Hey Guys,
I have decided to make my first game free, and post it here on XDA!
I currently live in South-Africa. This is the first game I have ever developed for Android, it was supposed to be a paid app, but Google Play doesn't support merchants from my country.
I have tested it on multiple devices (list below) and haven't found any major bugs, if you do happen to find one, bear with me.
You can contact me @ [email protected] or you could PM me.
Currently, the only major bugs include:
Incorrect scaling on some devices
Can't exit sometimes, requires you to press exit twice or force close app
Time in upper right corner is not yet localized.
That's it, not allot and I am working on them, though I am currently in school. In holidays I will be faster.
Devices on which it has been tested:
Samsung Galaxy S II
Samsung Galaxy S III
Samsung Galaxy S IV
Samsung Galaxy Note
Samsung Galaxy Note II
Samsung Galaxy Note III
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
Samsung Galaxy Ace
Samsung Galaxy Tab II 10.1
Asus Google Nexus 7 (not-2013)
This list will continue to grow as I get my hand on new devices. If you have tested it and can't find any bugs on a device other than mentioned above, please let me know and I will add it to the list (including your username)
Link: Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.HSDevelopment.Snakes
! --- Please note, Google Play version is outdated because I lost my Keystore file while switching PCs, use XDA download preferably --- !
APK Below if you don't use Google Play
Donate button coming soon, please tell me if you'd be willing to donate and help a brother out.
Also, don't be afraid so speak your mind in the comments. I could really use some suggestions.
Yours Sincerely,

Hello everyone , I'm new here on XDA !
Have I follow the forum some time ago and just now decided to become a member : D
I am Brazilian , please do not make fun of me and me being prejudiced because I am Brazilian.
Today I bring to many lovers of RTS GAME [ REAL STRATEGY ]
How to Play Starfront Collision in current devices , because you can not play because the game is not optimized for the new generation of devices and processors , so because of that the game is not playable !
I'm sure not only me as many who are advanced users and uses current device , ever had a headache for wanting to play a game and take it in to be ancient , it 's a lot of anger ..
Good enough delay haha ! Discovered a method of playing Starfront in current devices , it took me time to find how to do this , and I found these times and to share with you here to this method ok
Sadly the game does not work 100 % , it's now fully playable , what it is good for people like me who always wanted to play and not be plyable Starfront per game in gameloft be optimized and abandon the game and stop support for new devices : (
Over the bug that has some layout and intensities , does not disturb anything in the gameplay .
Unfortunately i do not have sony devices, htc, lg and among others and so do not know if this method works on other devices, for both those who want to test and comment on what had occurred, I would be grateful: D
That currently only tested this method on Galaxy s3 and s4 Galaxy and Galaxy note 1.
Most work the same in other current samsung devices, s3 up.
.....
Check out the video I made explaining how to Starfront work on my 3 Note [N9005] 4G
youtu.be /k5XffLT-LdY
In the video I used the note 3, most have a galaxy s3 and work well.
It works a miracle in my note 3 because of the high resolution and android 4.4
Bugs that occurred, to minimize the game it closes alone, and sometimes will give the force close anything anymore rarely
I hope you enjoyed this game, who can not enjoy.
Thank you all, and anything will be here to answer all your questions have ok.
Not working for me on Galaxy Note 2
I followed your instructions on my Galaxy Note 2, and I get errors when trying to download the data. Any ideas?
UPDATE: I spoke too soon. Despite the download errors, if you keep punching "yes" to download the files until it finishes, it eventually does finish and appears to be working! Awesome. This is the only working solution I could find. Thanks!
Confirmed. Working well on my Note 3 SM-N9005.
it keeps crashing on samsung S3
Video Private
it is telling me the video is private. Also can anyone confirm if the technique used works for the Samsung Galaxy S5 on kitkat?

