Assuming you are using your TF sans dock.....
the only slots you have are mini HDMI and Micro SD.
Are there such things as mini-HDMI and Micro SD adaptors to USB which would allow use of thumb drives?
Alternative methods of file transfer? - Bluetooth? WiFi P2P?
there will be a dock to usb connector in the future (like apple connection kit)
Think I need a mini HDMI to HDMI cable, a Micro USB OTG adapter and I should be sorted. Optionally could add a USB hub to allow me to use a USB to Ethernet adapter and a couple of other USB devices (such as a keyboard, mouse).
blah
I've tried a few different otg cables and none seem to recognise the sd card reader. Is there a setting I need to enable to get it working?
Thanks in advance.

I don't have an sd card reader handy, but my fat32 usb key works fine for both reading and writing, although I had to use File Commander as EStrong File Explorer incorrectly states that it supports FAT32 and NTFS; it doesn't.
Sony Xperia Z3 USB OTG
I can confirm that with the Nexus Media Importer app, the Sony Xperia Z3 can read & write to NTFS file systems. I have a USB OTG "Y" cable (a female micro USB port for extra power). Without the paid app though, the Z3 can only read exFAT and FAT32 file systems, stating the NTFS as an "unsupported file system". As an added bonus, the smartphone is able to charge itself if you charge it by the magnetic port! I have a Deff magnectic adapter. Another device that can power an external USB OTG device while charging itself is my Google Nexus 5 with a special USB OTG "Y" adapter.
Hi, I wanna use my micro USB OTG to my phone with USB type C adapter. But if I connect it, sometimes not detect. The OTG will detect after reboot. Any solution? sorry for my bad English and thanks.
Can the Fujitsu F-07C'S Micro USB connection be used for data transfers, for example with a Micro USB to USB A adapter?
Thanks
