sometimes while downloading any apps from the market i get the error "package file not signed correctly!"
itz pretty frustrating when are not able to download sum basic apps like gmail etc..
plus it getz hangd often too....any workaround guyz

try to redownload the app ...
This must be problem with system apps only. User apps will not give u this problem.

well e1 othr apps gave that probz...i wasnt able to download opera evn aftr retrying it for abt 4-5 times..
delete it via root explorer and then instal it via market...it may work!

One more issue is the flashlight in the status bar. I don't see the need of that flash light. When i click-it , the status bar force close

G-Fit dont have a flashlight

In the menu is an app for customizing the items shown in the status bar, so you can remove the flashlight and other unusefull things

I have an issue in v4. The email application - exchange forces closes when i try to write something in compose message. Did anyone notice this? Please check, I really need this email, and I don't want to go back to stock ROM
Edit : the force close issue comes when i move away from the "to" field.

The flashlight option turns on the screen brightness to max n makes the screen white....
It's pretty handy when u r in dark...

After rooting my S3, I got a little over zealous uninstalling all the bloatware. As such, I mistakenly deleted the alarm clock (ya know, the one that works with S Voice). Does anyone have the apk for the stock touchwiz alarm clock? The only downloads I can find are modded versions ported for other phones.

You should be able to download a stock rom and search the zip. Normally they are located in the \system\app directory. Make sure you match permissions with other system apps.

I downloaded "BeansStockR3.1". Since I am a new member, I can't post a direct link, but it was the only google result when searching for exactly that. Also, I PMed you a link directly to the ClockPackage.apk.

Hi there, this is how i fixed my alarm problem
firstly download the clock apk relavent to your phone, i think that there are 3 different ones provided in this thread.
Secondly you need to download something from the play store called "Rom toolbox pro" its £3 but if you ask in the forums here someone can probably point you to a free one that does the same thing.
make sure your phone is rooted, install and run Rom toolbox pro. click on Root Browser, navigate to where you put the APK on your phone, copy and move it to root/system/app. Once you have moved the apk find it in the app folder, click and hold it for a couple of seconds. A menu should popup with options, click on "permissions" set them so they are like this. http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2pphiyo&s=6 If you are using a different app you will need to set your permissions accordingly, yet again im sure there is someone on here clever enough to help with that.
Now just restart your phone, the APK will run on boot.

Hi my Note 10.1 (8010 running stock 4.0.1 UK) shout down and start again without welcome screen everytime I press the gmail notification at the bottom right. Other email notification is fine and open the email program. Gmail works from apps icon.
Any help is very much appreciated.

No sms in call-log done the correct way!
the setting that you select in the call-log will be saved and used all the time, the way it should be. samsung has never fixed that bug since the galaxy S1 !

After doing the above dont try to click and install or replace.. just remove or backup the stock contact and odex file and restart the mobile and thats it you will get the phone and contacts again..

Hey guys... just an VERY easy way to get the SMS removed from the call log : Enter the call log screen, press your "menu" button at the bottom left of your great S4, and choose what you wanna see.

only that the original samsung version DOES NOT save the setting. when you press the back button or reboot it will switch back to the default value.
that is why this MOD is here. this bug has been around since the galaxy S1

Just tried with back button, it stays on call log only even after changing to view messages but when you use the home buttin settings stay the same

Yes theme and i change some apps, for example apollo music player with Huawei music player.
I have one problem, it's not a problem with rom, but using cm 10.1 and your gapps, my youtube isn't loading. It lets you choose a profile and then a loading circle, nothing more.

I tried that. Now it shows that i have logged in, but it also shows "an error occured" nothing changes if i reinstall it again.

the gapps are bugy, please flash the rom without my gapps again,
Does your version of B804 fix the Push notifications problem? Whatsapp and emails do not work properly until and unless you open the app. The push notifications problem is a serious one. You dont get any messages until you open the app.

-Music Player couldn't start (freeze in black screen & crash).
-When I go to sounds & ringtones setting it freeze in black screen & crash.
-Some apps sill freeze or crash.
-And... I don't know.
But Homesreen & Apps Drawer are Smoother than Mangusta's CM10.1. :good:
I have not tested that much because my touchscreen is damaged.

Do you test the first Version, because i upload the update, the reason for crashes are maybe the bugy gapps, Plesse try the update Version, i test it and its better.
