first of all, sorry for my bad English, try to be as clear as possible
Accidentally i flash a rom in system 1 with bmm..... a warning appeared when I rebooted the phone
"bmm menu would not be available in the next reboot" then I went to the system keeper option and reinstall bmm ..... when i tried to reboot the phone the same message appeared on the screen again .... "bmm menu would not be ..."
then i decided to flash ics stock (as I always do when i have a problem) , i put the phone in ap FastBoot .. Select the firmware and started the rsd process
all ended well ... unplug the phone and restart
ohh surprise! ... The phone does not boot, i cant even see the motorola logo, the phone just stuck there
Additional detail: this is the first time i flash firmware after losing my cid
Can someone help me?
Thanks in advance

i dont know what else i can do :crying:
I've been thinking about buying a nexus 4 ... maybe it's time to do it.

Try Factory Reset and Clear Cache from Stock Recovery.
I've tried that too, but nothing happens ...
Again I clarify the symptoms:
Point 1 - When the phone starts, shows the motorola logo and the message "Error CustomerID Contact Dealer Boot to Suspend / MDCT mode: 0000:00000000:000000 cc.". Then the screen gets black and nothing happens
Point 2-If I turn on the phone by holding down the volume keys (+ / -) and the power button (boot mode selection menu) and select any of the options ... the screen goes black and nothing happens
Point 3 - If I turn on the phone by holding down the volume key (-) and the power button (ap fastboot flash mode) ... I can connect the phone, start and finish the flashing process correctly. When the process ends it happens again point 1 or point 2
It may be a hardware failure?

Last, but not the least, I hope you are using the correct FXZ file for your region?
EDIT
@mithun23
after flashing attempt number six:
I could enter the bp tools mode, the phone boot, and it works. What i can do in this mode?
Why I still can not boot normally?

Good man u booted...
Well since ur cid is lost u cannot boot normally..u can boot only using bp tool.
Install bmm from Google play..then u will be able to boot normally.

I installed bmm, but there is a problem ... boot menu manager requires root ...
when I try to root the phone, the process automatically restarts the phone and gets stuck on the motorola logo (since it no longer resets normally) ... then the root process can never be completed :crying:
I will continue doing more tests
when the phone starts normally, something similar to the root process of jelly bean leak happens ...
the method for jelly bean leak was something like this (the swapp method):
1 - the phone began in ap fastboot mode
2 - using a command line, the ics boot.img sends to the phone
3 - then the phone is unplugged from the usb cable and restarted
4 - the phone boots and gets a black screen
5 - plug the phone to the usb cable again and run the root tool for ics
5 - the phone restart 3 times (the root process is done)
6 - restart the phone in ap fast boot again
7 - using a command line, the jelly bean boot.img sends to the phone
8 - restart the phone and all is done
so....what is happening with my atrix 2 is something like step 4, is like boot.img is missing or corrupted
SOLVED : I boot using bp tools, then i found a root method that works , finally i get my phone rooted...so i've installed bmm and booted fine again....thx to those who takes the time to answer in this post

If BMM is not appearing at startup, then FXZ is only option !!
FXZ (with your region)---->>root--->> install BMM---->> flash ROM.
Watch BMM video tutorial available in general section, for proper BMM usage

Hi i have a question maybe someone can help?
I'm Having problems with my Xt720 stuck at M logo at boot up. I tried flashing it back to Stock CBW rom following reverendkjr's instructions to the T. after i allow Rsd to go through the Processes, and it says its rebooting phone i give it time to adjust, but still stays on M logo. Rsd is telling me to Please manually power up this phone. I don't know what else to try? I cant do a hard reset either.. Can someone help Please
Have you tried to take out your SD card and reboot the phone again?
I was hit with same issue last time due to a bad SD card.
Alternatively you can try to reflash without a SD card.
yes, i've tried both ways, but no luck either way?

