I am having Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 and i want to root my phone but cannot connect detect in ODIN in Download Mode but able to find when switch on in regular mode..
I am on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
Soo i would like to know that is there any alternative to ODIN ???

Use framaroot (?) Did u enable debugging mode before using ODIN?

Framaroot is not working in my model....
It finds one exploit but not able to inject SuperSU using it

Hi Everyone,
I now understand that the latest version of Triangle Away (version 2.90) is now compatible with Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus. I would like to ask everyone if resetting the binary counter has been successful for them using their s7500, or have they Hard Bricked their device. Also if this was successful, did you complete this without a reboot or did you need to use a special bootmode to reset the custom binary counter.
It didn't harm my phone. It didn't need to go to a special mode. Just the simple process then its done.

of course you need to root your device.... and about 4.4.2 thers no offical firmware for samsung s2 plus only CUSTOM ROM..

Which one rom you prefer? Cm11 ,omnirom or linaro?
And also where is guide to root?
I thought you don't need to root? Just upgrade to official 4.2.2 stock and then flash any 4.4.2 custom rom you want while following the instructions given in the threads where you can download the roms

- First you need to upgrade to 4.2.2
- Now root and install cwm on your device
- Download CM11 and Gapps for KK and reboot to cwm
- install CM11 and Gapps KK
- Wipe data/factory reset/Cache/Dalvik cache
- Reboot!

Mate, you can download official 4.2.2 firmware form here. It's not important for which country the ROM is made. Languages are the same in every one of them.
Odin is a small tool for flashing an OFFICIAL firmware and it's super easy. If you have problems with it, you can contact me on Private Message.
After you flash 4.2.2 your device may not be rooted, and you have to root it again to install the custom CM 11 ROM.
I am using Resurection Remix ROM 4.4 Kitkat and I'm happy with it at the moment. But when #build 6 of CM11 (unofficial of course) is released, for sure I'm gonna try it!

It supports only till tab 2 triangle away app doesn't seem to show my device model.
There is no flash counter in tab 3 t311... u can simply return to stock rom & nothing else needed to claim... u can find tar file for stock rom.. just flash it via odin..

Hey XDA community, I bring to you this FIX to use screen mirroring of Samsung S4 with our SmartTV
Disclamer: You apply the fix at your own risk. I'm not responsible for any software or hardware damage it can lead. The only thing i can assure is that i've tested fix on my I337M and work fine.
the steps to follow are
Download the file
Remplace the file in system/lib
Reboot
Thats all
SNAPDRAGON 600 - libwfdsm.rar
SNAPDRAGON 800 - hdcpoff_sd800_4.4.2.zip
Tested on Samsung Galaxy S4 I337M 4.4.2 (Snapdragon 600)

I think this was only for S4 based 4.4.2 TouchWiz roms. I don't think this works for roms like GOLDFiNGER.

What ROM are you running? I'm on HyperDrive, and somewhere in the OP it says something like "Screen mirroring patched to work on custom kernels." Maybe you can try out that rom.

I try to connect S4 with Sony Bravia 42 w804a but still " Failed to connect via Screen Mirroring " . So I thing Samsung mobile only connect with Samsung TV, right or wrong man ?
