Hey guys, my One is not charging past 86%. It does this on both AOSP ROMs and the GPE ROM. I think it could be a kernal thing, but it's weird that it does it on different ROMs. What do you guys think?
Maybe turn it off n let it fully charge then turn it back on...Or try a new kernel

I flash the CM 10 Nightly build on my GS3 VZW and my battery dies but not just in the regular way. I have had my phone on the charger all day at work and instead of it charging it has been dying to the point of where it's close to zero. When I try to cut the phone off & charge it that way instead of it charging it just keeps rebooting itself. I've tried whipping every thing & i'm getting the same results. My next step is to change the roms itself & see if that does anything. I love the rom but without a battery it's no good to me. Any suggestions..?

I would go back to stock rom to see if it works, i had a similar problem and had to get my phone replaced because the battery was dead and wouldnt charge. Idk if it was something with the rom or not.
the same thing was happening to me and i thought it was the rom and/or kernel, turned out that the ac charger broke 3 weeks from when i got the phone so it wasn't charging anything

I'm not a developer for my Mobile Device I just don't want to fall in the same problem I faced with CM10
Charging is too slow .. Battery become empty even if I'm plugging in the charger .. It gives me it's charging while the charger is not connected at all also Led of charger is not working now ... The Device become very HOT when I use it
My Question which ROM is the Best to solve this problems I don't want to keep my phone on charge all the day I use it 24 hours

Mmm.. it doesn't really sound like a CM10 Problem..
AW: [Q] CM10 is bad , which ROM is better I don't want to test all - HTC One S :(
Can't also confirm that issue. CM10 running stable like CM10.1. Battery life is quite good...

My CM10 has excellent battery life, and charges 10->100% in roughly 2.5-3h.

Flash what I'm currently running.
The latest pac man ROM and also flash bubbas kernel 2.7 on top of that. All the stuff you need is in my SIG. Please hit thank i helped. Cheers!

I need some help
I'm on ultimate nexus rom(4.2.2)
And I'm using xtreme rejoice kernel
Yesterday i flashed bindass boost kernel for testing purposes
And the phone started to behave abnormally
(The kernel is really good and smooth, the developer has done a great job)
But in my case, i ran into a little problems
Now my phone's battery isn't charging
Or if charging then it's not showing the increase in charge
I flashed back the xtreme rejoice kernel
But the problem still persists
I've tried using different chargers
My phone is now plugged in from 1.5 hrs
And the charge is the same
But if i restart my phone the charge increases after reboot
I've tried reflashing my kernel and rom
Even a clean install
What might it be?
Is it a damaged battery?
Or a software bug i'm experiencing
And also the colour of led till yesterday was lighter
And today it's darker
Somebody help please!

I had faced the same problem last 2months ago. Whenever I restarted my phone it will either increase or decrease.
What I had done is in that bad condition I charged whole night and the next day I flashed back the ROM properly.
Whatever battery % was left I ended up to 0 and then tried charging and it took to 100% then I calibrated it. Its working fine for me till date

Which rom did u flashed? N now it dosent show different battery % on reboot at any time? & which callibratiin app did u used?
i think the problem was my battery
i took my gf's phone's battery and the problem is somewhat solved!
so I'll buy a new battery

I am on Tsunami Techvanced and yes its showing same else 1% drop in reboot.
Check by calibrating else your battery might be the culprit.

ya she's having a canvas 2 plus
different in hardware
but the battery is same 2000mah
and now i don't have any problem
even when i restart there is no battery drop
now I'm just looking for a good kernel for battery life
I've tried a few
and will keep trying until i find one

Ok guys sorry to revive such an old thread
But i gave my canvas 2 to my mom
And now again some problem is there
The battery is only 5-6 months old and is in good condition.
But it's giving very low battery backup.
It takes forever to charge
But after charging it for sometime if i restart the phone the battery level rises.
So would caliberation help?

I was using stock rom, 15.3.A.1.17 when suddenly my phone charged too slowly, it discharges faster than it charges.
But if i switch off the phone and charge, it charges. But sometimes even that doesn't work. I thought maybe it was a software problem, so i flashed my phone with stock .ftf
That didn't work. So I installed CyanogenMod 12.1 and StryFlex 1.5 ROMs to see whether it was a software problem. But even in those ROMs it doesn't charge.
Please suugest me a fix for this.
P.S : I already tried out multiple chargers.
Solution is simple you must BUY new battery because i in 99% you have broken battery.
Hello.
I'm having battery issues on my HTC One S with [ROM] MaximusHD 10.0.0, already tryed with 3 different batteries but all of them drain very fast, the phone still has about 50% charge but switches off ( while being used ) and when i switch it on only has about 18/20% charge.
At the begginning i thought the battery was the problem but since this issues appens with all 3 batteries i'm now thinking it might be some kind of issue regarding the ROM and would like to know if already appened to someone else.
