Trouble booting into recovery - Verizon HTC One (M8)

Whenever I go to boot into recovery, whether it be through adb or holding down the vol down and power buttons when the phone is off, I get to a screen with a little picture of the device and a red triangle with an exclamation point inside of it. After about 3 minutes (emphasis on about, I get distracted...) it reboots.
This happened before I s-off'd and installed CWM. Even now, its still happening. I'm not sure if CWM even installed as I can't boot into recovery (hence this thread). Anybody else having this problem?
EDIT: Okay so idk if this is how it was before (because, as i said earlier, I get distracted easily... great.) but when i try to flash cwm through adb, it says < waiting on device > and gets stuck there.
Maybe thats the problem... Im not sure. anybody got ideas?

That sounds like you have the stock recovery, and not CWM. You may want to re-run the S-OFF and see if it sticks. Some people had stated that it took a few tries to get it to stick.

I'll rerun it, but when i still do have S-OFF.
Ill report back when im done..

Okay so I did it again, and it said that "there isnt a helluva lot to do here. bye bye". Gotta love these funny guys.
Anyway, I definatley have S-OFF, but CWM still wont flash.. grr..

Another update: Im not sure if my phone is supposed to be in the bootloader when Im trying to flash cwm. But when it is and I try to flash the file, it says "Error: Cannot open cwm..."

I have tried doing it in OSX and Windows, still no luck... same results both times.

Update: Wow im smart. I forgot to put the .img into my folder with ADB and Fastboot.
Everything is working now, my bad.

Phone Dead After updating to magic port!!!!

i followed the instructions to the letter and after it was done
i was presented with a picture of an IC microchip and an arrow pointing down.
i restarted the phone and now it wont start.
i cant get into bootloader mode or recovery mode...
Please help me get my phone back!!!!
did you let it finish? the ic microchip and arrow pointing thing? or did you yank out the battery?
i panicked and yanked out the battery...i killed it, didnt i?
I think he didn't let the phone finish and restarted the phone cause it wasa taking too long if that's the case 99.0% the phone is bricked. It happend to somebody else here already. Jy
He just call tmobile and told them the wasn't turning on and they send him a replacement.
I think this is something that needs to be added to the flashing roominstructions.

oh well, i just hope i get a replacement quickly
that happened to me so i called t-mo and told them that my g1 wont turned on at all and tried the other battery so they send me a replacement. of course i was a noob back then. i learned my lesson in a hard way so i suffer a week without my precious g1 lol.

also once you called t-mo do not let them know that youre modifying your phone otherwise they will not send you another handset.

how about take out the sdcard and connect it to the computer, put the jfr33 in it, and flash your phone again. It works
also he could try getting into recovery mode using adb or sumthin...i am not too sure about it...but i think it can be done..!!!

If the phone can't reach the bootloader or recovery console I don't think ADB is going to work but I could be wrong.
patience is a virtue
your topic title is misleading and could lead users who haven't tried yet to be too wary about flashing over to Haykuro's builds...
Ultimately...your phone didn't mess up after flashing 4.X..YOU messed up.
if you cant turn on youre g1 then it is dead, even if you connect it to pc or what if it cant be turned be on, it is dead cuz thats what happened to me so just call t-mo and tell them youre phone wont turn on and you tried another battery still wont turn and DO NOT tell them you modify or even saying you attemped to modify your g1's rom.
the best thing for him to do would be flash rc29 nbh and start from scratch...the phone is more than likely not bricked.

To my opinion, i do not think the phone is bricked since there is no hardware issue is involving, it's the software itself, if he can access to the root of the sd card, problem is solved.
but oh well, i would call Tmobile and request a new shinny phone . wait... they will send a refurbished one won't they? oh noo...
I have a similar problem, i was attempting to move apps to the sd card, partitioned it, installed the lucidrem rom and then started using his code and the flashing android loop started, turned it off and back on and still the flashing android, i used the fastboot method to restore my nandroid backup, and the phone is back to working, my problem is that i cant access recovery mode.
everything else is fine, just when i try to load the recovery mode it just stays on the boot screen, can anybody help a newbie out?
the bootloader works, and the phone can load normally, but the recovery mode wont start.

