Sony Smartwatch 2 video review + best apps (May 2014) - Sony Smartwatch

Hi everyone!
It's my third day with the smartwatch and I'm quite happy with it. I just made a video containing a short review showing the specs, followed by the apps I loved the most. Most of them are paid, but they were worth the money.

I will put them in the description too, but they're already clickable in the video when the titles appear

I will review your app.

Hi guys.
A lot of developers that create some apps are having a problem of advertising them and getting feedback from users (me included). So I think we should help each other by installing, testing, rating and reviewing each other's apps. So any one of you who have their app (with small number of downloads) post it here (google play link) and I will try it and publish a rating and a comment on Google Play.
I don't ask you to do the same and I will do it whether you try my application or not. If you do the same I will be very grateful.
Link to my app: Quote Box v1.1
Thank you.
P.S. You'll get your rating and review as soon as I see it here.
I've released my first app on the market called Select Who? It's an alternative to who draws the shortest straw, coin toss, rolling the dice and spin the bottle.
Everybody puts their finger on the screen and the app will then select one of these at random.
I apologise ahead of time about the adverts I know they are a bit intrusive, I'm trying to think of an alternative.
I would love to get some honest feedback from you about it and any improvements I can make.
Select Who?
I think this thread is a great idea.
I actually run an Android YouTube channel and blog site.
Although i might not be interested in every app idea that may come to this thread, i am more than willing to look at every app and possibly do a great review on it on my channel and site.
In fact i have developers email me all the time to review their apps.
Mostly because it has increased download numbers and a few have reported up to 40% increases in sales the day i post my reviews =)
But i am pretty particular about the app's that i review for my viewers. So don't be offended if i don't review your app =)
You can either email me at [email protected], send me a PM here on XDA or PM me on YouTube.
Good luck to all the dev's =)

Hey, I tried your app.
This is what I wrote: "It's very good idea but It only works for two finger for me. Fix that and I will give 5 stars."
Also maybe to work a little bit on a layout to attract more people, but if you fix "the fingers thing" I will give you 5 stars. Only two fingers recognized on my HTC Desire.
Cheers.

Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately this is due to the desire not having true multitouch and only support dual-touch multitouch. I will work on the layout. And left you a review for you app as well

Facebook button

hello,
facebook button lite isn't free, any free method the revamp it?
thank you.
anyone hava apk file please upload here
It's created by a forum user, and I don't see why you can't pay the 99p (UK) for the functionality.
On the other hand, if you can't buy it in your country I'd suggest getting hold of the developer and see if they will provide an APK for a small fee.
I'm not a mod, but piracy is definitely not allowed on the XDA forums.
Don't be cheap, just pay for it!
1 - 99p is too much for me, too damn high!
2 - the developer could have made it FREE, launcher pro is free, but too damn complicated!
3 - I've seen a way to change some files on the phone, but lost the thread.
4 - thanks r2b2 for your PRECIOUS advice.

Sorry stayfidz, my post was really in reply to the first reply asking for an APK.
No offence intended.
Good on you for wanting to do it yourself.
I also looked into doing it manually but apart from using it as a wake/sleep/volume replacement button I couldn't find a way to map it to an application.
That was quite a while ago now though, so something might have surfaced in a thread somewhere.
no prb r2b2
I can't buy this app, due to my location, wanted to make a paypal account before, but laziness was here.
Any way, i use the app, for system control, and found this enough for now.
Wanted to use the F button, for ES file explorer, since the F is for Folders!!!.

0.99 is the minimal price Google Play allows to set for a paid app.

Firstly, the free Launcher Pro version lacks some nice functions (fancy widgets, widget resizing). In turn, its full version, Launcher Pro Plus, costs $2.99. The same with F-Button: there is a free version with less functions, and a full version for a small price.
Secondly, you are totally welcome to invest some of your time to develop an alternative app and share it for free. Actually, I created the F-Button because the competing app costed 2 euro and could only launch applications - and I believed this is too much for such a simple function.

