Looks like we are in the lead. This may change since HTC had a jump in release date.

I'd really love to see the m8 annihilate the s5 in sales. I know it's not going to happen. I had an s4. Way overrated and very slow phone for its hardware. I'm sure touchwiz ruins the s5 as well

Touchwiz ruins any phone, as well, lol.
After having the S2 then the S4 I tried both the M8 and the S5.. I only could play with the S5 for a few minutes before I grew to dislike it... thinking of all the weeks it would take to undo the touchwiz theme I simply bought the M8 and switched to Verizon casuse I actually want to use the data I pay for.. had unlimited data with tmobile...none of which I ever used unless I was in the right part of a big city. Xtremely satisfied and havent even debloated this bad boy yet.

I didn't mind TouchWiz at all on my Galaxy S3 or S4, both were rooted, recovery changed to TWRP and CyanogenMod ROMs installed within hours of bringing the phone home, I agree I don't like TouchWiz but it's easily removable, even with the newer locked down Samsung phones, there's still Nova Launcher.

Amen! Did you try the Skyfall ROM? It's pretty stock but debloated and it locks out OTA updates which I suspect will lock down the phone if VZW get's their way.....
Only the lucky few that got their s4 in time before firmware was updated from mdk were able to have the luxury of non touchwiz roms. Glad I got mine on mdk. But I don't think the s5 ( like the note3) is going to have a Loki exploit like the s4.

Welcome to Verizon! Home of the LOCKED bootloaders and Verizon tramp stamps! LOL I hate them but I LOVE unlimited data and I am so happy we have the great devs here that allowed us to have bootlaoder and S-Off freedom. :good:

Later then on At&t....lol... But I hope very soon..
I'm hoping within a day or two, but you never know with the Canadian carriers. I'm pretty sure we got 4.3 first though, so I'd imagine that it's ready to go.
hope the update will come soon, at&t has already the update....:highfive:it still indicated soon on roger site. hope it will come in the next two weeks:fingers-crossed:. What I like in kitkat above all is the mail, gmail like, and google now is integrated to the launcher. will see how samsung put it in their touchwiz.
Hope it comes to Fido soon. I'm thinking that if it comes to Rogers, then it should be ready for Fido also.
Even though I'm not using any SIM in it yet lol, wonder how that goes. I tried with Keys3 and it tells me I have the latest version (4.3).
I'm mostly excited for the snappier speed! It is sluggish in some parts in 4.3 and touchwiz really makes it slower than it's supposed to be!
Waiting on Telus
Then I'll be cookin'!
Edit: No S4 - 4.4.2 on the
Telus upcoming software updates...
damn

wow wtf man
One of the reasons I left HTC for Samsung is faster updates
(I know there are Nexus for that, but Im not really interested in stock Android, except for the Nexus 7)
And now they are making us wait ?
3-4 weeks after ATT updates
Last time I chatted with Telus, the support team mentioned they generally release updates 3-4 weeks after AT&T. So looks like it will be end of March

not sure if they will be released at the same time but the last update(4.3) I installed on my Koodo S4 was the same one used for Bell S4.
Anyone remember if they all received the update the same day ?

Last I checked Telus got the update before any other carrier at least it shows that kind of pattern on the firmware releases.
Either way can't wait to start cooking a 4.4 rom

It's really frustrating that we pay the same as everyone else but are always the last to get an update. Last time, we got updated well after google had released a new version. Not even a leaked version??

That's because no one knows and it hasn't even been made official although everyone knows it's happening. My guess is, is that it might not even be available in the US.
There's a post on Sammobile saying there will be "limited quantities" of it due to production costs of the 2K display.
I'd buy it again..
Buy a new device whenever you need/want it because waiting for the next great device will never work by the time that device comes out the next great thing will again be on the horizon and the cycle continues..
Oh I've been through the cycle and back. Lol. Good to know that the reports are vague at best. The last thing I want to do is use my upgrade now and then find out that a better version of the phone is coming out in 2 weeks.

That's how it usually happens... I hate that **** too
The answer is simple, if you think you will want what's in the ''prime" more then the reg s5 what's waiting another Month or so? If the s5 is good for what you want, then why wait?
I hate to say it, but ive never been more disappointed with a phone than with my s5. Battery isn't that good compared to my g2, it's slower than my s4 as far as unlocking and opening the camera, the fingerprint scanner is garbage for unlocking the phone. The camera is great in bright and dark situations but lower light it sucks. I do however like the look and feel, which is weird because most people talk about how much they hate it. Also why hasn't samsung implemented auto-input in the keyboard, it's 2014.

I am having this issue since day one. I bought the Nexus primarily for testing out the developer preview. I flashed to it, everything worked fine. But as soon as I entered my sim and restarted, phone turns it's radio off and displays "Please turn off Airplane mode to place a call" when dialing a number and displays no service.
Also through the code "*#*#4636#*#*", I noticed I couldn't turn on the radio through the "Turn On Radio" button. Whenever I press it, nothing happens.
If someone can help with this, then that be great!

Sorry, I should have mentioned in the OP, I have tried every factory image available for the Nexus 5. Nothing changes. Even tried relocking the bootloader and unlocking it. No clue what is wrong. :-/
Very strange... Do you have another SIM card to try? Not sure if it would make a difference, but it's worth a shot.
Edit: Haha I thought I was the only one crazy enough to consider getting a Nexus 5 just for the Dev preview XD
I didn't go through with it though.

No RMA. I would recommend you wait for the final release. I don't wanna blame Google neither I am sure but I think Android L messed up my Radio in the first place. So yeah, wait for release and try to see if the final one has it all sorted.

Seems a little more than just a camera update. Verizon has done a good job at locking down Motorola devices running 4.4.4, just saying I wouldn't take the OTA without already being s-off if you ever want to root again, I guess time will tell...
Also it improves the sound. the OTA changes firmware of audio components to newer than on Harman/Kardon version. It's first audio update I think for the "normal" version of One M8.
And fixes the cracking that can be heard at high volume with some headphones.

I do not have an s3 to compare it to but the shealth app got a complete overhaul. It does much more now. It also speaks (heart rate, time, speed) at intervals while I am running. I missed the speaking when I first switched from carrying my phone to just my watch on runs.
It added many more activities to track too.
EDIT: Tmobile pushed the update finally! They actually came through.
Just checked for update on T-Mobile variant of Gear s2 and it is available. The size is: 146.52 MB and downloading now.
Update: It completed just fine. Watch runs well, but I haven't tested anything besides the installation of the update and some menu navigation.

Yes, I bought one of the refurb TMobile 3g Classic ones before Christmas, I already have a sports Wifi one. I have not activated it on T-Mobile (I'm on sprint), and I got the update today. Works well. I can make and receive phone calls via Bluetooth easily. Not sure I need my Wifi one anymore. Wish I had known this before I bought the WiFi as Sprint does not sell the 3g version at all.