That happened to me also. When I installed lucidrem's rom the recovery would work. What it actually was that when you first rooted your g1 do you rmr installing the recovery img? Well its pretty much the same thing lucidrems rom didn't have a recovery img command line attatched to it. I just installed recovery again from the terminal emulator just like it said in the root your g1 thread.
Atleast that is my side of the story. I don't anything about coding. So I could be wrong but that was just my experience.

Relock US Xoom Tiamat 1.4.4 resulted in hanging at Motorola logo

Hey guys I was having some problems with my xoom's wifi on Tiamat's 1.4.4 so i decided to relock the device and use stock.
It's a US model and had build HMJ37 but i decided to follow this thread
http://www.xoomforums.com/forum/mot...4600-thinking-about-unrooting-read-first.html
I downloaded img build HRI66 and followed all the steps and it was ok. Then, i rebooted and now my device is at the motorola logo's dual core screen. Everytime i manually reboot with power and volume up it automatically reboots the device instead of shutting it down, it literally won't shut down and keeps hanging at the moto logo. It just keeps rebooting and getting stuck at the motorola logo. I then unlocked again, and performed the same process with the HRI39 img and still got the same problem
So im stuck. Please help me out guys, i'm in serious ****.
So you have gone as far as the "fastboot erase cache" and "fastboot oem lock" right? This is kind of funny because I tried to install Tiamat 1.1 ROM tonight and ended up going through this HUGE loop of problems.
Here's the problem I had: some time ago I installed ROMManager from the market. I thought it would be easier. It SHOULD be easier. I let it update my recovery to its own version 4.something. It allowed me to SORT OF install the ROM, but I wound up with some persistent system files that weren't getting wiped and a bcm4329.ko version mismatch.
This stumped me for a long time because all I could see was an "Error" message where I was supposed to be able to toggle the wifi on and off. I tried rolling back to my previous ROM. No go. And the culprit the whole time was ROMManager's CWM.
I tried rolling back my recovery.img file to the Tiamat version recommended in this forum. I kept getting all of these crazy "could not mount" errors for pretty much EVERYTHING. I thought my recovery partition was effed. So I rolled back to stock. Followed pretty much the same instructions you linked to.
From there I was able to boot into the stock OS. WiFi worked. I breathed deeply for a minute or two then dove right back in.
If I was in your position I would (and I did, though not from a boot loop) boot into fastboot and unlock the bootloader again. You can do it by holding the Vol down key as the device boots. When fastboot loads type "fastboot oem unlock". Press the Vol down key then the Vol up key. Do that again. Your device is unlocked now! Hooray!
Now you need to install a recovery.img. (I just did this too.) Get the .img file here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1074979
Boot into fastboot again. Put the recovery img file you downloaded into the same directory as your adb and fastboot executables (if you haven't already linked to them in your PATH). Type "fastboot flash recovery recovery-lotsofstuffhere.img". Type "fastboot reboot". 2 seconds after the Motorola logo pops up press the Vol Down key. Then press the Vol Up key to enter recovery.
Ok, here's where I found out what a dumbass I was. I got all of the stupid "can't mount anything" errors again. I thought, HOLY ****. I just did all of that work, spent hours troubleshooting and reformatting and bringing it back to stock and flashing the custom recovery all over again just to run into the SAME error. I really thought I was screwed. Then I found some forum where a guy was complaining about the same error. He realized he was getting it because his sd card was half-way out. I thought - "SD CARD?!?" Some guys told me I needed one earlier too, but the ROMManager CWM didn't require it. It just screwed up my system files. So I popped one in and rebooted. Voila. Everything's kosher. If YOU have the same problem, make sure you've got an SD card in.
Ok, so now you're in recovery. You'll need to flash an OS of course. If you haven't already got it, get Tiamat 1.1 rom. Put it on the sd card. Wipe data/factory reset. Install zip from sd card. You're golden. At least I was. 5 hours later.
-Mike
Hey Mike I'm gonna give this a go. Just when i downloaded the img file to flash through fastboot i got an error saying battery was too lower to perform the recovery....damn it! The xoom isn't able to charge at the moment so i have to wait until it dies i guess (or i hope at least) and then charge it up and try again later.
Thanks again dude, hope i sort this out too. I'll download tiamat 1.1 in the meantime.
DUDE YOU'RE MY ****ING HERO!!!! I got it running can't say if everything is 100% just yet but the fac tthat im back in is enough to thank you so very much Mike!!! What a guy!
It worked? Great that's excellent news. Just out of curiosity - did you get there because you had ROMManager's ClockWorkMod? Or maybe you didn't do a full wipe before flashing a new rom? Or maybe you restored some WiFi settings with Titanium Backup after a new flash? How did you wind up with tthe problem in the first place - you know, for posterity.
well to be honest i am not 100% sure. I think the source of the problem msut have come from my previous installation of tiamat's 1.4.4 rom, it was always actin up on me and i don't believe i wiped the mod before i updated it and that may have done it. I wish i could give you more than just a pseudo answer.

