(moderators, please put this post in the right place)
1. My Phone is xperia-zl C6502 build 10.4.1.B.0.101
2. Successfully unlocked the bootloader
3. Used Flashtool to Iinstall CWM
4. Now my phone
a. does not boot: tried all combination of switches, including the yellow button next to the SD Card
b. is not recognized by flashtool any more
c. not recognized by Sony PC companion
d. no light/indication when put to charge.
5. I cannot flash stock firmware and then reboot the device as the device is no more recognized by flashtool?
Want help, desperately.

Hi,
This is real unfortunate and it does unlikely there is a fix other then sending it in for RMA.
I would advise to ask those who have your phone and maybe there is still some hope I don't know about.

[Q] problem with my XL.need help please

okay.to start off,i've been following this guide here to unlock my bootloader(*i dint know about xda before,as i see xda guide are way easy-,- ). so everything went fine and yes my XL are "Bootloader unlock allowed". i have followed every single step on that site and at the last step where you need to put your unlock boot loader key, this is where i think i've may screwed it up. it doesn't show any successful note or anything so i thought it was done but then again i've checked my bootloader status and it still remain the same as "Bootloader unlock allowed" which it suppose to be "Bootloader unlock done".
Okay that wasn't the worst part. so as i have failed, i decide to google about this thing and found out this guide here. so i've followed it,right up until when i need to connect my phone through BLU. this PART where i go seriously INSANE. it just that nothing happen. i've managed to enter fastboot before with sony guide but this i just dont know whats wrong with it. so ive checked up about it's and notice its probably my driver problem. so i've found this here go through with it and yet failed again. -,-
OKAY THIS IS THE WORST PART. so as i've bumped at failure and decide to give up on this thing then i've notice that my phone cannot be charged when it is off. really bump about this. i know im a newbie and i know my place.but please anyone help me on this. i dont care about unlocking my bootloader anymore, i just want my normal phone back where i can charged it when its off.

Firstly I welcome you at xda forum. Keep your calm. It will be fixed.
Now then, firstly you need to install DRIVERS for your device.
Secondly you will need to FLASH FTF firmware using FLASHTOOL after downloading FTF.
Thirdly, you need to be patient as it will take a bit of time for you as you are new to all this.
Install drivers from :
HERE
Secondly download FTF firmware from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2502970
Download flashtool :
http://www.flashtool.net/download.php
Next thing you need to do is FLASH FTF to your phone.
You must paste your FTF file in your flashtool/firmwares/HERE
Next you need to turn off your phone and then hold volume DOWN key and at the same time connect your phone via USB cable to the PC.
Next , open flashtool and install FTF using the RIGHT file you put in the folder. Don't install file from Xperia x8 or something that is already present.
Flash..
You are good to go! Good Luck

thanks a bunch thou for your help. but i think theres nothing i can do here.i've give up.plus the phone are working fine anyway, just that i cant flash anything thou. which is sucks but i'll manage it thou, somehow
Did you press vol down for flashmod and vol up for fastboot?
Open flashtool, don't click on any button just push vol down and push usb cable, then you will see if flashtool recognize your phone or will ask for drivers.

yes,i have done that 1000x times, and still nothing seems to work.i've even waited almost 1/2 an hour as i think it maybe take some time to load up but then again...nothing
i think the main problem is why my phone cannot be charged when it was off. as it does fine when i first got it? this is the real question because i think if your phone cant recognized the usb input while it was off then how the hell it gonna be discovered into flashmode or even flashboot. this is whats bugging me.
p.s,yes i have tried to flash with other computer, and still got the same result.
Try install adb driver with flastool drivers..you can find it under drivers folder via flashtool
Your bootloader is not unlocked and you can give it to service without problems.Maybe usb is broken. Use it till phone shut down, go to service and tell them that it don't want to charge.

Bootloop is normal after bootloader unlock, you need to flash the ftf rom there and then the FXP (kernel first) for example.

If gg gate drivers don't work try to go in fastboot mode and flash for example thunderzap kernel but before it put on your sd card a cm11 rom and flash it using recovery.

[Completed] [Q] Xperia P not responding after fastboot reboot

i was trying to flash to custom rom from the link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-u/u-development/rom-cyanogenmod-11-0-t2528466
after successfully unlocking bootloader i copied the .zip file of the custom rom into the phone, then from a post i followed the steps given below
Extract the boot.img from the zip to your computer, you will need this file for fastboot.
Place the CyanogenMod rom .zip file on the root of the SD card.
Optional: Place any supplemental packages' .zip file on the root of the SD card.
Put the phone into fastboot mode:
With the device powered down, hold Volume Up and connect the USB cable. The notification light should turn blue to indicate you are in fastboot mode.
Open a terminal on the PC and enter the following:
fastboot -i 0xfce flash boot boot.img
fastboot -i 0xfce reboot
While the device reboots, press the Volume rockers a few times to load recovery.
everything went successfully but when i ran the reboot command at the end
fastboot -i 0xfce reboot
the device showed the charging notification light for the last time.
the device has not woken up yet,.
is it bricked,,??
What is the solution next.?
Please help
Not a fun situation, the best place to get help and hopefully fix your device would be in the q&a forum

I would love to help you but being I have never used your device before I'm not the best person to ask. If you start a new thread in the forum I linked you should be able to find someone there with the right info to hopefully fix your phone.
Also the purpose of this forum is to point people in the right direction not help fix the issue.
But if anyone can help you it will be these talent xda users, specifically the ones who have your device
Best of luck!

