Hi guys, i recently gave my phone for service and seem to have accidentally missplaced my back battery cover (door?) in the process. If anyone is in possesion of a piece that they do not require and would be willing to sell please do respond and kindly quote your price.
Thank you

Hey guys,
Water damaged my Captivate a couple months back. Sent it to a repair guy and he was unable to get it working. I think given the right parts and some help from TechRepublic's tear down i might be able to do a better job myself. If anybody has a spare speaker for the Captivate it would help a lot. I cannot afford to buy an off contract device at this time. Please let me know if you have that part, or any other spare parts, as well as any advice on this issue. Cheers.
Hello,
Most of the threads here are about replacement screen in US. I live in Switzerland and have suffered the broken screen from less than 1 feet off the ground :crying:
Can anyone advise me on where I could possibly get my screen replaced? Or should I just buy a screen off the bay and do it myself? Or is the screen + frame option better for DIY repair?
Thank you for your time and help.
Cheers

I suppose if you want to keep warranty in tact, you'd send it to LG to replace, or one of their service centres. Probably worth contacting them and asking for advice initially.

That was my thought initially. Unfortunately, Switzerland doesn't have LG service for Nexus 5.

I would still contact them for advice initially. You must have warranty, so therefore they must be able to advice how to replace the screen without voiding it, surely?

hello, i recently cracked my z3's screen digitizer, and i intend to replace the whole screen assembly, since replacing the digitizer only sounds like an extremely hard task.
i have gone through aliexpress, amazon/ebay us.uk sites, but i can't find a trustworthy OEM seller, they're all either aftermarket refurbished or completely defective fake .
so can anyone please tell me from where can i order online to get an OEM parts for my phone ? getting local repair is out of the question, they want to charge me 300$ and sony authorized re seller wants 350$....
please, any suggestion would be helpful .
I bought the screen digitizer from etrade supply. I will have someone attempt to replace 4-5 days from now. I'll let you know how it goes.
thank you !!!

Hey guys, I completely broke my screen and I am trying to replace it. I've contacted a few local service centers but most of them do not offer service for Xiaomi or are out of my budget. Anyway, I decided to replace it myself, but I have read on some threats that there are many non-original screens, which sometimes causes issues, being sold on aliexpress. So I was wondering if you guys could share with me some links where I could get a genuine replacement or give me some insight on what I should look for when going through aliexpress. I would greatly appreciate it. By the way, could you also tell me if it is necessary to get the screen with the frame, or is it okay if I just got the screen without it? I don't get if it is easier to change the display with the frame or without it. Thanks for all the help
Sorry for the late reply. I had a very good experience with this Aliexpress seller

After upgrading to MIUI 12 Global OTA yesterday, fingerprint unlock stopped working. When I select fingerprint unlock in settings to switch it on and enter my PIN, phone goes dark and restarts (MIUI splash screen). Any suggestions? Phone is stock...
