Sorry . However i try to s-off (meanwhile i googled). So i.tale the code on htcdev...all.procedure gone fine. The file pusched into but cant select Like image. I dowloaded a ota firmware from xdA Insert on microsd and try to installato from recovery. Its until s-on. I find a link moonshine or something similar. So i download a software try to connect the iPhone in recovery (driver not work) HTC sync remo ed. I start the installer (CMD) day yes bit not work give me errore. I think i need s-off for flash it right?

You maybe can fix with S-On. On your picture, your phone is locked. Make sure you are unlocked by htcdev.com!!!
Then install TWRP recovery from here (with fastboot).
Then you can install stock rom from here.
And don't forget to flash boot.img of the rom with fastboot.

On the screen must be written "Unlocked", otherwise you can not proceed.

Infact the last step on htcdev was a grapich choose on android but the iPhone not start . can i do another way? I try Also windroid bit not work. PS i need some driver?

The steps at htcdev are very good described. I can not tell better.

infact the problem is the step on htcdev like picture. I cant select because system not start. there is another way?

You see this picture on your phone or not?
Did you get the ulock code from htc? What then?
Describe exactly, what you have done, all steps and commands, that we can see, if there is something wrong.

On the iPhone si easy because nothing change. No new frame or another. On the PC the update file for unlock si OK but i not see the image i upload on post. If si Wright i think that photo there si on iPhone. But i can select only if system start and mine not start.

Did you flash the unlock code with fastboot?
Code:
fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin

Of course. Same message.
But there is another way for flash all? With a tool And without problem s-on?

You can not flash anything with a locked bootloader.
Do you have a working fastboot connection?
What happens when you enter the command
Code:
fastboot devices
What result do you get in cmd screen?

Well, then it should be working. You must get this to unlock, otherwise there is no option to flash anything.

This message is normal. It's checking for (official HTC) files to flash.
Another question: the unlock code you've got with your email from HTC, what did you do with it? Where did you put it in?

Use the unlock_code.bin token htcdev emailed you to unlock it, then flash a recovery or you can run a ruu and that will get you back up n running with a clean slate. Anytime you relock the bootloader this will happen. Easy fix and your far from bricked so dont worry. Hope this helps, let me know if u have anymore questions

[Q] deleted htc framework file and phone doesnot start

deleted htc framework file and phone doesnot start.
After rooted my htc One X. In the process of removing at&t crap ware I accidentally deleted something that said htc frame work.
From then on my phone would not start. I unlocked my phone as well. How ever I didnot have any custom ROM installed or didnot have any back up done.
When I tried to reboot my phone after deleting the htc frame work file, it would not start. HTC icon would show up and it would not go further.
These are the things I did.
1. I flashed CWM.
2.I flashed TWRP.
3.I finally flashed CWM. 5.8.3
Then I went to fastboot mode and
removed Dalvik Cache, Erased the sd card
and tried to 'mount usb storage' but it would say
"unable to open ums lunfile(no such file or directory)SD card space free:10169MB"
My phone though shows as a removable disk , when i click on the icon it would say " Please insert disk into removable disk." I tried to save a custom ROM on my memory card and flash it but my system doesnot detect my phone.
Can some one please help me?
Thank you.
HTC Framework is part of the OS. You deleted part of the OS.
Install TWRP and mount USB, then load a custom ROM or one of the rooted stock ROMs in the Development forum.
Alternately, relock the bootloader and run the RUU.
Lock bootloader run ruu start over. Next time the very first thing you do is make a nandroid back up.

You mentioned you tried to mount USB using fastboot (I've never mounted USB using fastboot, so I can't comment on that). Try mounting USB within TWRP, and see if that works. FYI, the USB mount feature in CWM does not work, and CWM does not really support our device, and has major issues. That's why its strongly recommended you use TWRP and not CWM.

Website seems to be too busy now. As long as its not 2.20, it should be okay. Normally, I would caution against randomly searching around the internet for things and flashing them, and instead getting them here instead. But briefmobile is Kenneth Penn's website, and he is a known developer on XDA.

I'd stay away from CWM. I know it used to cause problems, but I don't know if it does anymore.
Most everybody here (in the One XL forums) prefer TWRP anyways.
Thanks for you time everybody.
This is what I did last night.
Downloaded a RUU from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1671237
and put my phone in the fastboot usb mode and ran RUU.
After a while my phone would have a blank screen with glowing "htc" logo on it, as shown in the RUU utility.
Nothing happens and my phone is still in the state of brick.

You must relock your bootloader temporarily or the RUU will fail. As long as you have your unlock token you can re-unlock once you RUU.
When you are in fastboot, type "fastboot oem lock"
Once it's locked, run the RUU.
Once that is done, re-unlock by flashing the token.

its a fault in your device .i had the same problem earlier. Just send it back to the service center for repair.
Enter your hboot.
Give us the details of your phone you see there, unlock/lock , s-on/s-off and your hboot version.
Am on my phone now but if you use the search button you could probably find the solution to your phone quicker.

