BootImgInstaller is an easy to use tool that can be used to change bootanimation.zip easily. You will need superuser installed. Currently tested on HTC Leo and HTC HD mini. You do not need to rename the bootanimation.zip since the tool does this for you.

1. Run BII_Setup.exe
2. Install (Run BootImgInstaller as Administrator!)
3. Click Browse and find your bootanimation
4. Click Install
5. Let the phone reboot

1. Extract downloaded zip.
2. Run 'RunMe.bat'
3. Type 'y' to agree
4. Drop the bootanimation.zip you want to have, into PutYourBootHERE folder
5. Choose your mode to start the phone in (option 4 -copy)
6. Follow the on-screen instructions
7. Let it finish

1. If your adb dosen't find your phone install 'x86' driver witch is included!
2. The install process dosen't start at the first time you hit "Install" then just re-run the application and repeat the procedure.
3. For the GUI version download the 'tool.zip' (xtract) and replace with previous 'tool.bat' to fix bugs! Download in the attachments.

by the way, I just mixed it with Flow-Wolf's Unlock, S-OFF ,Root. This topic

- Install Android SDK
- Uninstall ALL HTC from your computer. (HTC Sync, for first! )
- Install Attached HTC Drivers (need to reboot your computer!)
- get the latest control bear from the official site download the "windows Ice cream sandwich" one ("windows Gingerbread" one if on gingerbread )

- unzip folders.
- Make Android folder on your pc ( mine is: C:\Android )
- Open SDK tool and install Android SDK Platform Tools and Android SDK Tools (Please update it if your SDK version is r11).
- After you installed look in \android-sdk-windows\platform-tools for 4 file: adb.exe | AdbWinApi.dll | fastboot.exe | AdbWinUsbApi
- Copy the files to Andorid folder.
- Copy the temp_root.bat and temp_root_remove.bat to the same folder.
- Restart your PC to ready for the progress.

- Back up all!!
- Remove and reinsert the battery
- Go to bootloader ( volume down + power on)
- Select factory reset
- DO NOT TOUCH IT, just let it reboot.
- When rebooted skip the Installation tutorial, don't set anything.
- Uncheck Fastboot ( Menu / Settings / Power )
- Check USB Debugging ( Menu / Settings / Dev Options )

- Conenct your phone to the PC via USB cable and select HTC Sync.
- Run the temp_root.bat
- Follow the commads.
- Do NOT TOUCH the device.
- When finished corerctly go to the next paragraph.
Juopunutbear S-OFF:

- Remove the back from your phone, you must unplug your phone to do that.
- Replug the phone
- Run the ControlBear
- Follow the commads on the screen.
Wire trick:
- take a cable!
- Press the cable on the sdcard protection during 0.5sec, release during 1.75sec press again during 0.5sec.
2 possibilities:
It doesn't work:
1 - Your phone do not restart. Try again
2 - Your phone restart, but stay on the same Juopunut Bear screen. You have an Error Code.
Close the cmd command and run the controlbear.exe again
It works:
Your phone restart. And the CMD said it's done.
- Follow the instuctions on the screen!

use Ganeshp's guide to S-OFF
check if you have take care all of the prerequisites that need(htc drivers,sdk tools)
also enable usb debugging mode from settings
use 2.0 usb ports not 3.0
check all these things and start again the procedure

In normal mode is 1234567890ABCDEF and MSM7625ASKU3 in fastboot mode.

Fast Boot mode
Download the fastboot binary here. Boot your device into fastboot by pressing the key combination for your device. (Google 'your_device_name key combination enter fastboot mode' to know the key combination for your device or ask someone at xda in your device's section. Generally, it is power up + camera button. Whatever the key combination is, first switch off the device, then press those keys simultaneously till the screen lits up.) :good: :highfive:

no its not pre rooted ...its stock and official rom by mmx ...jus follow sp tools procedure.

