Hello,
I ripped some nice Watch_Dogs sounds to customize my phone and share them here.
The ZIP contains :
LG UI sounds (PowerOn, PowerOff, Lock, Unlock, CableConnect, LowBattery, FullBattery, CameraClick, VideoRecord and EmailSent)
6 Notifications sounds and 3 Ringtones for you to choose from
Installation Instructions :
- Flash the ZIP under recovery (Warning : this will overwrite system files, so nandroid first !)
- Tadaaa ! You've got Aiden Pearce's phone
Uninstall Instructions :
- Flash the Restore Stock ZIP under recovery (This will restore original LG Sounds in the ui directory and will keep bonus Watch_Dogs notifications and ringtones)
Thanks to XxZombiePikachu for packaging the whole thing. He also packaged a Watch Dogs Bootanimation, avalaible in Post #23.
hey loving the watch dogs sounds and here is a flashable zip if you want to change anything in the updater_script like my name/etc use notepad++ or let me know and I can change it

Well if the rom you are on uses same folder structure then it should have at least added the ringtones and notification sounds
You can check using a root browser system/media/audio and there should be four folders

So if there is no audio on boot it won't add it? Or is there a way to add it? I'm not too familiar with this stuff.
Also I have a boot animation for watch dogs I can upload if you guys want. I forked it from a thread from some other phone.

Thanks Pika !
About the bootanimation :
I also found one, and tweaked it : I had to shorten it because the G2 boots really fast !
The G2 plays the PowerOn.ogg sound during bootanimation
I will upload it ASAP so we can include it in the package.
Cheers
Is the mod works on CloudyG3???

It should
The notifications and ringtones go to standard system folders.
As for the UI part, you can check if the folder exists in the G3 ROM : /system/media/audio/ui

EI22 - 1x/3g - CDMA / EVDO status icon fix
Fixes sprint's 3g icon lie.
Download http://senseisimple.com/downloads/MOD-EI22-1x3g-Fix.zip
Instructions
- Flash this in Clockwork mod (deodexed SystemUI.apk) - wipes dalvik cache, so may take a moment to boot
Once you flash, to check the action,
1 - Get your MSL - can be found by typing getprop ril.MSL in Terminal Emulator
2 - Dial ##DEBUG# (##33284#) on your phone, Enter your MSL
3 - Scroll to "Others" at the bottom of the list.
4 - Choose HDR/1X Selection
5 - Change from Hybrid Mode to CDMA Only Mode. This puts your phone in 1X only mode.
6 - Press OK, wait 30 seconds, you should see joy - see the 1x icon switch.
7 - Repeat steps 4-6, and set Hybrid Mode to switch back - VERY IMPORTANT.

This may not be as easy as it sounds for many users. All theme modifications will likely contain framework.jar, for example, but the differences between the common files may be more difficult to find.

I is indeed SystemUI so it will presumably revert some icons and details back to stock appearance. hopefully everyone integrates the fix into their rom because it's annoying to not know
All I did was replace the "classes.dex" file in this SystemUI.apk with the one already on my phone...it's the only change to the apk AFAIK. That way you keep all of your themed customizations, unless your theme also makes some type of change to the dex file.
Worked for me, but YMMV.

I just installed this on my phone and it is not working as i expected.
It changed the way the icons look (I'm assuming stock gingerbread). That it self really isnt a big deal.
My problem is that it now switches randomly between different apperence icons. Sometimes its the big sprint 3G icon, and others its the small stock gingerbread 3G icon.
How can i uninstall this?

Custom Shutdown QMG File Animations With Sound!
by evil1art
I got tired of not seeing any custom shutdown QMG animations for the s3 or any newer Samsung at all!
So I took matters into my own hands! (evil style)
-These will work on any Samsung with 720x1280 res-
This is not a request page!
I will update with new animations as time permits
Do not redistribute without my permission!
Devs wanting to use them in your roms just shoot me a pm
These QMG files take alot of time and effort to make right, so please be patient!
I did not create the images just resized and converted them and added some evil touches!
Flash these like any other Mod or Theme etc.
Download Animation
Reboot into Recovery
Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache
Flash Zip
Reboot & Enjoy!