Normally, I'd agree but in this rare case, he actually needed it to fully drain because he couldn't get it to power off using any normal method. Weird! so, it seems his only shot was to let it die to finally kill the screen and then start over. Very odd...

You are right...I had forgotten that from the OP. Very strange indeed.
Yeah I dunno why, my xoom was just acting up. It's fantastic now, albeit the wifi still has a couple kinks but android market issues have been resolved, i get much better streams and with tiamat 1.1 everything is already built in and with a quickboot option =)
Xda...where would i be without you!

You should be able to reboot the device using vol up + power, then holding vol down and vol up until it says "Cold booting Linux.....".
This should do the same as letting the battery drain, plugging it in and turning it on.
DeeJay - dunno if you've done this already, but if you haven't you should go back to the Tiamat 1.1 thread and find the Modpack. It fixes the Market update issue and gives you built-in screenshot capabilities and an option to reboot into recovery from the power off menu. It's in there - you just have to scroll down a bit before you find it.
Also - what issues are you having with WiFi?
Thanks for that important tidbit, solarnz. I'm going to file it away for future use.
OMG!!!! Dude you just saved my life! I thought my baby was out the window. I had the exact same problem as you did. I was trying everything from every thread that had anything to do with this problem. I just finished installing and it booted. WHEWWW!!!
Thank u thank u thank u!!
Glad it helped. I'm seeing all kinds of posts in here about the ROMManager CWM. Not good.

Help installing GB rom. May be bricked.

I'm a noob and I wiped my phone before trying recovery! DERP. Not sure what to do next.
So... I need a little help. I've been looking around and havent been able to find a situation like mine. I've got a completely wiped/factory reset HTC Inspire 4g. SD card is good and reformatted to fat32. Heres the basics. When I press the power button I get 3 vibrate and orange light, when I press volume down and power I get 5 vibrates and green light. When I plug phone in with usb (to computer or charger) I get clockworkmod recovery v5.0.2.7. I am able to toggle through options, all works fine.
This is where I need help and I get easily confused. What do I do to get this phone back to stock settings? I've tried putting the stock pd98img.zip file onto the sd card, then installing via clockwork recovery. When I do this, I get failed installation EVERY time. I've also tried connecting through ace hack kit on my lap top and running the stock settings flash. Whenever it resets the phone it does the 3 vibrates/orange light and stops.
I would really appreciate someone with a little more experience to walk me through what I need to do to recover.
Update: When I try to download the zip from the sd card via clockworkmod I get the error E:Signature Verification Failed. I'm not sure what this means.
If someone can solve my problem I'll buy them lunch or coffee! Some kind of gift card to your favorite place? I'd really like my android back!

You only flash pd98 files from fast boot not from CWM recovery. Boot in bootloader and it will find it
I am going to come off as the biggest noob here, but its got to be done. How do you boot in bootloader?
EDIT: Alright. So Bootloader is Volume down and power. My phone won't boot into bootloader. Phone vibrate 5 times and green led comes on. Screen stays black the whole time.

Nah, no other combo's work for getting into bootloader or rebooting it. From what I've read on other forums, if I can't get into bootloader, I'm bricked. Do you think since the phone is wiped back to factory settings that HTC would replace it under the warranty?
Since you can boot into recovery, adb should still work. Enter recovery then plug in your phone to PC and run adb reboot bootloader
Have you tried reflashing a rom in recovery aswell?