Same problem here....
Could somebody please explain how you got it working?
Cheers
I'll second that request
Video is private - a post summarizing it would be most helpful and most appreciated
Dude awesome thing on going but I can't open the youtube link?
Hi, I'm not quite sure where to post this but any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am wanting to create a simple app which will show some information on the Samsung S6s edge panel, and so I am starting to try to get the samsung exmaple running.
I've developed android application before (some time ago), but looking through the Samsung documentation I am lost, i'm sure i'm not the only one.
**What I have tried so far**
I have downloaded the samsung look sdk here (dang, first post - I can't seem to link, but it's the samsung "Look" sdk.)
I can then import a project into eclipse from the samples called "EdgeScreenSampleApplication", and using android 19 I am able to compile it. However, I cannot run it on any emulator. I assume I need some special emulator to show the 'edge', but I cannot find one. When I run it on a Nexus emulator, I get:
[2015-03-21 21:01:33 - EdgeScreenSampleApplication] Installation error: Unknown failure
[2015-03-21 21:01:33 - EdgeScreenSampleApplication] Please check logcat output for more details.
[2015-03-21 21:01:33 - EdgeScreenSampleApplication] Launch canceled!
Now I am stuck, do I need a particular emulator? How can I get this thing running? I'd like to run it, then I can dig in to look at the code and see how it is working. Of course I do not have a Samsung S6 to test on as they are not yet released.
Hello.
Welcome to XDA Assist.
I don't think there is any emulator available for the Galaxy S6 Edge.
Even in the Look API video ,the app was tested on a Live device.
You can probably checkout Samsung's Remote test Lab feature to get access to some Samsung device remotely.
For better support you can sign up on forums and post in the App Development section .

Hi,
Thanks karandpr. I've signed up now. Unfortunately the Samsung mobile developer page won't actually let me sign up, whenever I try, the site gives an internal server error (error 500). I can only hope Samsung already know about that. I need a developer account to be able to try out the remote test lab (which looks fantastic and like exactly what I want).
Thanks for the reply, i'll wait a while and will try to sign up to the samsung page again, hopefully they'll fix it soon .
Thanks,
Steve
Thanks for signing up.

Hı dears!
I am using samsung Galaxy S3 Neo.
Thé problem is that the newly launched Microsoft Office for mobile is not compatible with multi-window feature of my phone, as I searched to solve the problem I found to reach Multi window manager pro to solve the problem. As I saw the post in your website, therefore I am writing to u on if you could provide me the App or guide me through another working one.
I tried to get the app from play store but due to region limitations it does not permit.
Thanks and I am looking forward to your kind reply on this regard.

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
There are a few MWM apps out there, all look specific to particular devices. I found one that is close (for the S3 proper):
> Samsung Galaxy S III I9300, I9305 > Galaxy S III Themes and Apps > [APP] Multi Window Manager 1.3.1
You can ask there (once you have registered for an account):
If it will work for the Neo
If there are options for your region
Hope this helps, and good luck!
Hello everyone,
I own a Gear S2 and a OnePlus One. I love both devices, but due to Samsung's idiotic app exclusives, some apps for Gear S2 (like Uber) are only available if you own a Samsung phone.
I know the geniuses here at XDA have been able to modify the Milk Music app (more here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-samsung-milk-music-1-5-1700013289-t3253484), but I was wondering if you could extend that same magic to the Galaxy Apps... app. (found here: http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsun...se/galaxy-apps-4-1-02-2-android-apk-download/)
Also, since my OPO is my daily driver, I really *really* would want to avoid rooting and changing my build.prop. Can anyone help the Gear S2 community out?
Hi Guys,
I have created this thread as I could not find any to discuss and share news about this new interesting feature (mentioned in the title) shown by Samsung at CES 2020.
In this demo video it can be seen from 0:33 that is being used on our beloved Tab S6. I can't wait to try it on any of my devices, but I think it could be the most useful on our tablets (or phones connected to DeX) if it works out well. I think they could add a virtual trackpad to it and using any stand you already have a quite good setup for everyday usage and also doing some business/educational stuff on the go (and at home of course)
Any opinions are welcomed and also any new information (release date/beta download) is appreciated!
