stamina mode is delaying the system time and notification time.... - Sony Xperia L

Hi, i m actually a user for Sony XPERIA L. recently i notice that when my stamina mode is on, the system time and notification time is delayed.,.... may i know izzit a bugs of the software or actually it normal?

This is normal, I believe you can exclude the Clock app from STAMINA mode so it doesn't have a delay anymore.

Clock delay

Anyone else is having this problem too?
After being a long time in idle, when I turn my XL on, the clock is delayed to the last time it was before turning it off, and it takes like 4 or 5 seconds to update, or sometimes it doesn't do it until I rotate the phone in landscape mode. This is really annoying because is affecting the alarm too. I don't know if Stamina mode is doing something with this (I have it activated all the time), but I need to fix it. I put the clock app in the white list on Stamina with no results.
Currently using Android 4.2.2, but this happened in 4.1.2 too.
Yes, everyone is having this problem, this is caused by the stamina mode indeed.
No way to fix this until now i guess... They might fix in the next firmware, along with other bugs noticed in 4.2

Yeah, I realized this making more tests with Stamina off. Too bad because Stamina is actually effective to save energy.
Actually even in 4.1 Stamina here gives more problems than it should. Things like the notification light not blinking and several other bugs, I use no battery saving options.

Yeah, I had troubles with missing led blinks for my notifications too.
What I do for saving battery is turning my connections off manually. Also, killing apps constantly and freezing other unused apps with Titanium Backup kinda helps.

By disabling STAMINA mode.

Stamina mode on and still receiving notification

Hi everyone,
The Stamina mode seems not to work properly on my Z3. Indeed, although the remaining battery time increases dramatically when I activate it, the Z3 still warns me when an email arrives or anything else. Plus when I switch the screen on I clearly see that Wifi or mobile datas is not paused. I can even ping it when on wifi. So I wonder if the Stamina mode actually works. I have already delete cache and datas of the app in Settings but nothing changed.
What about yours ?

when u turn on the screen stamina mode won't prevent data usage
it almost works when users turn off the screen.
also there s an option to avoid waking up the phone on lock screen (when using stamina mode)
:good:

Thanks for you answer. Yesterday I saw it worked because as soon as I turned the screen on I saw the LTE network back and all my emails
flowed.
What I mean is that I know that mobile data is on when the screen is on, but from what I checked there's always a bit of latency for the cellular datas to be back when you switch the screen on., and usually I see that they are newer switched off except on scarce times like yesterday.

[Q] Sony Xperia Z2 or other Xperias with that mode

Anyone using Stamina mode on Xperia Z2 from 100% (full battery) and does it can mess up battery or whole phone since it's marked to turn on from 20% battery...
Edit: Mods move my post in Z2 section if it needs to be there.

No stamina mode from 100% wouldn't mess up your battery. All stamina mode does is stop background syncing (apps using internet when the screen is off).
Tnx

Issues after Marshmallow last August release

Hi all,
I live in Italy and since I bought Xperia Z3 with Lollipop 5.1.1, I kept receiving message for an update to Android 6 Marshmallow.
I finally decided to give it a try. What I got was nothing too new or exciting, one camera option less (cannot shoot anymore 20 Mp pictures in 16:9, only 4:3 now) and a horrible STAMINA mode.
Now, with Lollipop as standard, Stamina was good.
On Marshmallow, it is visibly different. When Stamina is on, the animations in the various menus, like, say, Notification closing, Applications closing, PIN code insert, lose their typical smoothness. Something that is very frustrating, because it looks like you are shooting with a point and fire game. Everything becomes so fast and not as smooth as without Stamina on. Has everyone experienced the same issue? I could record in a clip the clear differences between the behaviour of Android 6 with Stamina on or off to be more clear.
The stamina mode in Marshmallow is merely a renamed low battery mode from stock Android, there is no actual Stamina mode.
Performance is reduced and animations disabled in low battery mode (aka "Stamina mode").
I'll probably stick with Concept Software.
So there is no way I can activate Stamina and get normal animations like every Android flagship phone has?
At very least, I could stick with DOZE, instead of Stamina, if that works in reducing battery consumption, but I guess I can't remove Stamina with the last Sony update.
I feel like a sort of urgency in turning back to Lollipop 5.1.1 and Stamina. It worked pretty well, but I am kinda of afraid of Flashtool and finding the right .ftf file.
