Ok I know there are many threads on this, however my question is do I need to have a custom recovery to enable the tethering. Not to be disrespectful to all the hard work the developers put into twrp and all.I'm just not comfortable at this point with the recoveries available yet.I am s-off and rooted with weak sauce ..thank you in advance for any info..

Well, topic says it all... Is it difficult? Or no developers for this custom recovery? Why is it that we, P350 owners, have only Amon-Ra?

My guess is Probaly because there's not a lot of users of that phone model, low activity device

Hmm... As true as it may be, this answer doesn't convince me... So, what knowledge is needed for bringing CWM to this device?
Sent from my Swift Me using Tapatalk
Yes cwm can be installed on the p350, perhaps a dev can help you
I've seen some low activity devices on here and a dev sometimes help them install cwm and root the phone
Sent from my HTC_A510c using XDA App
Just CWM... The rest is already done... developer.clockworkmod.com doesn't allow me to sign up nor in...
Sent from my Swift Me using Tapatalk
Burn cwm img on your sd, I'm sure you can use 3.2.0.1 just read the tutorials and it might work

I'll read first and then brick my phone...

Use root checker to confirm?
You can also see if super user app is there in your applications...
ofcourse you can check that by downloading root checker app from play store.

Just reflash.
Like lumin says reflash. Use the second link in his signature.
However what rom are/were you on?If it is not a stock based rom dont use the reset feature within the phone use the one in recovery.
Thanks lumin you continue to be a trusted advisor. I flashed
a stock gingerbread from lumin last week.

So since i'm about to flash i'm a little interested in a different ROM. Are there any perfect roms for this device?

Perfect is a hard statement to make. Any of the ICS flavors are pretty stable there are bugs but even stock roms have bugs. I think barebones by antonx is a good one and VB by FB is too.
Is it add simple as installing stock GB was using heimdall? I've read good things about VB would you possibly post a link? Most I click on are dead/inoperable...

I answered this question in the stupid questions thread, where he asked it again. Posting the same Q's in multiple threads won't help you get a faster answer.

Actually I think it did. But since your so quick to make BASELESS accusations I will explain. I'm new and didn't really know where to put it. After my first post I decided it fit better elsewhere. Tasks for inquiring jacka**

Had that problem before u just reflash the ROM. As long as u can still go to cwm recovery

It un rooted itself again! Wth. I dont have cwm. How do I get that?
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda app-developers app
Run Gremlin Remover and go from there. You will have root and CWM to flash the ROM you want.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=22596598
I'm not sure that I understand the cwm. Click work mod? I put that on my CPU and tether it with the market app? Sorry this is still very new to me...

Any roms for a Polaroid pmid10c? Or ambitions for one?
Anyone get Lucky enough to pick this up cheap? It has a few bugs but potential to be a really nice device... a recovery I guess would be a start since this is pre rooted...

Just grabbed this cheap from menards. Comes pre-rooted would love to to install a custom rom too.
This is the best I can find, not sure if it works yet as my PC is jacked ATM... It has cmr and bloat removed, pm me for other info... https://a170132.uranus.1blu.de//data/public/d9c188c9d2e5984b774443ddbe44e1b3.php?dl=true
So flash at your own risk obviously and you have to follow the same procedure as polaroid directs to when you first connect the tablet... The link will directly DL this .IMG file... I can't wait to flash it but can't ATM so when I do I'll post results here or if anyone else does please post results...
jr, I see you are in my neck of the woods. any updates on flashing with that rom? I have a couple of these that I am itching to crack the seal the on.

Yep, works fine, just whatever you do, do not wipe cache/dalvik cache in recovery or any other way at all. Not sure why but doing so soft bricks...

Make a cup of coffee and read all the stickies. Get your software version and follow the procedures for your software version after reading and understanding the procedure. It is always assumed you have a working knowledge of adb, fastboot and the search feature. If it seems too overwhelming to read and understand please dont root. The fact that you have to ask for a link leads me to believe this is above you.

After searching I found and tried this tool, requires S-OFF.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1870652 ..... my phone rooted, (just hit -"Root Device").
I'm on stock 4.2.2 stock recovery etc, I have flashes the xpirt's Stock Modded Kernel.
This worked for me K2u (possibly for the other versions), try at your own risk.
Nice tool. Though, I would prefer to flash supersu manually vice something like this. This way I am fully aware of what is taking place, but this is my personal preference.
However, this is a nice find so thank you for sharing it here.

Not sure if you've noticed here in the forums but, custom recoverys aren't paying nice with guys that have updated to 4.2.2
Some of them had an updated Hboot inside their OTA.
This is why he has posted this I'm sure.
Just so your on the same page.
Ah, was unaware of this issue. Thanks for updating me.

Your welcome sir.
Yes, should be downgrade from hboot 2.21 to hboot 2.0 to be able to flash recovery
and do not want that.
Hmmm, now that you mention it, I do recall see @old.splatterhand giving a warning about him having to downgrade the hboot.... Sorry, don't have 4.2.2 yet, but I wonder once custom recovery is flashed if going back to 2.21 is safe? Personally, I wouldn't know at this time.
