[Q] i9003 bricked

hello everybody
can anybody help with my problem
i have i9003 device its bricked i tried to fix it with riff box
the problem when am trying to connect i9003 board to usb the computer detect the omap 3630 for about 2 seconds and disappear
i removed the usb cable and plug it again but nothing happens so i removed the battery and replug it again and the same problem appears detects omap 3630 for 2 seconds and disappear.
any one have the same problem and fix it before ?
please i need help

we repair i9003 with ODIN. Whats the problem of your device?

bro kindly tell what is the status of your phone before the problem occured and also tell what did you do to your device that caused it to behave that way

the problem is my i9003 is off nothing appear on screen after install new firmware
the phone is totally off :S

Which firmware did u installed and what was ur battery condition.

i dont remember the firmware version and the battery condition is fully charged
ppl please am just asking about the condition of the board when its connected to the pc via usb its appears in device manager as omap 3630 for 2 seconds and disappear
anybody passed in this situation before??????????
is mean that board damaged for that its not taking power or what ???

did you flash using odin??
charge your phone for one hour then take out battery and leave it like that for 5 min. put battery back, press the keys you press for download mode after starting odin and connect your phone. let me know if it shows com#0 or com#6 there
sometimes display goes blank because of glitches in firmware upgrade but they still work. so if it shows on odin then flash it with new software and please don't play around with .pit file. its one of the main reason for bricking your phone.
get updated software from sammobile.com or samsung-updates.com
whatever file you get, unzip it and load it in pda

I'll check it today and give you feedback of results

Galaxy Tab 2 hard brick

Hi guys,
i have Galaxy Tab 2 hard bricked. Can't turn it, nothing happens when trying to turn on or charge. Absolutely dead. It is dead after i've tried to enable swap on rooted device.
Please help me

Wat was ur last ROM stock or else?
Did u tried it to connect in download mode to PC?

When plugged in to a computer, does it recognize it?
Does ODIN recognize it?

It was stock ROM. I've installed only cwm-root-gtab2a and GT-P5100_ClockworkMod-Recover - this files. And all was fine.
I can't turn it to download mode.
When i tried to connect to PC i hear sound like device attached and from 3-5sec I hear 'device unattached' sound. This device is 'TI board'

My Galaxy Tab 2 is P5100. It is rooted and works fine until i've tried to tweak swap via Swapper 2.
After i've installed this app i've tried to tweak my device and reboot it. so my tab is turned off and i can't enable it.
I've installed drivers and saw 'omap 4430' device in Windows. It appears when i connect my tab via usb cable at hold power button.

Now u connect it to Odin ....did the Odin software recogniz or tab
If yess u can reflash the all things....

It can't be turned on in recovery/download mode so it is not visible in ODIN.

Tab should be turned on in download mode for flash via ODIN. But I can't enable it in download mode.
What happens when i connect Table to PC - I can see 'OMAP 4430 USB device' in Windows device manager. But this device is not visible and not accessible with ODIN. Nothing happens with my tablet - display is blanc, no backlight, ... :crying:

No, battery was full-charged.
And i've plugged to charger and hold it with connected charger for 5 hours tonight - nothing, it is dead

riff box is the only way

Unfortunately I'm sorry to say but when to get that omap message the tablet or phone IS in fact hard bricked and is not recoverable by anything here at xda. Samsung may be able to fix it but you are probably Better off just getting a new tab man because it'll cost just as much.
I know it's hard to hear that and it really sucks.
I almost bricked this tablet too and just had to give up on it for a while because it was so frustrating. I finally found the fix.
A couple months ago these guys were posting the wrong recoveries and root files and not labeling them correctly. So you have to be real careful with this stuff because s alot of them don't know what's going on.

1. authorised Samsung center proposed me to change board for 350$
2. i have contacts with unofficial master and he proposed me to replace internal memory card - from broken Tablet for 150$
But I've been looking for another solution and when came to service for replace internal flash memory (2 weeks ago) - they didn't have it.
So I've put it on the shelf and bought another Tablet - it is not Samsung, it is repairable device )))

I was using PAC 18
I just plugged in the charger like usually I do and the went to sleep
but when i got up and cheked the phone
it didn't turn on

try connecting ur phone with pc and check if its being detected by ur pc or not.
if not seems like u have bricked ur device. (dont worry, this happened many times with me and our device is very easy to unbrick).

Do you have an usb jig? If yes, connect it and see if it turns on. As for connecting to pc, see if phone is detected by odin.
If possible, Try another battery.

it doesnt even show samsung logo that appears before bootanmanion

Try connecting phone with PC in APX mode and if its being connected then you can perform unbricking process. (For how to do it? and more info. Refer tut in my sig).

nope it plugs in there like it should
I tryed to connect to pc, jig and another charger still nothing happens

its great, now u can do unbricking process or can give to SSC, they will fix it for free

Don't worry buddy.. Ssc will change motherboard for you.. I had this issue too.. Phone unexpectedly turned off and just refused to turn on.. Since its in warranty you'll not have to pay anything..

Try reinstating flashtool drivers. Then maybe fastboot will work. Otherwise hard brick.
You might still give for servicing but may have to pay service charges

My phone is stuck what people say "Qualcomm Diagnostic Mode"

If flashtool inacsessible = hard brick = service = must pay
Try everything you can for flashtool otherwise hard brick.

There are unbrick threads that deal with this using jtag with repairman help and other stuff that goes over my head, I think this can be called hardbrick

Samsung SL I9003

Hi all,
Please help... I tried to flash my SL I9003 and somehow the connection broke in between.
Now the mobile doesnt power on and when connected to the laptop, I just see the processor getting recognized and then disappears. within 2 seconds.
I tried with USB Jig but nothing happens.
Any ideas?
Please help. I dont want to loose this phone dead.

Does Odin recognize the phone? I mean, with Odin on, press volume down + power, connect it to the laptop and see if the phone goes into download mode so Odin could recognize it (COM status shown)

take out the battery. put back in and get into download mode if possible. if not, to the service center you should bring it..

you are sure that you are in the right section ?
If not you COME to burn your motherboard
The only solution, samsung service center with your operator
If longer supported you still have to flash the board with a Jtag repair tools Professional equipment
You shook minimum 60 € without success if really toasted your motherboard

@kralin, the phone doesnt get recognized using the odin. doesnt startup and no lights and no logo. I have installed the processor drivers in my windows 7 laptop and when connecting the phone, it recognizes the processor for 2 seconds and disconnects.
@imjustafq, this was the first step when I thought I bricked my phone but to no use.
@LoLaTiOn, dont worry about the username. I am in the right section.
I tried to check with Samsung center and they said they dont know what to do. not tied with any operator though..