It is better you flash with SP tool.

bro...if u are directly downloading the JB rom to your device, as mentioned in the tutorial, then u have to press download button.
but if u have already downloaded the stock rom and want to install it, press firmware upgrade

The first link is the ROM file I am referring to. Just extract and open it. Btw I sold the phone today for 7k. I wont be replying here anymore. Cya guys! Good luck with the development here. The phone was too big for me to carry. There's no other defect.

In the given screenshot, the wifi icon looks different than other jelly bean releases. Can some one confirm if it is really different?

Method 1:
Before Installing the KitKat Follow These Steps.
1. Download MTK Droid Tool From Here
2. i9 must be rooted and USB debugging must be enabled before you proceed.
3. Attach the cell phone with data cable and run mtk droid tool as admin.
4. When device got loaded press the root button and grant root access on cell phone.
5. Click on IMEI/NVRAM button and click on backup.
6. Now in case after flashing u lost IMEI follow the same steps but now click on restore.
Method 2 (In Case No IMEI Backup):
1.Be patient and it will fix your imei
2.Download the IMEI_WINDOWS.zip from here
3.Extract the contents to C:\Users\Username (Current User)
4.Open command promp and cd to the IMEI_WINDOWS folder
5.Now type "imei.exe 123456789111111 123456789111111" without quotes
6.Just replace both the 15 digit numbers with your IMEI 1 and IMEI 2 respectively
7.Now a file named "MP0B_001_NEW" will be generated in your IMEI_WINDOWS folder
8.Just rename it to "MP0B_001"
9.Now download the IMEI_FLASHABE.zip from here
10.Extract this zip and go to "/data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI/"
11.Delete the placehere file and paste your "MP0B_001" file here
12.Now zip the META-INF and data folder and flash it with recovery
13.You have to flash this after you see imei error on your 1st boot
14.Don't flash directly after the ROM, just do your first boot then flash it.

7.Download and Flash FILE_MANAGER.zip to remove error in the File Manager. :good:
8.If no engineering mode in your cell phone then download engineermode.apk and copy/paste in system app via Root Explorer

Use it only on MMX KitKat Release and on Custom ROM based on MMX. Not with MyPhone KitKat Release.
Step 1: Download "Internal APP storage (4GB MMXKK).zip" from bellow
Step 2: Extract the file
Step 3: Open SP Flash tools
Step 4: Add scatter file
Step 5:Select EBR1 and EBR2
Step 6: Click on Download
Step 7:Remove the battery from your Canvas 2 colors
Step 8:Connect your phone to pc via data cable
Step 9:wait for the completion of Flashing Process
Step 10:Reboot your Phone
Step 11ull down Notification panel and tap on the msg "Damaged Internal SD card"
Step 12: Tap on Format ...
Now Enjoy 2.1 GB app storage with 410MB Mass storage....

Firmware Download
1. First of all download the required files.
2. Install Tinno Driver.
3. Extract All Zips. 1 file is missing in the firmware zip which is attached below named secro.img, add it in the firmware folder before proceed.
4. Run the Flashing Tool as admin (Right Click on the file and click on run as admin)
5. Select Scatter Loader from the firmware, wait till all files to load.
6. Select Firmware Upgrade.
7. Power off the cell phone and remove battery.
8. Now click on download and attach the cell phone without battery to data cable.
9. Wait till flash. You are done. :laugh:
10. Enjoy Stock JellyBean.

Have you tried using titanium backup, go backup or lucky patcher after root genius because when i earlier flashed kitkat these apps weren't working and i had to revert back to jelly bean.
Edit: Thanks brother, all these apps are working after root genius. You've solved a big problem for me.

root genius failed.....when I flash CWM recovery it says PMT changed for rom

I alreay told in the post that flash the recovery with the ROM by replacing the included recovery

Is there any superuser app in the app drawer?

If yes then it is rooted dont worry u can confirm it with the lucky patcher and titanium backup

Yes, there is and I reflashed the zip file again and its resolved and root checker is happy with it

So r u happy with this easy and proper root?

Also comment about the easiest IMEI backup method

if any one want to increase App storage which is almost 700 MB see first post
Use it only on Official KitKat and 2nd Custom ROM. Not with 1st custom ROM or with Official Leak on 1st Post.
