2.1 A Charger? - Micromax Canvas 2 Plus A110Q

Hey guys will canvas 2 plus charge fast on a 2.1A Charger? cause currently it charges very very slow, 4 hours for 10 to 80%.

yeah it would surely charge much faster with 2 amp charger, but using different charger other than stock mostly cause touch issue, so i suggest you must try samsung or some other good company chargers and ignore the cheap local onea

Charging while using gps :(

Before I got this charge I ran nothing but HTC phones on tmobile. while being plugged into car charger and using gps the battery level goes down fast. It doesn't maintain the charge or add to it while navigating. Is this a samsung thing? Any remedies?

That cannot be right. Make sure your car charger, when it charges your phone, is pulling AC instead of USB.
GPS uses very little juice. Just get the 950ma Motorola charger from Amazon for 5 bucks. Something is messed up if your phone doesn't charge

Mine doesn't discharge, but it doesn't charge hardly at all. I'm using the Verizon dual port charger (the one that has a USB port on it as well as the standard charging end)

I use a Monoprice 2A USB charger with an OEM USB cable. Charges extremely slowly or just stays level, but never drains.

With GPS on, you barely Charge with that charger? I know its limited by the kernel at 800mA or so, but damn, that should charge you up fine.
I rock GPS in the car all the time and I still Charge pretty quickly...

All depends on what you're running at that time-4G, cell and GPS reception, etc.

Make sure you are using a high amp charger. I like the one from Motorola.
Even so, with 4g and the screen on - the phone charges slowly. Turn the screen off and it charges much quicker.

[Q] 2 Amp Charger?

Has anyone tried a 2A charger with the One X? Will it actually pull more than one amp?
I have an hp touchpad charger that I use from time to time. I don't notice a big difference in charge time over the stock charger. Is there a way I could test this?

I use my iPad 3 charger and don't notice any significantly faster charge times.
The phone will only accept a 1A charge period.

Spare battery charger

I need a spare battery solution. Samsungs own option is great but not for 50 bucks. I found this. Is there any reason I shouldn't buy it?

All I got to say is that i did get those kind of batteries from ebay, and they are definitely not the mAh they say they are. I bought them for the GS3 but they died way faster than the stock Samsung battery. My advise is pay up the price for some thing better, or know that these batteries will last a lot less than stock. I am actually looking for the ones from amazon. There is a review of 6 batteries in one of the threads that says there is a battery that last a bit longer than stock. That's what I'm buying.

I agree, I wouldn't trust to use any batteries with no brand and claim to have higher mAh capacity
So what are the specs of the ZeroLemon charger? I have one from ebay that says the output is plus or minus 350 mAh. It takes about 7 hours to charge a GS3 battery.

Here is a screenshot of one that essentially has the same specs. I've seen a couple floating around ebay that say 600 plus or minus 50mAh. I wish some one would create one that charged at the same rate of the phone.

I got the Samsung charging unit for my S4 from Amazon for $30 bucks and use either the charger cable it comes with or the 2amp charger that came with my phone. Worth every penny and goes from dead battery to fully charged in about and hour or slightly more. I have used them from my S1, S2, S3 and now S4 so I guess they just work perfectly for me

I see the link and according to reviews this could be a fake. But anyways, at what rate does it charge? How long does it take to fully charge the battery from 0 to 100? Are u using the stock 2Amp charger that comes with the S4 and does it make a difference in charging time?

If you get a fake I would expect to get a refund from amazon. It took 4 hours this morning to go from red light to Green (could have been less I was out running errands and came back to it green). Don't know what amp it uses, it has an ac adaptor it comes with.

Even four hours is not bad for going from 0% to 100%. I know with the stock charger the phone charges the battery in about two hours, with no usage.

Is it an external battery charger which charges a spare battery by itself, or are you talking abt having the battery in your phone and charging it?

When I leave it overnight it only charges to 98%. Any idea

Leave it charging all day as well. Your battery life will be amazing

It's trickle charging most likely, meaning that it charges to 100% then let's the battery drop a few percent and charges again slowly. I've never plugged in my N5 (I exclusively charge wirelessly) and it always charges to 100%.
