so cwm 6.0.4.6 can flash that?

I'd like to flash a custom kernel on my rooted TF101 with latest ICS stock rom, but i've not installed a custom recovery.
I tougth to use Recovery Installer app to easily flash CWM (3.2.0.1).
The question is: can I flash a custom kernel (like this) with CWM 3.2.0.1 or do I need a more recent version of CWM (like 5.5.04)?
Another question... after flashing custom kernel, do I keep rooot permission?

3.2.0.1 cwm should work just fine
i flash to cwm and flashed root , but i flash to stock recovery because i want ota update , but after update , root is disappear ，i flash to cwm again with odin but if i go to recovery , it still go to stock revovery
how to reroot it and how to flash cwm？

i already hv odin and clockwork mod-recovery_6.0.1.0.tar.(<<< is this is the latest recovery ??>

Öhm... no CWM 6.0.4.7 is latest CWM. You´ll find a link to my recoverys for P31XX inside my signature - all up-to-date