The Android Arcade - Android gaming blog

hey folks,
I started a new blog dedicated to Android gaming news and reviews. I know what you're probably thinking, yet another gaming blog. Even so, I would love for you guys to just take a peak. It's called The Android Arcade. I know there have been folks trying to start up a blog but fail to make it through their first month but my team and I are seeing this to the end. I have staffed the site with great writers and we publish articles at least twice in a day (more as folks start discovering us).
We have also created a dedicated game section where you can quickly see which games are worth your time. Think of it as a curation of the noteworthy games. The list is scarce at the moment but we'll be adding a lot more soon. The game section could be found at:
http://games.theandroidarcade.com
So I hope you guys stop by and check us out. If you have any suggestions or games you'd like us to cover, please let u know. A phone/tablet app will be released in the next couple months
Cheers!
I've seen your posts on /r/Gaming every now and then. Keep it up, man! I check every one of your posts! My username on Reddit is Noontoker17.
Not very professional, I know.
I appreciate the support. We like the /r/androidgaming subreddit to be sure to check us out there too!
Yeah, that's what I meant. /r/AndroidGaming. Whoops.
Looks a lot more professional than Droid Gamers
Hey, I've got a few games up on the Play Store. Two of them are in my sig. Any chance of them getting coverage on your new blog?
Be sure to hit the contact us button on the site to submit games. Thanks!!

Looks good - you might want to consider doing percentages and recommendations. Works really well the way they do it on theregister.co.uk and when the stick a "recommended" sticker you take note - especially if you're covering a large number of games.
Always good to have some more decent reviews!

Interesting Memory Game App

Hi Everyone,
We have developed a memory game feature Mahesh Babu Telugu Super Star.
Its a simple memory card game, people will like it who want to improve their memory.
The free version can be downloaded here: Mahesh Babu Memory
Please leave a comment with your rating on how to improve this app
Thanks!
Hi guys!
I've downloaded the app and it seems to be nice overall. It's the first one you've developed, right? Nice job for the first app :good:
It didn't really appeal to me as I have no idea who this Mahesh Babu Telugu Super Star is. But I played it anyway to see if it works. And it does. I guess that someone who's into Indian culture will like your app.
However. I've got a few issues. The first one is that you've used another app's icon as as icon for Gallery. I believe that it's illegal to do so. Besides, you don't really need it. I bet half of your users won't even notice if you change the icon. Another issue is that the control in the About screen has shifted after I turned About on and off a few times. I haven't been able to recreate it, but in case you want to know I have a Sony Acro S with stock 4.1.2. I've attached a scrrenshot below.
Generally the app is fine. It's inconsistent, controls look out of style as they're too iOS-like, and the cards whirling takes a little too long, so it definitely has some problems. But the main point is that I'm glad that you have completed your project. The next one is going to be a little better, the following one a little better yet, just keep working.

Thank you
Iam glad that you have downloaded and reviewed my app. Thank you very much for your valuable feedback. Its my first second application and its a Hybrid app.
Iam huge fan of Mahesh Babu, who is famous indian actor in telugu cinema. All of his movies are remade in other languages.
I would definitely consider these review points for my next app.
Thanks,

Created my first watch face...(LUM-TEC Inspired)

Created a couple of watch faces with Mr.TimeMaker.com.
They are fun to make, but creating the hour, minute, and second hands in Photoshop was a pain.
Hope you guys like them. I don't even have my S2 yet to test it on, ugh!
Here they are:

I didn't get the best photo but you get the idea. It looks better in person than what my camera shows.

I'm making backgrounds with MS Paint and Powerpoint, just cause they are things I have and know how to use a bit. I'm sure there are much easier and better ways, Photoshop I suppose. I just don't have any experience with such software.
I attached an example of a background I made. It's a 360 x 360 image. I kind of have a template put together at this point where I can make similar ones without too much work.
Then I log in at https://mrtimemaker.com and hit "My Watch" in the upper right and then I select "CREATE the Watch" from that page. From there it's just uploading the image and going through the different options to make the watch.
I love omega sea master watch face. Very nice. Thanks.
Beautiful. I'd buy a couple from you.