exactly the same thing happened to me...
I flashed froyo, was playing a few hours, and after firing flash phone was frozen and then I got bootloop
I was flashing phone with many different sbf's and nothing helped except official moto service center...
Use RSD lite above 4.9 Version, Download a sbf file for xt-720,go to boot loader and run the sbf file from Rsd lite. Your phone should start working.
if you are able to reach openrecovery, or some other way to access the phone internals,You may turn adb debugging during boot.
So if you have somewhat access to the phone to turn on ad debuging you have to
kill the usbd process ( pkill usbd if busybox is new enough)
then
Code:
echo "msc_adb" > /dev/usb_device_mode
You have to "integrate" that in your startup scripts.
Then issue "adb logcat" . The adb will wait for the phone and will start logging as soon as possible . When that happens, we will be able to adb shell to the phone, even if the display show just some static logo...
If you are not able to access the phone internals, other possibility exists, but requires to be able to fastboot the phone. Then custom initramfs can be prepared, which will include the above early adb enabling .
enabling adb taked from here:

have in mind of this issues (not a big deal, at least for me)
http://code.google.com/p/cyanogenmo...atus Priority Version Summary Stars&start=100
I tried following cyanogen wiki on an Inspire 4G. It didn't work and gave "Incorrect Model ID" error.
So I switched to use Hack-Ace tool. Everything worked as expected and I guess I was going good. When Hack-Ace completed, the phone went into an infinite look showing HTC logo then blind to a black screen with background light ON.
I could ADB and reboot in bootloader where I clashed the CM7 ROM. Every step went through fine and it restarted. Now all I get is nothing.
The device shows the HTC Logo on white screen after leaving a while and the vibrator is ON constantly. It doesn't help really but keeps doing that. It will only stop if I remove battery.
Plugging the device into USB doesn't detect on PC.
When tried charging, it shows the error messages and nothing happens, no buttons interact.
I guess I have a full brickd phone now

You font nerd recovery with that file. Just out it on the root if your sdcard. Meaning not in any folder and boot into bootloader...not recovery then it will recognize the file then just follow onscreen instructions

Dude download the PD98 file above it is the rooted updated gingerbread ROM. Place it in the root of your SD card (you will have to remove SD card and use adapter to move zip file to root of SD card if PC does not recognize phone with USB cable) and power phone off then power back up holding down power button and volume down button at same time. Phone should go to bootloader then it will recognize the PD98 zip file and ask if you want to istall. Volume up for yes and it will do its thing. No need to try to get into recover phone will do it itself with the PD98 zip file. Zip is (ATT ROM 2.47.502.7 w/Radio - 26.10.04.03_M)

I installed the Supercharged Atrix V5 on my Atrix 2 and it works fine for two days. Than i installed the v5 update 2 and started facing force close issues.
I read the thread and downloaded the second larger file which is said to be restored in case of force close issues. I installed that also but even than faced the force close issues regularly.
So i thought to go back to Stock ROM through Fastboot Files. I tried to restore through RSD Lite but I got an error message saying "Flashing Failed".
And from than onwards whenever I restart my Atrix 2, i got a black screen of AP Fastboot and on top written "Flash Failure".
So every time i have to turn it off and than uses Three Button Method to go to normal powerup and than my phone starts with V5 loaded.
I don't know how to resolve this problem coz even factory resetting or any other method won't work for resetting it back to stock ROM.
Kindly help me out in resolving this flash failure issue.
Thanks in advance....

well do u guys have the right drivers installed? because i got a flash failure. but it was because my dog ate through my cord...
so went to walmart and got a cheap one and needed to install the right drivers. sadly i couldnt cause my phone was dead and i had soft bricked it. so i through it in the toilet and got a new one from best buy insurance! its bull... but whatever.
my advise is see how everything is connected and see if u have the right drivers. then flash the fxz file. also make sure u have the right fxz...
try the restore to stock script that is here somewhere, works wonders for me.
Hi man, I had the same problem but restored my phone without any problem... Can you explain in which step does the RSD lite flash say Flashing failed??? I mean, whenever RSD lite says flashing failed it'll quote the file that failed to flash. So I need you to quote the flashing failed error completely to resolve the issue
I'm using a Mac so I've been doing everything through terminal instead of using RSD. Perhaps I should find a Windows computer somewhere and do a restore from it? My phone works fine, it's just every time I turn it on it opens into fastboot but has the "Flash Failure" message across the top, and no S-off despite my phone being successfully rooted.

