I need the 16 digit device password for the Sprint Kyocera DuraXT..
I am trying to change few things in DFS Tool and I need that password to continue.
Google search shows some posts saying its all F's (FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF).. but that's incorrect..
DFS seems to say unlocked to whatever 16 digit password we put in there. The only way to know if the password works or not, is to try and make a change and see if it takes effect on the phone.
Thanks.
result?
Did you ever find out this password? I am also looking for it.

Hi there,
If you have a few questions regarding the safe.my.windows.phone software. Anybody who have used it before please help me out!
1. If I have already set my password, how do I change it?
2. If I want to set a password only for unlocking when I remotely lock it and not for prompting when device is not used, how do I do this? As far as I know, I can only set a password if I tick the check box 'Prompt if device unused for'.
3. Finally, I've finished my trial evaluation of the software and want to uninstall it. However, after uninstallation, my phone is still asking me for the password to unlock my phone whenever the screen is turned on (unfortunately I set to prompt for password every 0 minutes and I can't find the password page to change this). How do I completely remove this?!
I tried re-installing but the page that asks you for the password after the first installation doesn't come up anymore I also then tried uninstalling after re-installating but the asking of the password still comes up everytime I turn on my screen!
Many thanks!
After two weeks of waiting for an email from [email protected] to come back to me, I can only warn everybody here to not install this application! Obviously the program is flawed (doesn't have a place to remove it) and you don't get any support. Don't install, don't buy! ><
Just as I thought a hard reset was around the corner...JGUI replied! Going back to the password settings page is actually very simple. Just go to Settings --> (Personal tab) Lock. From there you can set when to prompt and what password to use.
Still, there is a limitation where if you want the program to lock your phone when the correct SMS comes in, you need to activate this password protection but you can set this to 24hrs rather than 0min like I did.
I purchased an unlocked t mobile htc hd2 from e-bay. everything works but when i try to set up my internet after the apn screen it has user name then password i put in the required info from my provider and each time i try it has no connection. i go back and my user name is still intact but the 4 letter password keeps changing back to a 16 letter/number password i have tried many times and with the same result each time. is the password locked in by t mobile? is there a way to remove this? HEX editing? ANY HELP ? i have no clue plus my service privider will not help at all they said they dont sell this phone and have no idea ect ect.... i finally got the correct input info from the tech support over the phone after threating to pull the 8 year old plug and go elsewhere (DONT WANT TO CHANGE PROVIDER REALLY) my only problem is the password keeps going back the the 16 letter one rather than my 4 letter one. if i need to do any editing what software do i need ? PLZ HELP IF SOMEONE KNOWS. THANKS SO MUCH.
Have tried 50 times and I don't get a "forgot pattern" button! Any ideas? I have my google credentials and my pin just forgot the damn pattern...I'm rooted etc would rather the phone just ask me my password...[i.e. not looking for ADB hacks]
It can't just ask you a password. If you don't know the pattern then flash the factory image in fastboot and start over. You're probably going to lose everything on the phone because I bet the bootloader is locked too
Its supposed to ask for your google credentials:

Can't unlock your Android device
If you’ve made too many pattern attempts or forgotten your PIN or password, you can try other methods to unlock your Android device.
Sign in to your Google Account
For pattern passcodes only
If you set up a pattern passcode and made multiple attempts to unlock your device, you can touch Forgot Pattern and be prompted to enter your Google Account username and password. This will take you to the Security options in the main Settings menu, where you can reset your device’s password.

Anyways, tried Android Device Manager and it works great, just choose LOCK and you can enter a new pin. But definately a bug as it should ask you as their own FAQ says...
And my bootloader is unlocked but hey, as I said I preferred not to delete stuff with ADB if I could avoid it.

That page appears to not apply to the Nexus 5, it's not in the list for factory reset.
The OP probably just stole the Nexus 5 from some hapless idiot and you guys are falling over yourselves trying to help him access it.

If you're an optimist.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using xda app-developers app
the OP (me) just happened to set pattern lock to try it out after using the same pin for years on every phone I have had, and promptly forgot it.
And I specifically said I was not looking for ADB commands to unlock it, which are freely available already...
Google doesn't have a Nexus 5 help page, they just have a Nexus devices help page. If the 'Forgot Pattern' button doesn't apply to a Nexus 5 they should say so...
And as I said in my second post I was able to unlock the phone using Device Manager (well, to set it back to pin unlock anyways, which then let me unlock it).
But let me sum up...
tl;dr
I somehow locked my SIM and have no idea how I did it and therefore how to unlock it. Thought I was setting up a 4 digit pin, and upon entry it is asking for 8 digits. I have no idea what the PUK code is supposed to be and used up a couple guesses just in case it was the obvious; have 3 tries left before I imagine I'm locked out permanently...?
Any way around this to clear PW or some other work around?

You can see your PUK code in your my verizon account. Also it tells you the default SIM pin, 1111. Just log in and press manage my device on the main screen, and its over on the right under "About my device"
Didn't realize I hadn't yet replied though I thanked you. Found it and issue is resolved. Much appreciated!
Hello, I recently found an LG Stylo 3 in one of my drawers that has a knock code on it. I don't remember the code and I already tried 66 times to unlock it (it now takes 240 seconds between each attempt). No "Forgot Password" or backup pin option shows up, USB Debugging is on but it's unauthorized, and the mode that it's on when I connect the phone to my PC is Charging Only. I just want to know what pictures I have saved on it, or if I can pull out my photos or something. I can't reboot into bootloader from the recovery options, it just reboots my phone. I'm able to go into recovery, and safemode, update from adb puts it into sideload mode, and it's connected to my wifi but because I changed my passwords on my google accounts already, the phone doesn't show up in any of my google device manager accounts.
Everything is stock, no custom recovery or firmware and it's not rooted.
What can I do now? Is there a way to reset my password or bypass it entirely? I don't care how technical it is, if given a good guide I can do it. I can't find anything to help me, hopefully someone can help my problem here.
Before anything, I didn't steal the phone, it's my old phone I had when on Virgin Mobile, I can give as much proof as I can to show that it is my phone if needed. I just don't remember the knock code
Thanks!
