I am currently on ICS CM9 froyo kernel Epsylon .. So would this work on it if I flash?

the first think that i saw on this ROM is that my phone not working on 2g(no signal) i'm from Poland any soultion?

Rom link is working, just downloaded. Only thing if you're trying from your phone, you need to select option "Request desktop site" to be able to load the website

Great job. I love this rom. I've installed it a few minutes ago and it looks that is working flawless (The only problem is that the launcher it lags sometimes). It's fast, it's good looking and will definitely be my rom until next release ^^. So, I'd rate this rom with 9.5/10.
One more problem is when you activate the rotation animation.. it's buggy, when you rotate the phone it shows a green screen. But except that, it's awesome.

Who would like the version of the KK-Smart style S4 or Z1?

Both S4 and Z1 would be nice, but what about standard cm7 ui? Do as you wish, I appreciate your work and wait for R2. When will it be ready?

I've installed the R2 version yesterday and it looks like it's working better, but the only problem I've seen is that at "about phone" menu it still says that it's the R1 version, even though I flashed the latest release.

Problems
Cannot install Google Play Services, same user ID as installed app error.
Lock screen does not always appear fast enough on screen on, can use phone a bit before it shows.
Power menu freezes phone if on lock screen
Cannot edit accounts on phone, prompts for adding.
Apart from those, great job

Also just a brief note, I think KitKat has way less space available than Jellysmart, can we maybe get a cleanup?

SLIM-ROM KK B01 - THE 4.4 Version

Hi folks, after long time i made finally a new slim-rom bassed on v1.1 B01- Kitkat update from 25.7
I modified a custom ROM from myzte.cn
ROM is smoother than 4.3
What I did:
* Deleted some useless Chinese apps
* changed original email, calculator app with the original google ones
* changed dpi to 445 , looks better in apps and it´s stable
* default language is set to English
* added Apollo music app / original music app is deleted
* added 4.4 camera app
* deleted Chinese zte browser and replaced by default android browser
* added CM launcher
What was moded by the Chinese:
* it´s ROOTED
BUGS:
- NO ART support
- Dolby digital don´t work
- let me know
What you will need:
1. the great ZTE s291
2. Installed Recovery - tutorial here: s291 ROOT and RECOVERY
3. free space on your sd- card
Install instructions:
1. Put slim_kk_s291.zip to root of your SD-card
2. Put google apps also to the root of the card - download: http://d-h.st/AeM
3. Turn phone off and boot to recovery (hold volume up + power button until it vibrates then hold only the volume up button)
4. Wipe data /factory reset
4. Install slim_kk_s291.zip
5. Install google apps
6. Reboot phone
7. Enjoy

That´s not so easy to change the settings app. And the widget problem is still there but you have now choice to use Mifavor , Google now and CM launcher , on all the widgets work fine.

This ROM is actually pretty awesome. All the bloatware was gone and I got to root my device!!! thx so much jozco looking forward to new roms from you

Yeah it´s better than the stock , but i think that the optimalization on our device it´s not so good ... in few games i got a lot of lags , in 4.3 not , but the system seems to be more smoother , we will se on 30.7 (Wednesday) when the next update will be out... Than I try to make another slim rom , hope it will be better than this. And write me what launchers do you use , i can put them in the next update and the widgets will work.

How change battery life compare to 4.3 ROMs?

I really like to use go launcher but I don't want to use it because it won't let me add any widgets. Now I just use the google launcher. Hopefully in your next ROM you can add go launcher.

Viper4android?
Has anybody tried out viper4android. On my 4.3 Rom (B10) it works. Only dolby low power feature somtimes disturbes.

widgets (in NovaLauncher) and GravityBox don't work on Your ROM. Do they work on Trebuchet?

I have sometimes FC on Gapps. Am I the only one? And on "Clock" and "Trebuchet".

I have the same issues. Trebuchet is very unstable. Stock launcher seems to be stable, but it is hard to personalize (icon sheme, start bar,...)

Use the google now launcher. It's pretty stable for me.

My root acces just disappear ! first time I see that !

