That ain't a big deal.
Get the CM11 here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2525713
Choose the model, like yours is P3100.
-Get the official cm builds.
-download latest cm11 build
If you got cwm recovery:
Copy the downloaded cm11.zip to the root of sdcard
Wipe data/cache
Format system
Flash the zip!
Wipe dalvik cache
Reboot
Enjoy!!
Hit the thanks button if I helped

Every V20? baseband is the new baseband, which means your baseband is compatible. First you need root access, custom recovery and then just flash the latest CM9 build by hephappy. Now you're done! Enjoy CM9
Again, you can flash CM9

I think you have installed ROM Manager, now you get two options, one is 'LG P500'
which installs Clockwork Mod Recovery 5.0.2.7 and other is 'LG P500 Old BB' which installs CWM 5.0.2.0. As per my personal experiences CWM 5.0.2.0 is more stable.
After installing CWM now you can create backups, flash new ROMs etc.
Before flashing ICS, you should backup current stock ROM so that you can always restore in case something goes wrong.
Hey bro plz tell me that after installing ics can i go back to my old rom i.e 2.3.3 if i m not happy with it..??
Have you read last para of my post? It says if you made backup of current rom, you can always restore it.

Alpha 4 is an improved version over Alpha3(just need to go back to pit when you want to switch roms other than Alpha4)..I'm currently on "Dhiru's CyanogenMod 10 for Samsung Galaxy SL - Alpha 4 - Farewell Release" with "Crackerizer's CrackerizerKernel - Final" plus "loSconosciuto's Optimized Samsung battery driver"..so far so good, better battery as well

I believe you need to flash 2 files only to back to kpe
1. Kpe (select in pda only in Odin1.83 ) + 2. Pit , no bootloader file is needed .
somebody correct me if i am wrong , but i successfully reflashed from kpe to a4 to jellybam
( Read Dhiru's A4 post , quote "
1. This ROM will wipe data due to different partitioning. The device would reboot while flashing and resume again.
2. Once on this ROM, the most effective way of going back to any other ROM would be to repartition from Odin.
3. While converting the filesystem, your efs that has your IMEI is backed up to /emmc/backup/efs. Keep a backup on your PC just in case.
4. Incase if you don't get a network signal, check if your IMEI and Baseband are proper. If not, go back to stock and try again.
5. Do NOT use Odin to flash Modems. Due to different partitions, Odin will screw up your existing MTD setup. " )

Hi....
I am not from here.... Am from dhd section...
I got a galaxy R......
So I would have some questions regarding flashing and ROMs....
1. Can someone suggest some stable ics ROMs? ? Most of the ics ROMs are inactive now..... So I can't choose any...
2. Can I install 4 ext recovery?
It's simple and touch recovery too...
3. If I can't change cmw recovery what are things I should format before flashing a rom.... And where can I find the options I mean under which category in recovery...
All I see is factory reset and format cache...
Thanks in advance...

yes, you need to wipe all things first (i.e. data, system & Caches) & Then flash ICS Stock ROM first coz of stability issues.

what happens if i skip the flashing stock step...i mean if i flash directly from jellybeer to the frankenstains mod by only doing factory reset and wiping caches ?????
And wiping caches and factory reset will do everything? Don't we have to wipe system and other things.?
And I don't like touch wiz... So can u please suggest a stable ics rom that runs without touch wiz?
I checked cyanogen... But no stable rc releases for this device.....

Yes, above steps are just to be on safe side. You can install frankenstains mod after factory reset and wiping dalvik caches and skip mentioned step..
I thought you wanted stock ics.
AFAIK there isnt any stable custom ics rom. for stable rom you need to adjust with touchwiz only.
You can always install a custom launcher, like Nova or Apex which give a pure AOSP feel.

Have patience,wait for 10-15 minutes.
First of all, you shouldn't have used Rom manager. It bricks our device
Read the guide in the top of general section and install a proper recovery from odin.
Maybe the zip you have downloaded is corrupted. So download it again and try.
Make sure you are on official gingerbread(2.3.x) and not froyo(2.2)
If none of this works, there is something seriously wrong with your device.
But don't worry, you can flash stock via odin and revert back to factory state.

Which customize ROM?
For customize ROM you need with ODIN instal Clockwork Mod Recovery (CWM).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1339640
Now you can install custom ROM. Go in CWM and go on wipe data reset, wipe cashe partition in Advanced wipe dalvik cashe. Install ROM and again go on wipe data reset, wipe cashe partition and in Advanced, go on wipe dalvik cashe. Reboot phone. It need wait about 5 minutes for system up.

When u are flashing any custom rom over the stock rom for the 1st time then u *should* necessarily wipe /system otherwise you'll get hanged up forever on that android-text/boot-up screen.

Actually I tried all the way dude
Googled a lot to find a solution but didnt find anything useful.
I tried to flash CM 10.1 but it shows booting but nothing else..
Only boot image ,,,,,,
But Im not ready to give up
Here I will explain the whole thing I did
1.I rooted my phone with help of update zip
2.I connected phone to computer in download mode and flashed CWM recovery via odin,, in that I selected ops tag and then one package with cwm.
3.after flashing CWM via odin , I entered into CWM mode by pressing Ok button +power on button.
4.I wiped data, cache, dalvik cache, formatted system
5.Install zip from sd card and selected my Custom ROM
6.AGAIN Wiped data, cache, , dalvikcache
7.Rebooted
Then It stucks in boot image or blank screen and sometimes in white android text...
Hope somebody can help me now

Do this straight away:-
1. Flash Froyo 2.2.1(4 package) of ur country.
2. Then flash Gingerbread 2.3.6(one package) of ur country.
3. Then flash cwm via Odin.
4. Flash the custom rom thereafter.
Since it seems a bit complex issue, u need to try this to ensure zero errors.:sly: Btw u can try above steps in ur spare time.
As for me, I always try all methods that I know b4 concluding anything.

[CWM][CM11][GT-S7562] Using CWM to flash CM11

CM11 by m4jonez
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/cm11-samsung-galaxy-s-duos-kitkat-4-4-4-t3024762
CM11 by m4jonez needed TWRP 2.7 to flash. However using the CWM attatched in this thread, you can flash CM11 on s7562. TWRP was not loading on some phones so this is an alternative. Leave a thanks if this helped
and thanks to @ m4jonez for developing CM11 for our device :good::good:
Instructions
1 flash the stock ROM given in the cm11 thread
2 wipe data, cache and dalvik cache
3 flash the above file using odin3
4 reboot to CWM recovery and flash CM11
Screenshots are attatched
PS: Sorry for crappy quality; My ace doesn't have a good camera
Click on the thanks button for a satisfying 'click' sound( touchscreen users enjoy the feel of your finger on the thanks button)
