Just flash the FXZ and start over. That's the only option at this point.

[Q] [FIXED] HELP!!!! Stuck on ASUS logo after OTA update

Hi guys!!!
Need your expert help ASAP!
I was performing system updates via OTA on my TF300T (bootloader locked, stock ROM, rooted). Originally was on JRO03C.WW_epad-10.4.2.18-20121122, updated to JRO03C.WW_epad-10.4.2.20-20121228, then received another notification for system update - it downloaded ok, started the update process but when it eventually rebooted my tab was stuck on ASUS logo (i left it there for about 20 minutes, just in case)
If I reboot using vol-down+pwr I get the following text:
Android cardhu-user bootloader <100 e> released by "WW_epad-10.6.1.15.3-20130416" A03
Key driver not found.. Booting 05
Starting Fastboot USB download protocol
I then get "RCK", "Android" and "Wipe data" icons.
Choosing RCK I get
Booting recovery kernel image
Signature match
it starts the update process momentarily but then it displays android with red triangle with exclamation mark in it...
Choosing "Android" I get
Cold-booting Linux
Signature match.
and nothing else happens...
haven't tried "wipe data" option...
Please help!!!!! How do I revive my tab???
I'm noob at this
Thanks in advance!

Wipe data. It should fix after a bad update which is what this sounds like. When I flashed CyanogenMod I couldn't boot I was stuck at boot logo but the data wipe fixed me. It will delete everything so I hope you don't have anything that can't be replaced but that's better than a non working device. if it still does not work contact support. Did you mod it in any way prior to the update other than rooting? Sometimes even an OTA on a device that was just rooted can break something. if you get it working again make sure to unroot before an update.

Yeah, I guess I'll have to try the data wipe option - I think I should be able to replace everything that will be wiped.
No mods other than root. Before I started with updates I temporarily unrooted and saved root using Voodoo OTA... Haven't had any issues with OTA updates in the past...
data wipe didn't help...
any other options??
UPDATE:
All fixed now. Downloaded latest update file from Asus website and extracted, then copied extracted zip file to root of microSD card. Powered up TF300 with vol-down + pwr and selected RCK. Update completed successfully.
Probably didn't need to do data wipe...

[Q] Razor HD XT925 won't boot please help

My brother has the Razor HD XT925 and he tried to install Beats Audio and now his phone is all messed up. It just loads up and says "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped" Then it gives you an option to start and just reboots the phone and does the same thing again.
Tried to do the facoty reset from the bootloader menu but it didn't work
The phone was already rooted so we went and unlocked the bootloader on the motorola website and it now says its unlocked so i tried to install ClockworkMod Recovery from fastboot and it seemed to work but when i reboot into the bootloader menu and select recovery i get a little picture of a android robot on its back with ! mark above him for about 5 min then the phone reboots and its back to the Unfortunately, System UI has stopped again.
So i tired to install TWRP Recovery and it looked to install fine but but when i reboot into the bootloader menu and select recovery i get the same little picture of a android robot on its back with ! mark above him for about 5 min then the phone reboots and its back to the Unfortunately, System UI has stopped again.
I don't know what to do now, can anyone help me or is the phone toast ?

find the stock file for your area here http://sbf.droid-developers.org/ and use rsd to flash it back to stock. use search or google to find a tutorial if you need it.
Thanks so much that worked.
Also, after you flash a recovery, you need to immediately reboot back into recovery so the script completes. If you don't boot back into recovery and reboot the OS, the stock recovery will re-install itself.

