xprivacy installed from market, rebooted in recovery, applied 4.1_fix.
Work like a charm.

No lag here.
Does the XPOSED Installer require an unlocked bootloader. Since the exploit was fixed thats a problem for everyone who wants this :/
EDIT: It does work, I ran some test and everything pulls in fine. Also it should since it dosent modify behind the scenes just the front you see.
Can't get it to work on my xt925.
Tried lot of stuff, but nothing worked.
I'm rooted, unlocked and on Stock Rom.
Am i doing anything wrong or is there any way to get it working on odexed Stock Rom?
I havent tried it on my xt926, but works on my s3, tf700t and note 2. It really just depends on the mod. Some are made just for samsung, htc, etc... and then there are a few for any phone.
Some mods work on cm10.1, just trial and error

The status of 4.4 Roms. What is the situation?

Hello All,
It seems to me like development on 4.4 roms for the ATT LG G2 is pretty low. Is there something that the new 4.4 update from ATT did that caused it to be more difficult to develop? Just curious or did developer support just move on?
I personally like the stock firmware with tweaks. Im running Aeon Flex and I quite like it. It looks like I could do a custom CM version. Is that the best option at this point?
Can I do the stock 4.4, root it, and install xposed and G2 settings?
Just go to the LG g2 forum, most of those are compatible with the D800.

As far as I know there is no way to root and not trip knox. Sprint version does not have download booster enabled so have to root in order to flash the mod to enable.
See the post HERE and also check the link at the bottom of the post for a list of available mods (incl. download booster)
Im rooted, I havent flashed a rom yet...do I need to be on a custom rom to flash the download booster?

I think try the 2.1 odexed stock version. Just keep in mind that flashing this mod can break things such as hotspot mod, etc. Might read through that thread to see what issues others have run into.
Custom Rom and Download Booster for Sprint GS5
I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to get a fully functional Custom Rom for my Sprint GS5 and a download booster mod? Thank you.

Thank you for the info, but I did not see the download booster listed on the ROM info. As long as the camera, sms, data, and phone calls work I'm good. But, I would really like to have the download booster as well.

Yes, I just saw that. I was surprised though that it was not listed in the bullet points further in the page since it was a key feature that was removed. Thank you for the link.

I rooted my device a while ago, but I do not have a recovery like TWRP installed. Can I simply use a new root and unlocker combo?

You can simply flash a recovery through Odin. Philz is what I recommend.

Just installed the ROM, looks good, but how do I utilize the DL Booster?

Why would I want to root kitkat?

I had mytouch slide 4g for like 3yrs,and was ALWAYS flashing new roms. But my g2 seems to do everything I want it to (Aside from titanium backup, but the play store reinstalls everything, and most apps I use put data in the cloud). So, what's the big benefits of rooting kitkat?

[Q] Installing Xposed Framework - with Wanam Xposed.

I'd like to try out Xposed Framework with Wanam Xposed.
I'm currently on NE1 -stock/official - towelrooted /SuperSU & busybox. I've been checking out the XDA forums, and trying to keep up on some of the different topics for info. Now I've just reached the fork in the road, trying to decide which method would be best for maintaining performance and having the least amount of bugs (if any). So my question is, a) do I just install the Xposed framework and Wanam xposed or b) should I install safestrap - create a ROM slot with Xposed framework - Wanam Xposed?
Any suggestions
will be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

You should just install the Xposed framework and Wanam xposed module if you're locked BL and rooted. No need for safestrap.

Just be aware Wanam does cause issues for some users. I've had to uninstall it more times than I've had to install it. I eventually gave up with it. And some Xposed modules may cause issues with installed apps. Just be aware

Yes my BL is locked. I was leaning towards that direction for the fact it would be easier, thanks for confirming that.
I can always uninstall if it doesn't work out.

Thanks for the info.
My device has always been stock until recently. I decided to try out modding after reading some of the different posts, that this is probably the last update for these phones, with the exception of some small updates.
I saw the video on Wanam Xposed, and how it works well for TW, thought to give something different a try.
Thanks again, this was my first post.
