IFTTT for Android - Moto X Themes and Apps

The awesome service IFTTT has finally been released for Android.
Many of the recipes enabled by having the native app just let's people with other devices try to duplicate things that the Moto X already does.
Anyone have any cool IFTTT recipes that build upon the sweet abilities of the Moto X?

when is Android going to battle iMessage as much as we can debate the need for it or not its a nifty add on. The idea of free mms over wifi is ideal for a lot of people. Please don't list a bunch of 3rd party apps.

we already have gtalk, which in my opinion is better because not only can we talk with anyone who owns an android phone, but also with people on their gmail and g+. I do agree with you that it would be nice to have gchat integrated into the normal messaging app though
Would be cool to have imessage for android we need iMessage Chat to come to android strictly from Apple

AVX or EVA for TTS?

I've come across two great looking TTS apps on Google Market. Eva and AVX. AVX is twice the price and both have 4.5 star reviews. I'm wondering if anybody has done any comparisons of the two?
Thanks!
Check out the developers YouTube channel Ausieguy1. They are both by the same Guy. I personally have AVX it is incredible. Add tasker and you will have limitless capability, countless YouTube demos on both seperate and together. Almost immediate email support. I don't think you will be dissapointed.

anybody else addicted to Google/ANDROID like me?!

I've been addicted to Google for a couple Of years now. but I seem to be more and more obsessed With anything related to Google and specifically anything to do With Android.
what I've noticed about My addiction:
-constant checking Of apps in the play store. countless times per day
-constant checking if there are upgrades to My existing apps. countless times per day.
-countless playing With My android phone. scrolling through the home screens, launching YouTube, etc...
-continuely looking for videos related to Google products (fiber, Google now, nexus, etc...)
- continuely looking for videos related to ANDROID phones (note 2, galaxy s3, LG optimus g, etc..)
-searching for Google tv stuff
-I'm following Google and android on My Google+
-I've downloaded almost every Google app on My phone
I think that's all for now...

Friend, this IS PERFECTLY NORMAL!!!! You will get used to all these things. Even I'm addicted to the Google. Also this means that a new Developer will be added to xda soon!!
Hope I helped.

I think you'd be more correct in saying that EVERYONE is. At least on these boards anyways.

iPhone apps on android phone

Hello,
I was searching through the other topics, and the only thing I can find is how to make your phone look like and iPhone interface.
My friends have iPhones and they want me to get Find My Friends, but the Android version is not the same as the iPhone version which means no Find My Friends...
I was wondering if there was some way to emulate the iPhone on an android phone so I can use that app.
I really mean emulate as in an emulation app (I will be rooted soon if that is a requirement), and NOT use a ROM that will turn my phone into an iPhone.
I'm a bit of a n00b at this kind of stuff, so please be gentle with me lol.

i think find my friends apps is exclusive only for iPhone its hard to emulate the apps of idevices.

I figured that. I've not been able to find anything on the web about this type of stuff, so I figured it would be a bit of a nightmare.

Iphone and Android App Developers
Find My Friends app is created only for iPhones. According to me, it is very difficult to emulate the iPhone on an Android phone as they both are supported by completely different platforms.
Welcome. Rather, it is impossible to run an application from iPhone to Android and vice versa. You can look but they have a completely different code and I doubt that anyone did. But we live in such times, so good luck.

Gym working out apps.

Is there an app to keep track of your progress in the gym? Like a journal of how much I lifted last week and see my progress and have a daily schedule on what body parts I am working out.
Thank you.
I use jefit. Epic app, you can download routines, make your own, and has timers n stuff

Ui is awful but it is the only log app so we gotta live with it.
You're welcome guys. The ui has gotten a lot better over the year but still crap. Not yoloholo but it's usable.

Runstatic makes good gym apps but not sure if they got log tracking ones
I've not found anything better than Jefit for tracking weights sessions. The UI isn't the best but you can set up everything on the web site and the app syncs with it. I only use the app itself to log the reps and weight as I do my workout and the timer is handy too.
found a new one lately thats really good for gym routines. none of this GPS crap. pure gym workout only. really good. developer responsive on his beta testing Google+ community: fitnotes https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.github.jamesgay.fitnotes
didn't like jefit myself. was using vidaone lifestyle pro but their ui sucks arse.
Adding to the group. Jefit is the way to go. Been using it for years.
Fitocracy
I've been using Jefit for a couple years and it gets the job done. Unfortunately Gymgoal hasn't ported their iOS app to Android because that app is amazing. Jefit is fairly clunky and resource heavy, but it works and has cloud sync, which is good for flashaholics. I wish the developer would implement timer in the status bar for rest breaks.
Yes, Jefit is the way to go for fitness and weightlifting tracking. With their online syncing capability and extensive database of exercises (which you can augment with custom exercises), tracking ability, progress graphing and mapping, built in rep timer....
It might not be the prettiest, but feature for feature, it's the best.
Have you had a look at MyFitnessPal?

I like and don't like jefit. It never sync good for me. Stuff that o delete show back up. Best app always is paper and pen.

+1 to fitnotes... An amazing app. and the most important thing I can't live without us that before every exercise I can check how much I lifted the time before that

Is the paid version of Jefit worthit if you don't have a Elite Subscription to their website?