If you are booting into CWM your not back to factory. As stated above you can use adb to boot into bootloader
Just making sure I'm doing this right as its the first time I've ever use adb commands to me phone. Do I need to downloand Android SDK to write commands to the phone?
Okay. I've learned how to use the adb commands. That was cool. haha. So I popped the battery out, then back in to get to CWM. With phone connected to computer I tried adb reboot bootloader. My phone rebooted itself, but it did the 3 vibrates with a flashing orange LED. Adb reboot recovery does the same thing.
For being in recovery. Are you guys talking about the volume down power combination, when I do this and connect the phone to the pc, the pc doesn't detect the phone. So there is no abd commands/flashing roms to it in recovery.

OK looks like your bootloader is messed up. Go to the ace hack kit thread. There you will find a link foe the IRC chat room. Go there and tell them what you did. They maybe able to help you.

Stuck no recovery. No nothing.

I have a sl101. I only get eeepad screen. My son did something to the machine. I can get it to say booting recovery but nothing happens. I also can get a text that says cold booting Linux. Again nothing happens. Nvflash says USB write fail. But when I check adb the device is recognized. Is there a way for me to adb push a recovery in there for me to boot too, so I can reflash a rom. I have a little dilema here. I also was wondering if I can flash rom thru adb. I read once that's how they used to do it on g1. I don't know if I am speaking accurately though. Any kind of light shed on me will be greatly appriciated

not sure about the slider but i had a customer return yesterday with this exact issue on the tf101 and i couldnt get out of it. the tf just kept switching itself back on and getting stuck on the splash screen.
found this set of instructions but im not sure if its what you need or if it will work:

good luck
That is exactly what is going on with mine. The slider is basicly the same thing. I plug it in and I tries to boot. I thought you had to be booted into recovery or the rom for adb to work? That's why I believe this method you just revealed to me. Or some variation of it will work. I will be trying shortly.

nvflash if your TF101 is compatible model.. (must B60 and below).
Or read Wolf's thread HERE. It might helped everyone here..
Thanks but everything needs adb connexion and as apx is not working, i can't connect ADB..
I have a B50 model
Nobody have a clue ?
well, I have to send it back to my reseller that will change it but before that I need to delete clockwork mode or brick it, how can i do ?
I tried every thread here, update rom does nothing, looks like it does not write anything on the tablet
Thanks in advance
try to follow this procedure...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=25636698&postcount=5
let me know
Hello, thanks, but as I can't get to apx mode, I can't use nvflash, so still stuck with my recovery, I tried to modify super Wipe package to do things but can't get through...
If someone can make a package to delete recovery, then I can try it on my tablet, I really yneed it to be bricked cause now it load with Rogue's recovery on and on, so the reseller will new it has been modified and I will have to pay to get it back ...
Thanks in advance
with the procedure posted in the previous link you don't need APX mode and don't need NVflash...
Just boot your TF in recovery mode and plug it to your pc...
remove all previous drivers and install the new one that you can find in the post
ciao
ps... at the end of the procedure you will have your TF101 with stock rom and stock recovery
I will try but even when I am on recovery, nothing appears in Hardware management, no recognition from My computer, still strange... And when I power + vol down key, It never says to presse vol up in the text in the upper left corner, just says booting linux kernel...
When I try to boot pressing vol up + power, nothing happens, not even the clics that can be heard when it powers up...
I had a similar issue when I used SuperWipe and discovered my ROM on the external SD Card could not be accessed by CWM
I tried pushing the file with adb but kept receiving errors - protocol, etc. I suspected it was a driver issue along with the fact that 64 bit systems don't always play nicely with drivers. I actually dug up an old hard drive and did a very basic install of 32bit Win7. I booted the Transformer into CWM and when I connected it to my PC - I pointed it to the universal naked driver. I was then able to successfully push the rom to internal storage and used CWM to flash it
Hello,
I tried to connect my tablet to an old Windows 2000, but still nothing happens
Hello every one, I finally sendt back my transformer to my reseller, now I can buy a new one...
Thanks again

