why i am getting this error. my computer at work works fine but my computers at home is not working. i have attached the error message and the programs that i have installed to make it work but no luck
Not that its much help but I'm experiencing the same problem on one of my computers as well. Hopefully someone has an answer to this?
Same problem here. It started after messing with .NET framework installations.
I tried to run it in Dependency Walker there were some strange things but I don't know.
One more experiment. I tried to rename the exe into "%APPNAME%.exe". (I was quite surprised Windows had no objections to such a filename) It didn't work. When run from Dependency Walker it ended with:
First chance exception 0xC00000FD (Stack Overflow) occurred in "%APPNAME%.EXE" at address 0x0043B10F.
Second chance exception 0xC00000FD (Stack Overflow) occurred in "%APPNAME%.EXE" at address 0x0043B10F.
After some googling I installed version 1.3 It has some nag screen but works.

I have install CABviaActiveSync 1.5 on my Vista and after i Right Click it's show an error message "Access to the path 'C:\Program Files\CABviaActiveSync\CABviaActiveSync.exeageye - G-Alarm' is denied.
Anyone know how to fix this?

right click on the CabViaActiveSync executable, go to properties and make sure you set it to 'run as administrator' and XPSP2 compatibility mode. This will fix any issues under vista.

Just install version 1.3 attached to an earlier post and you shouldn't have any further problems.

This works but it's not the real fix for it.
I have installed Win7 a few days and encounter also this problem

As the post says, one have to had the user to the permissions of the cabviaactivesync directory. I only had the Administrators group (witch my user is from) but that's not enough.
I did a lot of customization to my phone, so I can't possibly list all the programs I have. Last thing I remember doing was installing Opera Mini with a JAVA client (I think JBed). It kept crashing, so I uninstalled it.
Now whenever I go to run IE, I get this error message:
The file 'MortScript' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.

I've never explicitly installed MortScript before that message. I have since downloaded and installed MortScript from http://www.sto-helit.de/index.php?module=download&action=list&category=18 but it didn't solve the problem.

First, sorry if I put this in the wrong section but I have searched and cant seem to find an answer anywhere else.
Is anyone else having a problem getting QXDM to start up? I have had it on my computer for about 3-4 months now and have used it a few times (Last time I remember for sure using it was about 3 weeks ago) I tried to use it today and I get an error after the little QXDM box pops up in the middle of my screen now. The error reads "Error initializing DIAG server" I tried uninstalling the program and re-installing but that does not help either. I am pretty sure it is version 3.09.19, is it maybe an old outdated version now?? Does anyone have a link to a newer one if that is the case? I just can't think of anything I have done to my computer recently that would have caused this problem? Does know what caused this and can help me fix it please?

Hello, I'm new to this site. I recently Bricked my phone and restored using the Lgnpst and now i'm at 000-000-0000... i've read just about every forum and have installed QPST and QXDM. when I try to run QXMD i get the DIAG Server Error.. I see someone has figured a way around this issue.. If you can help me I'd greatly appreciate it..

Got it finally... for some reason QPST needs to be installed in the Qualcomm directory also on my pc. But I got it working now.

I am trying to use QXDM to repair my cell phone. I jut reinstalled it today and when I try to run it I get this message: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item". I am the admin on my computer and have also tried to run the program as admin but still get the same message. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Copy the BIN folder from the QXDM to the desktop and try opening that from there.

I am also facing the same problem while launching the QXDM tool.
when small pop window of QXDM appears after that i get the error as Error initialising the DIAG server

Running as administrator actually giving the problem. If i click it straight way, it opens but fields are greyed out in NV browser.

Managed to run QXDM without administrator privileges and get the fields in NV browser to become editable, provided that QPST has connected to the target port (not port that keeps switching and cause phone to reboot repetitively. This previous condition was fixed by flashing another Android 4.1.2-based ROM over the previous 2.3.5-based ROM). Learnt that the editable value in "Input" column becomes editable with a 3-click command from mouse.
I am facing issue with I can try qxdm installation but once running it, it is showing qxdm tool is already installed. If u know any one please help me quickly and ASAP.

Running windows 7 64bit home premium. Trying to open heimdall.exe and get the error- "The program can't starte because MSVCP110.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
Installed c++ redistributive for 64 bit system, no luck. Tried to reinstall and chose repair installation. Restarted after each attempt. Searched for the .dll and found it was still not installed on my computer. Tried to manually download and copy to the System32 file and SysWOW 64 folders. Tried running regsvr32 from cmd prompt but get error that it failed to load.
Have been searching for a solution but everything I have come across was either a different issue or was resolved in one of the steps above. Any info or suggestions is greatly appreciated.
Since re-installing doesn't work, you can try finding a copy of that dll file online and putting it in C:\WINDOWS\System32. It may be that your copy has a problem.
I'm a linux user and needed to flash samsung galaxy mini 2.
I tried heimdall and heimdall-frontend, but neither worked for me.
I now run a virtual machine with windows to run odin3..
Could it be that heimdall is not compatible with my phone?

If installed vcredist_x64 try to ALSO install vcredist_x86.
Worked for me with the MSVCP110.dll missing Error!
Probably the .dll is only in the x86 library.