I downgraded to the slim-Rom 08. With this one the antutu Benchmark went down from 32.000 to 27.000. And there were a lot of chinese apps still inside.

installation instruction
1. Take a full backup of data including pics and music whatever on the internal SD ( not really required but safety first )
2. download the system.rar and the attached script file
3. copy the system folder to internal SD card root ( copy including the system folder , dont just copy the img file )
4. make sure you have adb and the USB drivers and debugging enabled , and grant ADB root permission on the phone
5 run the script and sit back and relax for about 3-4 mins , once done
6 Reboot

if your phone gets in to a boot loop , do a hard reset ( volume down + power ) this is why i told u to take backup ( all though there are no custom roms at the moment so I am guessing you will be on stock rooted )

For those who feel volumes are very low on the Devices , please download the attached file and replace this file in the /system/etc and give permission 644 , use root browser or explorer.
make sure first you backupthe current file..
rename the download file to xml * remove the xap extension *

downloaded and installed wow that is the fastest way to install rom ever seen in my life
i will try it now and feed you with bugs

i can not do a hard reset every time do it the phone boot to software

hard reset is only if ur on a boot loop otherwse no

Did anyone tested this ROM, any opinions so far?

yea i did it is great and very very smooth but need more tweaks

hmm..is there any way i can put the clock back in the right corner where it belongs(up in the statusbar)? and someone sho install the rom.. can you provide some screenshots? i'm curious about the nav bar buttons. hmm..and again..is there any chance i can set the navbar buttons back to normal size?
seems a very nice rom , but i really hate small nav buttons and centered clock. :crying:

Finally some more love for the G Pro 2 phone. By the way, is this rom based on the new Indian firmware, just curious to know.

For both the problems just use the xposed modules and increase the nav bar height and the clock positioning

i replaced mixer_paths.xml.but after restart the phone wont boot to software i used root browser to replace the file
what should i do to fix this?

Did u set permissions right ?

Hello everyone This is my 2nd ROM that I m gonna share on XDA.. Since, Everyone is crazy about Material design ( including me ) But sad our s duos wont gonna recieve it... but this custom can give you feel of material design..It is based on stock ics rom BASEBAND VERSION- S7562XXBMJ1(maybe closer to it]
Features​
I Will show you ​Check Screenshots in post 3​INSTRUCTIONS TO FLASH​
Download Both Attachments from below
2. Move both files to ext SD card
3. Go to recovery Wipe data and cache
4. FlashL-Touch.zip
5. After that flash file.zip (I forgot to add these files in ROM so that's why I made separate file..so it must be done)
6. That's it reboot and enjoy your lollipop
7. [Update] please flash bugfix1 file download it from attachment
Important->]If google play services crashed then clear its data
BUG FIXES :- ​ BUG FIX1 :- Gmail and motionshoot deleted as both were crashing..Made WiFi icon small + new style signal in out and owner pic on statusbar DOWNLOAD bugfix1.zip from attachments

I install your rom and no have issues. I use kyleone oc kernel and I was have different baseband but now I go to settings and see XXBMJ1 baseband but I don't change my baseband to install the rom. I have some suggestions, I use same background to both sims and we don't have something to let us know what sim is selected an underline to the sim button at notification bar or a different color to signal icon it would be help! Another one is to change the pac performance app with performance control is more friendly and stable I think. And for default gallery add the quickpic very fast! And the the stock gallery use only to add wallpapers. If I have something more I will tell you! Thank you for the rom!

Woah man .. the screenshots looks awesome .. will try it on weekend when i will be free.
But from screenshots i have few questions ?
1. The statusbar doesnot seem completely transparent because i can see that u have tried few apps and the statusbar takes that apps color ?
2. The contacts menu looks good but can be better if you tone down some green like a kinda white small white line to seperate menus . But it looks good .
And do update this thread with the rom features like swapped sd cards .. etc etc ..

Great ROM, Was working great until i change the lcd screen density to 200 from build.prop then it got stuck in a bootloop( flashed again to fix). Can you make it so that the ROM would work with 200 lcd screen density as 240(default) is too much Thanks. Great Work.

@roamermak I have freeze the tinted statusbar apk with link2sd and no more color changes I do this because I can't understand what app's settings exactly do.
I think now after disable this the phone goes faster. The ram usage is hight and sometimes I have lag but is for a moment and the biggest time I am ok. Is a bug? Maybe..

I mean when I open an app and change the statusbar color the phone lags for a moment while try the tinted statusbar try to change to default color. And with link2sd I freeze the tinted statusbar app and now all the time I have black notification bar and no too much lags as before. I do this because I can't understand what the settings do and there isn't option to disable this future.

-Really a brilliant looking UI ROM ( as the name says L ROM ) . :good:
-So far very smooth and responsive . Not installed many apps so i will post a review of this ROM after a week maybe .

Like systemui stops unexpectedly.and do something for ram usage please.....

I freeze the tined statusbar and just never have systemui force stop. The big ram usage is the problem..

Please give ur first rom link

I think this is his first ROM
Is the memory usage really a problem? This thing looks really good though, if only we can combine this UI with the performance of PMP or Cosmic ROM. That would be awesome!
And yeah, it would be great if dev can post the features and enhancements of this ROM.
Anyway, good job on this! I'm downloading it right now. Keep developing it, dude! Cheers!
