You need to provide more information. What did you had on the phone before, how did you try to update, with all the details you can think of.

Are you sure there's enough battery on your phone?
Put it on a wall charger and see if it boots up? Or whether the battery logo is shown?
What type of device does the computer say it is after connecting your device to it?

Hold down the power button for 30+ seconds.. If no response then hold down power button+vol down for 30+ seconds and see?
If the above fails try using the LG Flash tool. Steps are here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/goo...orial-how-to-flash-factory-images-lg-t2713833

Thanks for reply, but it just says fastboot devices not found

If the device doesn't turn on and is neither being detected by the LG Flash tool (assuming you have tried it properly). I'm not sure you can do anything else right now other than RMA'ing the device.
You could try accessing the secondary bootloader method and see.. I don't have the link to that thread but if you search, I'm sure you will find it.. I'm on Tapatalk right now and can't search properly.

I'm at a dead on arrival after 4.4.3 install myself. It just won't move even though fastboot/adb checks out.
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader-nameType-versionType.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash radio radio-nameType-versionType.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot -w update image-nameType-versionType.zip
Falling back to 4.4.2

Clamp the keys - no reaction. Battery is charged. Hold the power button longer than a minute - nothing. On charge indicator lights and nothing too.

My phone sometimes is completely discharged all of a sudden. Takes about half a minute of charging to get back being able to turn it on again, still connected to the charger. Maybe happened to you? Try connecting it to a powered charger and try turning it on again...

Can you get back to the bootloader screen? (hold vol down + power) If you can, you can get to fastboot and push a different recovery/kernel/rom/whatever you need from the PC (fastboot.exe probably will detect your phone if it's in fastboot mode).
This post has a solution for some cases: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=25850720&postcount=8
This thread has a FAQ that might give you some ideas too (post #3): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1599363

No, when i hold Power (or vol down + power), phone doesn't do anything, screen doesn't light up, no vibration, no any reaction. So i can't get to hboot or fastboot.
Your phone is DEAD.. might be some issue with hardware

There are problems entering HBoot sometimes. Try to enter it via your computer. Plug your phone into computer and use the command "adb reboot-bootloader" twice. You should get to the bootloader

[Q] Google Logo BootLoop

Hello,
I have a black nexus 5, recently updated to 4.4.3. And I've got those random reboots. One of these the phone don't come out of it. Stays off. When I try to turn on It only shows the Google Logo, vibrates and then turns off, sometimes it stays bootlooping for a while.
I've tried to get to the recovery menu, and I couldn't. I've send it to the LG here in Brazil, and they can't fix it.
Anyone knows any alternatives?
Have you tried to reflash the stock images? http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/tutorial-how-to-flash-factory-image-t2513701
Why you could not enter the recovery menu? What happend?

Lost root and have bootloop...bricked?

Hi,
really need help...I was about to sold my old HTC Sensation XE, rooted and had viper 5.2.1 on it - deleted everything from SD card, but wanted to be sure nothing remained on my phone so I made factory reset (i think I shouldn't to this)..
Now when I turn phone On it loads HTC logo, then Viper logo and restarts and then again HTC, Viper restart...
When I hold power button + vol.down nothing happens (HTC->Viper and restart) + all the buttons are flashing...
Did I bricked my phone for good or is there a way how to reflash everything?
Thanks

U must be doing it wrong or ur volume button is dodgy. Ur phone being in a bootloop should not affect getting into bootloader once uv pulled the battery.
I'm sure it was working before (my girlfriend used it a never told me she is not available to lower the sound)
why are bottom buttons flashing while holding power + vol down?

I dunno, mine does that if im in a bootloop n i try a hard reset. Dont worry. The vol button mite work but she mite just need to give it an extra push, no harm in cleaning it coz the sensations r bad for dust getting in there. K pull the battery out for a min n put back in then press and hold vol down (hard) and press n hold power button. U should get to bootloader, keep trying till u do. As long as u pull the battery out u should get there at some point.
Sometimes I also have to pull the battery out twice to make it go into bootloader. Just make sure you have enough charge in the battery too.
no luck... tried it around 20 times and nothing... communication via fastboot is not working..
so I guess there is no other way how to enter recovery as vol down and power

@Niflheimer is wrong. If you want to boot without a power button simply hold down the "volume down" button. and plug your phone into a power source. It will go straight into fastboot mode. You will need android SDK installed on your computer here, then load your nexus 5 into fastboot mode (like mentioned previously) and type "fastboot reboot" you device will power on.
no power button needed
Sorry , I thought he meant without external devices.

that happened to my old ativ s as well, it was due to a broken power button (electrically stuck, not mechanically) the only solution for me was to solder a new power button on it. But I just used it as an excuse to get a new phone.

if you install gravitybox and xposed there should be an option to turn on the screen with the volume buttons (I'm not sure though, it might have been another module) so you could use that as a temporary solution.

with phone turned off, (you can remove the battery and re plug it), hold the volume down button and connect it to the wall charger(do not use PC,it will trigger lg download mode), then you will be able to go to fastboot.
Once there you can:
fastboot reboot to boot to normal OS
fastboot boot twrp so you can install a rom or any other mod

Now I'm just waiting my new power button
i had this **** sorry for swearing i thought its something with my ROM CM13 Nightly I tried the repair service they said that they changed the power button no data was deleted so its probably the button but some one had a guide how to get the phone out that **** using your PC and manual ADB commands ( No program command line only )
I need help with this issue
when this problem reached me it was a meter of replacing the power button itself (it's like stuck there) by the way my phone was still under warranty so they changed it for me
