Is anybody using LMT Launcher on the G Pro 2? I'm using it and its working well but I've noticed a weird issue.
I like to be able to start from the bottom of the phone and then swipe up on to the screen which usually works fine. On the G Pro 2 it didn't work at first, then started working then stopped again
Swiping from the side works fine but most the time the bottom is tricky to activate.
Thanks!

So my Nexus 5 gets here tomorrow but I've been playing around with the kit Kat launcher on my Xperia.. I figured out how to add panels but is there a way to set one as default? Thanks!

I believe the default screen is permanently set to the first one to the right of the Google now screen.

I don't know if getting to Google Now from the home screen by swiping to the right is set up in a way such as Apple's way of getting to the search panel. It seems more like swiping from the left starting kinda OFF screen, like how you tend to do with slide-in settings tabs and such in different apps. Only guessing though, as i don't yet have my N5 (should have it by Wednesday at the latest), but that's what it seems like in every video i've watched. Someone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong with this.
Yup when Google now it's activated it is a normal swipe from the to access it

Using the standard keyboard with the swiping method especially, it keeps kicking me out of the app I'm in almost as if it's sensitive to certain gestures. Anyone seeing this problem? Happens a lot using Tapatalk.

It's a more general problem: touching or sweeping near the bottom of any app screen can cause Android to think I'm taking one of the bottom row buttons, for example using the shutter button on the camera. Anyone else?

Has anyone figured out how to disable the capacitive buttons? I'm using lmt pie controls and don't need or want the factory capacitive buttons which keep accidentally getting triggered.
I tried some of the steps for disabling them on the note 3 and other galaxy devices, but the keymapper.pl. file doesn't exist on the notepro...

Update: I figured it out, I commented out keys 158 and 254 in the generic.kl file, similar to the instructions found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=40713735

You could use gravity box thru xposed, go to pie controls, disable navigation keys
I just read about gravity box for the first time on the lmt thread, I'll have to check it out. [Edit] preliminary research tells me gravity box won't work on a touchwiz ROM...

Xposed additions! Version 2.3 works best if recent versions don't work for you. He is still investigating some issues with version 3. I use this to do some disabling on my son's tab pro 8.4

works for me.
I'd like to at least tweak my dpi right now. Will tinkering with build.prop trigger the automatic system restore?
edit: just tried it, nothing triggered. one issue for anyone else who wants to change their dpi (this way, at least), if you have an S-View cover, the S-View seen doesn't scale. it ends up shrunken in the upper left corner.
also, the camera app is shrunken and to the upper right. weirdness

And your launcher if you use touch wiz will be off , so will you dialer etc but you can use exposed and per app dpi to fix that

What per app setting do I need to use to fix the lock screen?

Hey folks,
I've been using SwiftKey as long as I remember on my old phones.
I expected the s6 to run very smoothly with it but the opposite is true for me.
Swipe to delete words barely works and typing is laggy and sluggish most of the time.
Predictions are bad and I haven't found a way to make it work better.
Anyone using SwiftKey as well? How is it running for you?
Are there other keyboards that you can recommend?
Thanks everyone.

Its running bad for me too... I go to type words n there not there n its just ridiculous..
Works perfectly fine for me.
Is that happening for you within a specific app? Ie. Chrome?
Swiftkey is quick and smooth on my S6.
Works perfectly fine for me.

Try deleting a word with the swipe across motion. Does it work multiple times? I've been having real problems with that function

There is definitely a small lag in it.
Also not working properly here!
Also I have problems too on the S6 edge. Now I went back to the stock one till they fixed it.
Often when I swipe back it doesn't react at all..

Running SwiftKey on my S6 Edge.
So far zero problems!

Same with me - swipe back to delete words almost unusable
Painful most of the time...
Wrong predictions, backspace does not work, jumps to the beginning of the sentence while typing...
thats a shame..
Hope they fix it. I thought it was only Me....

Works great except for swipe back to delete.
Works fine for me. I've never use flow or voice so I've disable them. No problem with SwiftKey. Also use it on all my phones.

i've found that Swiftkey isn't all that swift when you swipe words and actions. try swiping a word like "ok" or "at" and it almost always gives you a different word. it just can't handle short words well at all. Swype on the other hand has no problems with this. but on the S6, swype is performing poorly for some reason. getting a lot of incorrectly swiped words while i've never had any issues on previous 3 phones.
i'm a swipe to type kinda guy ever since Swype first came out and if you're like me i'd take Swype over Swiftkey any day. i tried pretty much every keyboard out there that uses swiping and Swype is still the best. tap to type is atrocious though, so stay away if you're that kind of person.
SwiftKey works wonderful for me
Yes... I am swiping it with swift keyboard...
No issues at all