It only occupies 3/4 of my screen... any idea? Is it a problem with my custom animation file or something to do with some settings...
Cheers!

EDIT: Looks looks none of them are working in Fullscreen... I did download few from web and none of them seems to work correctly...

tested on my leaked note 2 4.3 and it worked great! thanks OP!
Tested on Galaxy S4 (I9505), it works and currently this is the only bootanimation binary got it working on newer 4.3 base.
Only hiccup though if I use boot animation prepared for S4 it runs in a smaller window, basically thinking it is running in a tablet mode.
Since it is a binary we may not be able to mod the file, let me know any ideas.
Even with the current state I'm glad able to get bootanimation.zip files working for 4.3 S4 now.
Thanks

You tried it with Zip Themer? Did you update edify? Let me know if you are still stuck.
It should work just fine. I have installed many different lockrings/glowdots/etc and so far they have all worked. I have worked with matthew0776 (the guy who basically runs the N5 Candyshop thread) and created quite a handful of lockrings. You will have to be unlocked, rooted, and have a custom recovery installed (or I suppose you could use fastboot to flash). If you guys have any questions just post over there (or on this thread) and one of us can help. Feel free to send me a PM if you get really stuck. Just follow the instruction video in the N5 Candyshop OP thread and you should be good to go. Anyone running 4.4+ should be able to flash any of the N5 mods becuase they use the same framework. I have a Moto X Dev Ed and yesterday I was running 4.4 and had a custom lock ring and today I'm running 4.4.2 and I have a different custom lock ring.

Falsifying? I'm not sure what you mean by that. After you update edify (you only have to do this once unless you get a new ROM) and then the "Build it!" step, you have to go into recovery and flash the "update" zip which Zip Themer created. The update zip is essentially the system UI file from your device, but re-compiled with the images from the mod zip. If you are on 4.4+ any mod from the N5 thread should work.
Flashed.... auto correct. Did all those steps. I've used zipthemer before so I was familiar with the process.

Thank you sir! I just wanted to make a stockish rom for our device with of course edge features and a few extras! And let the user mod it out the way they want to!
Well once I manage to get recompiling working and figured out I'll be glad to mod this to my liking but I'm still learning and can't seem to figure out why I can't recompile :/

Can I ask how you got floating messages to work? I've been trying to a while now. I found the correct updated airmessage and proxy apk's from s6 stuff and I know the csc entries but haven't found the correct secmms apk that won't crash. I'm downloading your rom now and am going to tinker with it some but wanted to see if you knew what needed to be edited in the mms apk after decompile or if not at all. Just trying to learn some more myself and thanks for putting this together I always need a solid base to fall back on.

What are you using to decompile/recompile? I use BDFreak's_2.0.2 APK Tool. He's got all the stuff you need inside and its a gui instead of the ol command line int. I did a lot of cool stuff on my note 3 with systemUI animations but haven't done anything yet on 5.1.1. Gonna try some stuff this weekend though.

I used tickle my android had a nice gui and everything else as well problem is in most steps I've ready I'm not sure if I need to install res-framework or the systemUI to my computer so I could actually recompile at the end! I Even tested recompiling something I had not edited period just decompiled so I could recompile and still no go maybe if I try that tool it may work? Not sure I'll give it a go in a few though and see what happens! If that fails then I guess it's time to make a thread and ask the pros ? since my Dumbass can't seem to get it lol

Yea man, the tool I use goes install frameworks, res and TouchWiz, then install systemui, then decompile, edit, them recompile. Also remember to move the original meta inf and android manifest to the new one before recompile.
I'll try some settings and system ui tweaks for this rom this weekend and share anything worth sharing.
