In 4.4.2, moving apps to SD is all buggered up. I just went out and got a 32gb card thinking I could move my 1+GB games to it.

Are you talking about for FM? I never had to enter a path. Just do the apps analyzer and then create the pairs and let FM do all of it automatically. If this isn't what you are asking then please elaborate.

I figured it out. I thought you had to make the paths manually. Didn't even notice the app analyzer. Purchased the premium version so I can move all my games! Thanks, man!

Check out the Play Store. There are tons of apps out there that will allow you to transfer apps to your SD card. Titanium Backup has a batch setting to move all user apps to SD Card (not sure if you need PRO or not)
You are very confused about my question huh

Skyrocket detects external 32gb microsd card, but won't be read by...

I just recently purchased a 32gb class 10 micro sd card for my skyrocket, and it works perfectly fine.
The only issue i have is that the microsd card won't be read unless i use a file manager such as astro.. Apps like gallery or mxplayer won't read the microsd card.
This didn't happen with the 16gb class 4 micro sd card, so what is happening?
Anyway to fix this issue?
Thanks

Are you running any kind of custom ROM I would try formatting via PC with a different format if that fail go back to stock and see if it does the same thing if it does maybe something wrong with SD coding don't see any reason it would partially work

Interesting..
Btw when i ran media scan it says sd card is "usb storage". Not "external sd".... Could this be the reason?

Mini Tools Partition Wizard is the program to use if you are on windows. Use it to format the card to fat32 primary. If that doesn't do it replace the card.

Is there anyway to make the paths so the phone can determine its correct location?
Could it be the difference in size of the card itself too?

Fat32 primary cant even be seen on the phone....
When I reformat back with android, it works fine, other than the issue of not showing the files in apps, unless using a file manager.

Yes, i am rebooting.
Only issue is that to view images in apps like gallery or mxplayer, the folder has to be on the root of the sdcard. Before i had a group of folders in one, and now it won't let me do this.
Am i possibly naming folders wrong?

sd card

So I just got a SD card an I tried to move app2sd an it says this device don't have a external storage? Could so,Rome please explain if you would be so kind..1st Samsung device always have HTC an Asus. Never had any problem like this on those that's why I'm confused.
My understanding is that Samsung (hardware thing so not fixable) prevents apps2sd for external SD on most devices. I think there is a workaround involving linking the ext to int folders.

Storage issues

Hi, (see attached picture) I know that even though my nexus is a 16gb model there is actually only 13gb available....but what I do not understand is why do I only have 500mb free when apps and pictures and other things only take up 5gb in total. So 12gb - 5gb is 7gb..... So where has my 7gb gone when my phone is only stating 500mb?

give it a check out at least, nandroids can take 3-4gb data storage easily. also, the app disk usage, its pretty damn good with helping you find whats taking your storage.

This is all really basic stuff. You've been in these forums a while now. I think you really need to read all the sticky threads in my signature before you do any more modifications to your phone because you don't seem to have picked up much all this time. Not trying to be offensive... Buy this stuff is easy and you should / need to know it.

yea, can flash right over, no data will be lost. if it doesn't work the first time, flash it again. but @rootSU is right, at least philz can restore your old cwm backup.
