Yes, I searched and everything suggested, such as #*#*DATA*#*# or #*#*DEBUG*#*# doesn't work, the phone simply dials that "number" as says "Can not complete the call as dialed" or something similiar
Thanks,

I might be wrong, but these should be a few codes you can use though I'm not sure if they're what you're looking for.
*#*#4636#*#* Testing menu(Phone, Battery & Wifi Info, Usage Statistics).
*#06# MEID number(Display's your IMEI).
*#*#2432546#*#* Checkin(Manually check for System Updates).
*#*#8255#*#* For Google Talk service monitoring.
*#*#786#*#* Hard Reset(Wipes/Resets Data/Profile & internal storage!) (think before you do it! no warning, no go back).
*#*#1234#*#* or *#*#7873778#*#* Open superuser application.
*#123# then press dial. Shows you if you are in your home network or not (only across networks in USA/Canada).

Just trying to get to the engineering screen to take a look.
Not luck with any of the suggestions so far.
I get one of two results always:
Either :
- Can not make the call as dialed (or something similar)
- Connection problem or invalid MMI code

Just found out what RTFM means - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RTFM
But it still does not make sense. I am making receiving calls, I am receiving emails? The manual states "Connection is not active". What connection?

I have this strange problem since 1 month ago more or less.
I'm not able to make call only to my gf, it's the only number I can't call. I can text her (sms and wa) but not call!
I tried to reset and change rom and kernel to my NexusS, and I also tried to reset her galaxy ace, and to delete my contact from her list.
nothing.:crying:
any idea?

If you REALLY did that, then it might be a network problem, a radio problem, or someone cursed you both.
But i think it's a network problem. Can you call other contacts normally?
Maybe try changing your radio! If that doesnt help call your provider or call somebody in the same network as her!
But maybe theres a reason you cant call her? (jk)

What happens when u call?
Nothing?
Voicemail? Or
Something else?
If voicemail then it could be her phone that has ur # set as "send call directly to voicemail"
If nothing then its ur phone... But if ur able to make other calls then try dialing her number with the 1 in front of area code then try without. It could have been changed somehow.
Lastly, do either u or ur gf use Google voice or any other service besides ur phone company? ... If so check those settings just to make sure.
Good luck

i cant tell you which to flash cause it depends on your area. i used to use the kb3 because i had faster internet and better connection with it... but i moved away and i didnt care about looking which works best.
but it does seem more likely that theres sth wrong with your girlfriends phone...

well thank you all for the replies first of all!
I had a look at her phone yesterday and there's no "send to voicemail" option activated, it was the first thing I tried.
She has no apps for blacklisting contacts and, at first view, no option to do that.
we both can make call to everyone, and she can call me but i can't call her: when I try I hear for a moment the "tuu" sound (hope you understand what I mean) then the typical sound of call terminated.
I'm pretty sure it's a problem related to her phone. It has a GB 2.3.7 custom rom installed by me last year, I never updated it but it always work perfectly!
I will try a different radio just for trying to speed up my internet connection, I don't think it can be related to this problem too.

Lol, anyway, check both phones, Google voice, and carriers for any sort of blocks. I know that on some phones, it's easy to accidentally put someone on a block list.

This didn't work for me.
The same message returns "Find device cant activate SIM card"
"Couldn't send activation message" " Make sure that your SIM card has been activated."
I did the cloud phone number verification also.
The SIM card is activated with my Network Provider and it works fine in a Samsung phone.
I receive this error with both my Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and Mi Mix 2s.
Perfectly good phones aside from this problem.
Looks like I'll have to purchase a new Samsung phone.
They don't require a SIM activation on their end.
I just got the NA version of the ROG Phone 5 and sadly I cannot get VoWiFi working on TMobile. Sadly I'm in an area where I don't get the best signal and it's extremely important for this feature to work. Especially considering I spent 1k+ for this phone... Any help/guidance would be appreciated.
Have you enabled it in settings and then tried a reboot?
I've also noticed that it may not work until the SIM is installed BEFORE initial setup (or before a factory reset)
I confirmed with other people too. US version doesnt have Tmobile wifi. If it would, I would have bought one

You should be able to copy and paste if that doesn't work try pasting but delete the last * and add it manually. If that still doesn't work just manually type it in. Wi-fi calling was a deciding factor for me lol was about to return it until I found out I could get it to work properly.

I'd like to add that after running the dialing code you have to enable wifi calling in the settings app.
Aswell as that, at least for me, I need to disable and re-enable it within settings after re-running the dial after reboot, for it to actually reconnect
Just to avoid any confusion.
This does work tho! Kva is right!

I agree, but idk if they need some authorization from T-Mobile to enable it by default and we're just the end user working around that.
Otherwise, I'm not really sure at all why the functionality is developed but not enabled by default.

Yeah it's stupid I ended up talking to advanced tech support and the guy has never heard of ROG phone 5 and said I should return it cuz it seems like it's a hardware issue.... I'm like dude it's your system not giving me proper access's and authorizing my phone... He's like I guess you know more about phones than I do... The idiot even made me reset my phone to try and fix it even though I told him several times that has nothing to do with it.... I swear I have no idea how some of these morons get jobs as IT... At least have basic IT understanding....
They're not in IT. They're customer service reps. They read from a script.
Check out the movie The Internship. It's just like that.

Well, when I'm talking to the advanced Technical team I am not talking to customer service reps... I talked to a customer service rep and they forwarded me to the IT team. Considering they are called advanced technical teams I would assume they are in IT. whereas the initial person I talked to was and clearly stated she was a customer service rep.
The only difference between the two people you spoke with is that one had access and authorization to suggest more "advanced" solutions. I'm not saying they shouldn't have better training, but legitimate IT professionals rarely work the call center as more than a summer job.
Anyway, the point was that they're a waste of time unless the issue is the SIM card or your plan. It's unfortunate.
Dial codes typically trigger an intent. If you can track down the intent, you can have it launch automatically on boot. Once that's taken care of, it shouldn't be too hard to automatically enable the setting. That is assuming you called because setting the prop didn't work.
Another alternative if you do have a property and can't write to system is setting it with a magisk module, since the system is read only on a firmware level.

How would I set that up using magisk module? One Issue I have noticed is the wifi calling turns itself off after a while. sometimes it works for several hours other times maybe a day but then turns off and I have to restart the phone and run the command again.
