Ok so the gear 2 . I noticed the battery meter. Doesn't update . Is 100% says is 100 % all the time . .what would be the fix . ?any one got the same problem

I can't say I've noticed any weird battery glitches. First few things I could suggest is start by shutting down/restarting the watch, just to see if that fixes it. Next couple things to test would be to let the watch go on as long as possible to do a full charge cycle a couple of times. Maybe someone else has another suggestion. Beyond those, if it became an issue I would assume you could always claim warranty and get it replaced, as that's not how a battery meter should work...
I have had the watch since day one and been like that . It's starting to bother me coz all of a sudden after 3 days it would just die . When I plug it in it would charge from zero percent. I just did a couple of restarts . Factory reset same issue . I guess I'm going to best buy when they open up

How come you haven't went to the shop you bought it from? I couldn't cope having the same issue from day one.

I once caught the battery indicator jumping from 57% to 60% a little while after disconnecting it from the charger.

Yes. Same everything. Tried calibrating battery. Everything that drains is off. Is it a faulty unit?

There its always a chance
If your phone last 8-10 hrs then no you can improve by playing around. If it last like 5 hrs and you have calibrated and have gone through a couple bat cycles then maybe there is an issue.

so i have had The TB since 4\5 and i got the Extended Battery the next day i charged it up the Second Night to use on the Third Day and everthing was going great unplugged at 7:30 around 11 am i had to restart my phone i had checked the battery % just before restart it was at 89% once the phohne came up it said 77% i was like mayybe a problem withe battery went on with day around 3 pm i restarted phone as a test from problem earlier was at 48% after restart 25%
went to verizon for battery exchange none instock in area had to get one ordered
same thing happened everydaty if i restarted phone same with standard battery and once i got new battery on monday my friend also haveing same problem with hhis TB standard and extenede battery anyone elso if so let me know and Call HTC support and report the issue

Same thing happens to me when I reboot my tb...extended goes from 50 to 25%. I thought my rom might be the issue (bamf). Anybody stock notice this?

How do you know they are working on it i called them yesterday and they could not find any other Reports of this problem in ther ticket System
The call support will never be aware of anything. But this issue has been known so they will update it soon hopefully.

Most of the time we get more inside info here sooner than any customer service reps/tech support. Unfortunately those people you get on the phone are not very informed. For most companies not just HTC.

Playing Sudoku ... Turned it off and 20 minutes later turned it on .. TRIED to turn it on. It is not even a week old. I haven't rooted ... holding down I haven't made any changed to the software. Tried holding the start button and sound up but it does nothing ... HELP ! Do I need to return it.

When I plug it in to begin charging i dont get the battery charging icon .... Completely black screen.
Take it back under warranty... It's not worth the hassles of screwing around trying fixes that may or may not void your warranty when in the end you will use warranty anyway...
Just remember though, there's always a few lemons in any product line... Just bad luck if you get it...

sucks to be me today !!
Charge it overnight. Make sure that the plug you are plugged into is not turned off at the wall switch or try a different outlet.
Then push and hold the power button for a really long time.

What I'm concerned about is that my battery was not dead. It had plenty of charge still in it. It was working fine earlier this morning. I turned it off and then later on in the morning tried to turn it on and nothing.

Sometimes you just simply get a bad battery. Does your phone charge with other batteries?
Ask samsung for a replacement, you're within warranty.

I had an experience with another phone where I always carried a spare and one day I accidentally left the spare in the car on a hot day and the same thing you are describing started happening to the one I left in the car. Luckily I haven't had any issues with the sg3 battery.

Yes it does! that's what i was going to do. but i did swap my phone with verizon, does that make any difference? its the same battery though

I think it had to do something with Heat too, because i am in Las Vegas for vacation. was using it to find my hotel and suddenly it just died. luckily i carried a spare battery as it was my main camera

You just have a bad battery, just replace it. The phone isn't the issue.

Hi, I recently bought the Samsung gear 2 and everywhere I see it says 2-3 days battery life but mine only gets around 8 or 9 hours if I completely leave it alone for the day. Am I missing something here? is there some setting or something? Im starting to think it has a defective battery. Its already at 90% after only being unplugged for 1 hour. Also, no apps will install from the market?!? Any help would be cool, thanks everyone.
Sounds faulty to me. Mine lasts 3-4 days with reasonable use.

I see other people talking about apps not installing on the device either so that may be a bug from Samsung, but the battery life is HORRIBLE. If no one has a potential solution I might have to return it to amazon...

I just received mine Monday afternoon. Charged it to full overnight and ran it through its paces yesterday. Turned on the sleep monitor before getting into bed. When I woke up this morning, it was at 72% remaining. I could probably go 3 days without charge without incident.

I have it paired to a Samsung note 2 stock rom but rooted... Maybe its the phone?
The first time it lasted me 2 days but now I only get 1 day :/

I got mine thru tmobile, I had no problem ordering it. Looks like they have enough. Anyways try draining battery and charging to 100. 2 full cycles to see if it helps.

I had the same troubles when I tried to upgrade gear manager to the latest one ( failing as I have an Xperia z1 phone), while restoring the previous working one, a few services were still the latest ( I did not uninstalled them before reinstall the older). Watch battery life was crap.
I then uninstalled all gear apk on the phone and cleanly reinstalled gear manager 03... ( the one working for us with no samsung phone), my watch got reset and voilà ! Battery life of 2-3 days is back... I suspect one service was constantly pulling info from the watch but I don't know which one

Could you link me to that gear manager by chance?
I went to bed at 100% when I turned on the sleep monitor. Woke up after a 9 hour sleep and my Gear 2 was at 82%. I'm on the latest firmware and using an LG G2 phone.
I'm on the latest version and getting 3-5 days depending on use. If I use it a fair amount I will drop about 25% at the end of a full day. I have a GS5 though, maybe it's related to the phone its synced to?
I used mine for 3 days with about a combined 100 text and emails per day and on the 3rd night it was at 20%. I'm very happy with the battery life on mine.

Well, I no longer think its the watch that's the problem.... I shut off its Bluetooth and disconnected from my note 2 and after 8 hrs I only lost 10 percent battery...WTH is the deal here.. Anyone have any fixes for that issue? I couldn't find the gear manager everyone is talking about either.

If you have the correct version of gear manager from the apps store installed I'd say it's an issue with 4.3 on the note2. The official 4.4.2 was just release on SamMobile which is the version the S5 is running so that may fix your problem mate.