[Xperia J] Flash Mode + Fastboot = 'USB Device Not Recognized'

Hello Everyone, So i have a Sony Xperia J Unlocked Boot Loader + Custom MIUI Rom, I wanted to go back to stock rom, but when i use flashtool and place my device on flashmode a green LED indicates on my device like usual but on my pc screen it says ' USB Device not Recognized' so now i can't flash stock ftf, is there any other way to get to stock rom or any way to resolve this problem?
(I have a 64-Bit Windows 8.1 Laptop)
First select ftf that you want to flash on Flashtool, wait for pop-up window that tells to connect your phone than connect your phone. If you have drivers installed and disabled drivers verification it should work.
Good Luck

NO SIM card detected on D2302 on any Custom ROM,Urgent help needed

Hello Xperia M2 dual D2302 users and rest of the dev's,
Right now i ran out of all options after spending huge amount of time in browsing threads.
Problem definition:
wifi works, bluetooth works but no SIM detected. NO IMEI found either.
I was on 18.6.A.0.182 ,did bootlocker unlock via Fastboot and then used eagle root to root device.Installed TWRP,CWM,Phil recoveries .Currently i'm on TWRP.
able to fastboot able to enter recovery ,able to flash different ROMs available in forum.
Biggest issue apart from SIM undetection is NOT ABLE to enter FLASHMODE using latest flashtool. tried installing drivers many times and tried to enter flashmode.
when I start flashtool and load a ftf then click flash ,Volume- doesnt take me to flashmmode , i see that GREEN LED blinks for sec and then disappears ,flashtool keeps waiting while i get attached errors.
not sure where im doing wrong but this phone is crucial for me right now.
i bought this device in india and right now using in US.
i tried booting s/w's without SIMs as well.
can you guys please help me?
Below are the ROMs and recoveries tried,
1.cm-11-20141030-UNOFFICIAL-eagle
2.cm-12-20150322-UNOFFICIAL-eagle
3.cm-13.0-20161117-UNOFFICIAL-eagle
4.cm-14.1-20161213-UNOFFICIAL-eagle
5.EagleXperience-5.0b1
6.omni-6.0.1-20160227-eagle-EXPERIMENTAL
7.Slim-eagle-5.1.1.custom.2-UNOFFICIAL-20151118-0020
8.Z5-STYLE-4.6-eagle
and i have tried CWM ,TWRP,PHil recoveries.
Please help me.
Sorry.Post removed
You should try to restore stock ROM and if it won't work, then you should send it to service repair.
As i understand...restoring means using flashtool? if so my phone doesnt get into flashmode..any idea how to restore?
If you can't get into flashmode then you really should send it to service repair.
hello @tromine thanks for your suggestion.
i have one question related to "flashmode" drivers.
when you press vol-down button and connecting USB after that, should the flashtool installs flashmode drivers for D2302?
can you suggest me what should appear in device manager (see pic 2).
im using windows 10 home 64-bit OS and X64-bit processor PC.
can you please suggest.
Summary : I was able to restore the device.
How: I found that bcoz of 3rd party USB cable i wasn't able to get into flash mode(though fastboot,USB data transfer work using 3rd party cable).
Very importantly in my case .......This ROM FIUI-2.5-UNOFFICIAL-eagle saved me somehow by giving me IMEI number and SIMs were working. later using flashtool i did flash having right ftf. i guess i lost IMEI , signal by flashing wrong ROMs(mine was D2302 eagle-ds Indian version)
Now I'm able to fully restore the device with all functionalities working as usual, I'm so relieved now.
I felt like a noob and a geek at the same time lol.
Thanks for all devs who created all those wonderful tools.
OP: please close this thread.
Glad to see that you solved your problem
Hi! Im facing the exact same prob with my xperia m2 dual (d2302).
No sim card is detected but everything else is working on stock rom. I tried flashing FIUI as you said above but am still unable get any signal on either of my sim cards. Please help, Thanks!

Google Xperia m2 drivers, you need additional drivers (you can find them on Sony mobile) to flash M2. Green led also blik and disappear for me but Flashtool tell me that phone is connected in Flashmode.
Good Luck!
