Hi.
My sony xperia tx was hard bricked recently, it happens out of sudden when i was watching a movie on the phone with wall charger connected. At first it went into boot loop and i tried to hard reset it but it didnt work. So leave it connected to the charger. After two hours, there is no led indicator even it was connected to the charger and it didnt respond to hard reset, no vibration at all. Pc companion and flashtool cant detect my device. The only thing i found is my device flash red led for about a minute and it went off and keep repeating again and again and this happened after my device connected to the charger for more than 24 hours..please someone help me how to fix my xperia.

Firstly I'd like to apologise if this is in the wrong place!
I have sat in front of me a Sony Xperia J. It will not power up. At charging it flashes a red LED. Even after 2 hours wall charging it did not move onto the next cycle of charge.
I was given the phone to attempt repair for a friend, they think the screen is broken (no cracks). At an earlier charge attempt the LED turned orange. I went to power on and it vibrated once and did not power up.
Im beginning to think it might be bricked. Ive tried various power button combos to no avail. If anyone could point me in the right direction id be grateful!
Thanks

Try using some other tipo user's battery...and put your battery in his phone and put it on charge.... If there is someone you know.
Alternately you can try a universal charger.

HIT THE THANKS BUTTON IF I WAS OF ANY HELP
auto reboots
After keeping it connected to charger for one and half day it booted up with 1% battery and started charging.....
but now facing another problem it shuts off every 20 sec and reboots automatically...
i left on charging for 4 hours 93% charged but still problem persists...???
is this hardware problem...???
Use flashtool and flash the ftf.. Might not be a hardware problem.. Just flash the ftf via flashtool or repair your device via Sony update service or pc companion and I think it will surely work.

Since you were updating, use repair service in pc companion to revive your phone.. Don't worry.. This is nothing complicated.
sony update service worked fine...problem solved Thanks
Happy to help bro....

Hello there.
Since there is no section dedicated to E5 General Issues, I'm writing here.
Last week my sister's Xperia E5 (which was bought new for Christmas) started to behave improperly.
When charged, it randomly turns itself off due to 'Critical battery' even if it had over 40% seconds before. The phone isn't hot, not even warm.
At times it does not charge at all - everything is plugged but the phone does not take power.
When connected to PC, it does not lose connection.
Always used original Sony charger and cable, tried charging it with LG charger and cable - same thing happens.
Already have tried repairing via the Xperia Companion, which I think reverted everything to factory settings - the issue still persists.
Anything I can do?

Sounds like a hardware issue. Try a new battery, if that doesn't fix it then there is an issue with the device itself, if it's under warranty you can return it or have it exchanged for a new one.

It is under warranty, so I think I'll go straight this way and skip playing with the battery.
Thank you.
Hello there
Today i finally wanted to start my sony xz premium again after having trouble getting it charging, possible usb c port damaged.
I got it charging for 20 minutes and was going to check how much it charged
When I saw the phone I noticed the green LED was on so I assumed it was fully Charged.
After trying to start it up I didnt do anything no vibration no Sony screen.
After reading how to force reboot it I tried that and it wont do anything.
Before I try a hard reset I wanted to ask if someone had the same problem or any idea how to get it running again?
(Currently it is in a salt/Rice bath cause im assuming liquid inside)
Update after letting it in the salt/Rice both for 2 hours the green Light dissapeared
But now everytime I try to Charge it,it stays on the charging picture but without any prozentuale showing.
After 5 min it will try to start but keeps getting stuck at the Sony Logo.
I got it charging with an 0% Indicator so probably will let it in the salt/Rice bath longer
