[Q] GT-i9105

It's weird.I thought the nfc n non nfc rom are different. In the mist of testing the pac man rom,i discovered that it can boot and function as mentioned,which is weird cause it supposed to work on the i9105p version. So i downloaded the rom made by skullface(cm10),again to my surprise,it work as well,with the same function and issue with i9105p version. I haven't tried the panda's rom though,cause i suspect that's when my luck end So what really different between I9105 and i9105P 's ROM?
(ps: to other i9105 users,pls dont try it,i won't guarantee what will happen)

P version has NFC and I also saw something different in init scripts (/bin/RescueStarter). But that should be the only difference between those models.

No, differentiate. Continue making rom for I9105P so if you flash to P you will have nfc if you flash to non P you won't have nfc. If you do the reverse P won't have nfc

@v_superuser here is some 4.4.2 roms for Galaxy star pro ( I don't tested it ! )

Star pro us similar to our s duos (both have cortex a5 processor. I think we can take the rom parts from the above links ( I am not sure the links for kitkat or not . I founded it from Google . Forgive me if the links are wrong) .

Oh dude , I am not talking about the star pro rom for us . It's only a suggestion for v_superuser to fix the lib files . I am talking about the from parts only .
Secondly I reaplaced lib files with my stock , ace 2x (already) and an unknown lib of cm9(I know there is no cm9 for s duos . I just checked the processor & the CPU almost compatible for s duos . My bro. Searched it for me) from the Google .

So, I see that we're trying to implement a working RIL from another device, which should have Dual-Sim and should have the same chipset as our S Duos, and should also have a working build of Cyanogenmod 11. So, even though, Samsung Galaxy Star Pro has a similar chipset, it's not the same. It doesn't have the Adreno 200 GPU, 512 MB RAM, 2 MP of camera. Other than that, it doesn't even have a Cyanogenmod 11 avalible according to Google. So if Google can't find it, nobody can, right? :laugh:. I think RIL is the only thing @v_superuser wants to fix for now. Other than that, I think he can port almost everything from Galaxy Ace II X. In fact you can even flash a Cyanogenmod 11 build made for Ace II X in an S Duos, and it will work, except RIL. So that's our biggest issue, and Galaxy Star Pro nor Ace II X can help us

I tried, but it will not flash anything else after recovery, it will stuck after that step. so i flashed my baseband back.

I think u can, because i am in Bulgaria, but i was with Greece rom.Everything was OK.

I have been looking for a month a ROM for galaxy grand neo plus gti9060i. There is even ROM for grand neo gti9060 but not for gti9060i. I actually don't know about this when I was buying the phone. I actually bought it for installing custom ROM. I don't know to create a custom rom coz I an just 14...... Pleaseeeeee help me. I want a cust ROM of lolipop or any other android is except 4.4.4 which is my current is please the ROM should be above 4.4.4. Dear friend as I said the rom is for gti9060 which is a grand neo and my device is grand neo plus gti9060i. If you are a professional please tell me weather I can install the gti9060 ROM for gti9060i. Anyway thanks a lot for responding.

I don't think you're crazy, I know how it feels to want to change your device to suit your needs. Unfortunately, I don't think there's anything you can do at this moment. Do not flash anything that isn't built specifically for your device, or you'll surely end up bricked.

So, i tried to compile cm12 for this phone >>>but no luck. Tried several times to fix it but the error comes and comes and comes again. I will ask some devs to tell me the fix for the error. But i will work until i have a fix for it

I was on bod6 wit permissive kernel and it worked on mine sow no other flashing needed

Me too there is no gear manager app in the Samsung store. Already installed the apk manually but when i try to connect it says that the rom is not compatible...

I'm sure you forgot su flash lolipop bootloader and modem.
If you sure you have those try to wipe again on recovery and check if you have downloaded ok ... cheers
