[Q] Phone tries to enter Recovery mode that is broken - General Questions and Answers

Hey guys, I need help.
I have started to follow instructions to install ClockworkMod on Samsung S5660 Gio. I have downloaded cwm-6.0.2.7-itachiSan-ext4only.zip as it was suggested, renamed it as update.zip and then installed it through recovery mode (home+power buttons).
After that, I am not able to restart phone in the recovery mode, but the phone was working as usual after classical reboot. Then, I have tried “Reboot in Recovery” from application “ROM Manager”.
Now, I have phone that tries to enter Recovery mode that is broken.
Is there any way to break this magic loop? Is it possible to stop phone restarting in reboot mode or to recover recovery mode?
Please, help!!!

Download the stock rom and flash it by going into download mode
(you will need pc to flash)

Thank you pushkardua.
Is it possible to charge battery with device in this condition? When it is connected to the charger nothing visually happens?

if your phone is off I don't see why it wouldn't charge.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S 19000-Stuck in Downloading Mode

Hi Guys,
Ive managed to root my phone, install all the necessary ROM files on my internal SD card.
Unfortunately, i have now bricked my fone and i it either stays on the black screen with the initial "Samsung Galaxy S 19000" in white writing....OR...if i press the 3-button combo it takes me to "Downloading mode"
I followed a link which said to..
Step 4.Put your phone into download mode again and flash the CyanogenMod 7 initial kernel (cm7-galaxys-initial-kernel.tar file from initial CM7 package) to it as PDA without auto-reboot using Odin.
Step 5.Reboot your phone into recovery using three button combination again.
Once i tried to reboot into recovery mode...it wouldnt allow me...it only took me to downloading mode. I think its because i didnt install ClockworkMod Recovery.
I need help with the following possible solutions:
Solution A: Can i flash any ROM ONLY using Odin? At least i can get into the phone and install ClockworkMod Recovery manally.
Solution B: Is there any other way to get into Recovery Mode..so i can just wipe/reset to factory mode?
Solution C: Any other ideas??
Thanks...any help would be appreciated!

[Q] Huawei Vision keeps restarting

Hi guys,I am new here
Today I flashed my vision with custom rom (2.3.7+root) from a Russian forum.Everything was OK,then I installed the Beats app and restarted. Now the phone is constantly rebooting. How can I fix it? ?Please help
PS: I try to get in recovery menu, but I cant
do you have backup? if you have
try to get recovery via adb
type ' adb reboot recovery '
and then restore
I dont have backup.I managed to get into recovery and made factory defaults, but nothing. It keeps restarting.I uploaded the rom to my sd card. And I saw "download rom from sd card" in the recovery menu.If I click it,would it flash the rom?
And another thing is that i cant remove the battery and that is why it is so hard to get into recovery
PS How it is possible to get into recovery mode when the phone is constantly restarting and I cant remove the battery?

1. Hold the Vol (+) and Power button and hold it until the screen is black. Count to 10 seconds. (Hard reset)
2. Remove a second finger from the Power button and return back to Power button (Quickly release and immediately press it back.) Huawei logo should appear just for a second and then it will turn off. Count to 10 seconds.
3. Remove your fingers and wait for the phone to turn on again, if not then good, if on then do it all over again.
4. Enter recovery mode
5. Flash it back using SUT L3.

I have same PROBLEM, anny help?

P3100 - Soft bricked

Hello everybody!
I wanted to put a new ROM on my tablet so I downloaded the ROM and the GAPPs on my tablet.
I booted in the recovery mode, where I " factory reset", "wipe cache" and "format system". After formatting the system step, I saw that I put the old ROM file so I rebooted the tablet.
Now I got stuck on Samsung logo.
I CANT manage to get in recovery mode, neither in download mode. The only mode I can get is "Forced Upload by key Pressing"
What can I do to redo the life of my tablet?
I manage to see the tablet in ODIN using the "Forced Upload by key Pressing" mode, but its getting stuck at "setup connection" when I try to flash a stock ROM and a pit file.

These type of problems often occur when you do not clear the DALVIK CACHE.
try hard to go to the recovery mode and then perform a factory reset and try rebooting .
if that doesn't work you can always go for odin.
first install odin on your pc.
- now try going to download mode(if you cannot go to download mode try pressing the buttons hard)
-now download the firmware for your model in the below link.
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
-now open odin in your pc
-go to download mode and connect your device to your pc.
-now select PDA in odin and browse for the firmware you downloaded before.
-now click start, this might take some time.
-if it is a success it will show pass!
-now try rebooting your device , if you still get stuck in the bootlogo try going to recovery mode, you will see your stock recovery. now do a factory reset.
-now try rebooting it should be fine.
NOTE:keep your device charged more than 50% before doing these processes.
hope this helps you............
If you still have any problems please let me know.

[Q] HP Pro Slate 12 - recovery mode and factory reset both disappeared!

Hi everyone,
I'm sorry if I post this question in a wrong section but there is no thread for my device on xda.
It seems like I ruined the recovery mode of my Android tablet. It's a HP Pro Slate 12 tablet with Android 5.1.1 on it. It's rooted. I wanted to install CWM Recovery to backup everything, but my device wasn't listed as a supported device. My friend told me I can install the LG G3 recovery instead because it's compatible. I installed that. Since then recovery mode completely disappeared. The device still boots in normal mode and works, but I cannot boot into recovery mode anymore. I really need it because the device boots normally but sometimes acting strange since I rooted it. I'd like to try unrooting it by going into recovery mode or doing a factory reset, but both options disappeared.
Here's what I've tried:
- I Googled this problem very thoroughly, but didn't find any help aside from "hold down 2 buttons to go into recovery mode" type of answers.
- I tried holding down volume up+power buttons while turning it on, but didn't work.
- Tried holding down volume down+power. Nope.
- Tried rebooting inside Android into recovery mode with Quick boot app. It rebooted my device but again it went into normal mode instead.
- Tried to reboot into recovery mode with ADP and FastBoot in Windows. ADB recognized my device (listed the serial number), Fastboot didn't recognize my device. So I tried to reboot into recovery with ADB. Same stuff happened. The device rebooted into normal mode.
- Tried to do a factory reset. DIDN'T work! Rebooted into normal mode once more. The factory reset hasn't deleted anything.
- I have the latest available update.zip from the official website for my device, but without recovery mode I cannot install it.
Any ideas? Did I really lose the possibility of recovery forever with a single click?

Samsung Galaxy S duos2 Gt-s7582L - CWM installed, but Native Recovery keeps up

Hello everyone, I installed CWM through the Odin and everything went right, but when I try to get into recovery mode it doesn't show up the CWM recovery, just the Native Recovery. So then I repeated the process again, but this time I prevented the device to reboot, instead I hung up and tried to get into recovery mode normally by pressing volume up+home+power buttons and it worked, then I went to the option reboot system and then I disabled the flash recovery and rebooted the system. However, the Native Recovery keeps showing up, I don't know what else to do in order to disable it. Can anyone help me?