I believe Rom Toolbox isn't good for much, if anything. I'm not sure why changing or downloading themes in this app could cause you to bootloop, but if it has you need to run a 'return to stock' 2.3.5 script by booting into AP Fastboot or use RSD Lite. OTA update to 2.3.6, re-root, and you should be good.
Everything you need to know is found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1396650
Also, going forward, ALWAYS make a CWM Backup before doing anything, like flashing roms or experimenting with root apps.

There is no reason why the aforementioned suggestion shouldn't have worked. Couple things to keep in mind:
Do you have a fully charged battery when doing all this?
Do you have the Motorola USB drivers installed?
Did you DL the proper fxz for your phone?
Make sure you boot into fast boot by holding up on the volume rocker, and then holding the power button down.
Attach your USB cable to the BACK of your com, and follow the instructions listed out in the link in the post above.
Follow them exactly!

Before using the restore script you need to install the USB drivers for your MB865 (If this your model A2), you can get those from HERE:
Next, unzip the Return to Stock 2.3.5 Fastboot SCRIPT.zip to anywhere you like in your pc (example: C:\RestoreScript\ ) The script can be downloaded HERE:
Then, connect your phone with the USB cable to the PC and get into FastBoot mode for this in your phone by pressing and holding down the volume down & volume up & power at the same time. It should appear with a screen and some options; use the volume down key of your phone to navigate through the menu until you see the AP FastBoot option, then enter by pressing the volume up key, this will show you some messages and the finally it should said USB connected.
Then open the folder where you extracted the Return to Stock 2.3.5 FastBoot SCRIPT files and search a .bat file call "Stock Restore" - should be toward the bottom of the files in this folder. Then run the file (double click on it) and it should open a command prompt screen with some instructions if the phone is connected correctly and you installed the drivers correctly then in some point the screen will show you the ID of your device and it will wait you to press the enter key to start the process. Press any key to enter and wait for the process to begin to program. Then, after some time the command prompt window will give you a message saying its finished. After that, it will reboot your phone and install the stock 2.3.5. When it boots up again, you should see the android logo and a progress bar filling up.
When it's done wait for the device to reboot again, and after that you can OTA (Over-The-Air) update to Android version 2.3.6. by navigating in your device to Settings/About Phone/System Updates.
Hope this helps.

so true. My record is 29 softbricks in one day.
Also, install CWM on boot!
This way your phone ALWAYS boots into recovery on initial start up. Saved me too many times to count.

Or certain roms already have it.

I don't have time to get into development yet, and I still make sure I put that on...just a lifesaver if something goes wrong!
So i did my best to do my own research and downloaded all the files listed in [HOW-TO] Unbrick your soft bricked Galaxy S III on this forum and i haven't gotten very far. The phone will only get up to the splash screen and goes nowhere from there. I plug it in and it recognizes the phone and loads drivers and when i open ODIN 3 it detects it under the ID:COM port. But when i try and flash the "VARALEC.bootchain.tar.MD5" file it goes from "file analysis " to "setup connection" then stops. Any advice or help please?
boot screen, sorry.
Judging from your post, you're not in download mode. Anytime you use Odin, your phone must be in download mode:
1) Turn your phone off completely
2) Hold Power button, Volume Down, and Home until the phone boots on and vibrates
3) Now you're in Download mode

So got past that part and got to the flashing. Flashed the bootloader first which passed then i tried to flash the unzipped Stock.vzw_root66.tar. twice so far it's given me a fail. I downloaded the torrent from scratch each time. Thoughts? Thanks for your help with that first step.

MD5 sum matches too...
first off why are you flashing a bootchain? that should only be used if your device is truly softbricked...meaning, it will not boot even after flashing back to stock with odin. also try the links in my guide(section 6). flashing the bootchain should only be a last resort because if something goes wrong during flashing, your device could hard brick.