[Q] Unable to install custom rom and unable to boot into cwm mode

Well, I have a GT N7000, rooted, and with stock recovery (the one having something like <3e> in it) and using 4.1.
I wanted to install 4.4, so I went through the suggested procedure:
A. To get the CWM recovery:
1. Installed Rom Manager.
2. And lo! It showed that I was already having a CWM & TWRP in it!
3. Did the procedure to update the recovery, flashed it to 6.0.4.3(It still shows that touch is available, but can’t install it as it asks for some in app purchase and all).
Now this is where the problem is. When I select Reboot into recovery, it simply switches off, then shows the green android guy with a gear icon in his back, and goes dark. No effect on any key press and yeah, I waited for something like 10 mins and did all kind of patience stuff. And then when I try to update the recovery manually by placing it in sd card and by selecting install update from external recovery, it showed me a tmp/sideload/package.zip (status 7) error. Kindly help me as I badly want to install kitkat and I’ve downloaded all the things for my phone only.
***The rom manager app says that my current rom is not set to receive OTA updates.
Exactly my problem as well...

[Q] Loop on 4.4.3 upgrade - problems - HELP please

I did a factory reload of a rooted phone with CWM.
Now for the CWM issue the Moto G loaded OK and then said there was an update for android to fix some bugs. This was 4.4.3. I loaded it and it gets half way and it then says
"Signature verification fail"
at the bottom of the screen and
" Install Untrusted Package"
The options are yes, no or go back
at the top....
whichever one I try it then tries to boot shows the Android / Motorola screen and starts up gets a txt message for 2-3 seconds... it then goes back to Android CWM recovery with the same options as above and repeats the process. again and again and again. No function keys will stop this cycle which just repeats again. This continues until the battery dies.
any ideas ? how can I override this action in CWM v6.0.4.6 and force it to do a factory reload ? any help or advice much appreciated.
The following thread had a similar problem and was fixed... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53404637

"If you can still power your phone, can you still access the boot loader? If so, I would suggest using adb from a computer to flash Phillz recovery. CWM always gave me a lot of random errors when flashing items. You could use PhillZ to flash the stock ROM for 4.4.2. After that, just follow the same process I did. Download the update zip via the OTA download when it prompts you. Once it's finished, DON'T boot back into Android. Boot into Phillz recovery from the boot loader, move the zip out of the cache and onto sdcard or your computer, and then flash it either straight from the phone or by sideloading it from your computer. Then you'll have a working version of vanilla 4.4.3, and you can flash over a custom ROM in the future if you so choose."
unfortunately I can't get into bootloader. I can connect usb and it makes no difference. therefore adb commands dont work. it just goes straight into screen described with those three options. I'm hoping that there is an override action in CWM which isn't power and volume down which do nothing.
If not how can I force it into bootloader instead please ? any suggestions appreciated.

[Q] Need Help MB865, Custom ROM problem

Hi friends,
After the installation of Custom ROM (CyanogenMod), an error started appearing at top bar on every boot saying "Customer ID error, contact the provider. Boot to Suspended/TCMD"... I'm 100 sure that I've made backUp of CID during ROM installation via BMM.
It kept going for many days and suddenly one day my Atrix2 went on Stock ROM automatically while booting which was missing & hence Robotic Android sign with Caution appeared on screen. I, then, restarted my phone but only white screen appeared showing nothing :[email protected]
Now my phone will boot, but only as far as the Motorola splash screen, then it has only white screen for one or half minute and then again reboot automatically, and this circle will continue....
I tried Flash Boot using RSD_Lite while going to AP FastBoot but it didn't detect my phone, although I've installed all the necessary drivers for my phone (I think that's might because of missing IMEI).
Is there any expert who can help me to bring my phone back???
You need reboot via BP tools to boot your phone. Then you'll need root it, then progrm reboot your phone - screen turns black - hold both vol buttons to enter bootmenu when choose with vol down button bp tools and enter it with power button. A
When install bmm and reboot your phone. Restore your cid via bmm

Thanx Bro, everything went good but after rooting my Atrix2, when I go to bmm recovery during boot and select "Restore CID" my sd card is opened but I am unable to find the Backup file of CID.
For further investigations I selected BACKUP CID, and i got message that FILE ALREADY EXIST.
It means my CID file is present somewhere but i'm unable to find it. The path shown is as ----> ( Path : /ext )
Figured it out!
Thanks Guyz for your support, I figured the problem out...
BMM made a folder as "ClockWorkMod" on sd card where it placed the .img file of CID and all back-ups.
