Hey guys, I installed cyanogenmod 10 on my galaxy fit. But the default search bar is not visible on my home screens. Also I installed velvet.apk.
Still no use. Please guys help.
The same happened with me! I found no solution to this. I installed the ICS version of Google Now and GoogleVoiceSearch.apk in my GFit but as soon as I tap on it, the search crashes. Apparently there is nothing I am able to do for this. I am with the same problem....

No sms in call-log done the correct way!
the setting that you select in the call-log will be saved and used all the time, the way it should be. samsung has never fixed that bug since the galaxy S1 !

dont install it like a normal app!
remove contacts.apk and contacts.odex then copy this file to /system/app/
and give "read" rights to all.
then reboot

After doing the above dont try to click and install or replace.. just remove or backup the stock contact and odex file and restart the mobile and thats it you will get the phone and contacts again..

Hey guys... just an VERY easy way to get the SMS removed from the call log : Enter the call log screen, press your "menu" button at the bottom left of your great S4, and choose what you wanna see.

only that the original samsung version DOES NOT save the setting. when you press the back button or reboot it will switch back to the default value.
that is why this MOD is here. this bug has been around since the galaxy S1

Just tried with back button, it stays on call log only even after changing to view messages but when you use the home buttin settings stay the same
Can someone please confirm whether you need root for this?

I don't know why it still not fully functional. Mine has problem when I try to open new email from notification bar. Using the one you gave not have any problems with notification bar but instead when I try to reconfigure account setting it then force close!!
So end up with stock KitKat email.
Unfortunately new Google Email 6.3 deletes mail from server when messages are deleted from inbox folder, although I set to delete NEVER message from server.
Can anyone post stock GoogleEmail.apk in Nexus Jelly Bean 4.3, that I can install like a normal apk in my S4 phone? I hope this old version haven't this bug...

Hello all,
Recently, I flashed the official CM13 (nightly) on my S5 (klte) . After the installation I flashed the full GApps package which I downloaded from opengapps.com.
I am using labels with colors in Gmail. These colors help me to see at a glance which mail is important atm and which is not.
I noticed the colors aren't showing up in the Gmail app anymore.
Is anyone else is having this problem? Is android 6.0 not supporting this, does it depend on CM13, Gapps or am I doing something wrong?
Have been searching for a solution since I noticed the problem (around 1,5 week ago), dind't find someone with the same problem.
I hope someone can help me.