May i know what is the varient of your phone? Because the method i followed is to root my E8 M8sX single sim. Im not sure if daul sim will cause a problem or not.
Firstly, you need an unlocked bootloader which can be unlocked through htcdev. You will need to create an account and follow the steps on the website. By unlocking the bootloader, it will wipe away all your data(messages, contacts, Apps etc.) on your phone so do a BACKUP before proceeding on the website.
Next, you will need a TWRP (which is a custom recovery to flash custom ROMs and root). TWRP can be found here. Finally, you need a flashable SuperSU to install through TWRP from here. Save the TWRP and SuperSU zip files on your sd card.
Then, follow the steps in this link. Download Minimal ADB and fastboot. Skip step 2 on the page after the one to download adb and fastboot. Just go straight to command without turning off your phone. Also, there is no need to download TWRP and SuperSU again from the page.
If you encounter any errors during the rooting process, just stop and get back to the state where the device is still bootable and for daily use. Ask me and i will try to reply ASAP.
**Disclaimer: I am in no way responsible if your device becomes unusable after the rooting process. Btw, Nisekoi is quite fun to watch but becomes draggy in the manga

Well, yeah thats what i meant. One way just to be safe would be after flashing twrp, boot to homescreen. After that then flash SuperSU. Other than while unlocking the bootloader will wipe away everything, i don't think flashing twrp and supersu will cause your phone to brick. Now knowing that we have the same varient then things should also go smoothly with yours. Do take note that the phone may take longer to boot after factory reset.
Just in case you didn't know, in order to boot the phone to recovery is by pressing power and volume down at the same time while the phone is off.

Please help: How to return htc u11 to stock

Hi guys,
My phone now is on LeeDroid custom ROM (Build 1.03.401.6.9_g CL923215)
What are the steps to return the htc u11 to stock please?
The original software number of my phone is: 1.11.400.4
EDIT: I went to: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72425224&postcount=5
& downloaded stock recovery & nandroid TWRP backup (for 1.11.400.4).
However, I couldnt flash that nandroid TWRP from TWRP recovery.
Long story short, I just got the phone today, I made a big mistake by not inserting the simcard in & testing to see if the phone working or not.
So, I went straight through the process of unlocking bootloader, installing TWRP, Rooting, Installing custom ROM without making a nandroid backup.
For all that, the phone did not recognize the sim cards (tried both my sim & my gf's sim. not working)
The store will take back the phone as long as I return it to stock.
Thanks for your help!!!

For all that, the phone did not recognize the sim cards (tried both my sim & my gf's sim. not working)
The store will take back the phone as long as I return it to stock.
Thanks for your help!!!

You'll need to download the stock rom for your verison (ruu). Hopefully one is available. Check the guide section here.

Restore the TWRP backup, check everything is working, then flash stock recovery if you need to. The stock Nandroid should include recovery asfaik. I'm more of a trial and error guy lol. Read guide pages to know for certain, check HTC 10 guides, same steps.

1. Transfering the TWRP backup to the phone's storage
2. Flashing that backup just like flashing the custom ROM (it says Invalid zip file format. Error ect...) Please help
3. Flashing the recovery just like flashing the TWRP using adb commands
4. Lock the bootloader? I don't know how to do this.
Please advice

Get the one from here and follow instructions. That's what the thread is for. https://forum.xda-developers.com/u11/how-to/collection-htcu-u11-ruu-firmware-t3612048. Sorry i don't have time to do the leg work for you (i'm out atm), but it's all there.
download this Official RRU firmware and install it https://forum.xda-developers.com/u11/how-to/unlocked-htc-u11-software-update-6-19-t3624814
Use the ruu, you might need the HTC drivers but in the future never not make a backup, 15 mins could save u a major headache

Finished downloading & now I got an ERROR installation, something like a wrong ROM, probably because I'm currently on LeeDroid custom ROM (Build 1.03.401.6.9_g CL923215)
Please advice
Thank you

Your going to need a full signed RUU zip matching your original firmware and CID buddy.
Based on your original build number its an Indian dual SIM device so here is the ruu:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=817550096634780026
1. Rename it to 2PZCIMG.zip
2. Lock your bootloader
3. Drop the zip on your external SD card.
3. Boot to download mode, at that point you will be prompted to flash... Accept... Profit.
If you don't have an external SD.
1. Lock your bootloader.
2. Boot to download mode.
3. Open a cmd window and run the below commands.
fastboot orm rebootRUU (hit enter)
fastboot flash zip (drag the zip into the cmd window then hit enter)

On the PC side, what was the exact error message?
you can ignore the warning from the phone side.
I had a similar issue the other day, but then I was able to run the RUU upgrade to rest my phone back to stock as I had to ship it back for a refund, to get the new Red ones
When I ran the RUU thing it wouldn't detect the phone, did a few things, and then it was finally able to detect the phone.
and when it started updating the Boot image it hung for a long while, I had to restart the phone back into download mode, then run the RUU again, and it was able to continue from there.

The 1.03.401.6 may be European software. You will need the RUU for your exact phone model from: http://www.htc.com/us/support/updates.aspx
or https://forum.xda-developers.com/u1...u-firmware-t3612048/post72425227#post72425227