My G2x seems to be dead

I'm here, requesting help, i've read (i think) almost everything. Try everything and i'm not able to recover my G2x.
I'm from mexico, and my english it's no so good, i hope that everyone can understand what i'm trying to say U_U
I brought a used T-Mobile G2x from ebay. I was SOOO happy with the phone, a good one, a kickass and it was about $250 dlls for me. I think that was a good deal. The phone was on a average/good condition.
So, i rooted it, then after, moved the rom from stock to CM7 stable.
I changed then to eaglesblood ICS, then another eaglesblood, and then again CM7.
The phone was working very good. Then, a issue appeared.
Some day, the phone was a little slow, then i rebooted it. And then started the pain...
The screen showed the LG Logo, white brilliant. And after a seconds, power off. What!?
I tried to power on again. Nothing. I did the battery pull and then worked fine. I thought that was a simple bug or something.
Later, the phone ran out of energy. I pluged on the wall charger but nothing happened. I left it for an hour and tried to turn it on. Nothing...
Then charged the battery with a multicharger and the same problem. LG Logo, nothing. Checked on the CWM Recovery and did a cleanup of battery stats, nothing. I was desperate, so i've flashed my phone with Eaglesblood again. Vuala, the phone worked... 'till froze and i had to pull the battery... Again, LG Logo... nothing.
The phone boot up by himself after leaving it for an hour or more. But i had another problem... Battery at 999% Or battery stuck at 32% and suddenly dies...
I've checked with the battery app and saw that the battery said 0 mV
I have 2 batteries, and the both with the same problem. One LG, one chinese.
So, i went with a friend of mine, i took borrowed a battery of his LGO3D, and... nothing
The phone works with APX, powers on on the recovery, i even sometimes reads ok the battery and the phone comes alive, 'till i have to reboot it because the phone is so slow after 2 or 3 weeks without a reboot... but it's so rare and random...
I even updated the phone with the 21y baseband and the new stock rom, but keeps doing the same thing...
I'm just at the point that i want to throw the phone to the wall...
There are something that i can do?
Change some piece?
I must say that when the phone read the battery and it's ok, i can charge it normally, works perfectly, usb ok, everything it's like nothing was bad. But the problem is if the phone shut's down...
Get adb working with USB and if using a windows pc open Command Prompt and run
HTML:
adb devices
....Make sure your device is found, an ID number will appear if successful....
HTML:
adb reboot
....Let the phone start rebooting. When "adb devices" works and shows the phone ID again proceed...
HTML:
adb shell
$ su
# dmesg > /sdcard/dmesg.txt
# logcat -v time -d > /sdcard/logcat.txt
# exit
$ exit
adb pull /sdcard/logcat.txt %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\logcat.txt
adb pull /sdcard/dmesg.txt %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\dmesg.txt
exit
If you get a complaint with those last 2 commands; change %USERPROFILE% = whatever your username is where your Desktop is located. (i.e. C:\Users\me\Desktop\dmesg.txt)
Then either email them to me or post them on www.pastebin.com and post links to both files.
I'm a little lost...
First of All! Thanks for the help
And i dont know... The phone must be ON to do that?
The phone right now doesn't power on, just the LG Logo, at this point, when i attach to a computer via USB Cable, the computer doesn't detect anything...
I can enter the CWM Recovery, it's enough??
And a funny thing: The phone NEVER powers ON (Not even the LG LOGO) when usb or charger it's connected.
EDIT:
Good news, i've got adb working, but i don't have su, i'm downloading it thanks
EDIT AGAIN
The last time that i've flashed to stock rom the g2x forgot to root the phone
i've already tried with adb commands, but i got errors when i try...
I guess that i need usb debugging On, and i doesn't have it...
I'm on a dead end??
Go to the ROM for recovery thread in development section, follow it step by step and your phone will be 100% alive and kicking on GB 2.3.4.

If I recall you were the one who emailed me and I sent you links to NVFlash correct? Did that work for you? I'm just trying to see what your question really is. It sounded from you OP that the hardware perhaps keeps failing and no matter which ROM you flash, you eventually get stuck in bootloop like you are now. Are you just trying to get out of bootloop or is this a reocurring problem? If your stuck in bootloop then your only solution is to NVFlash a recovery and push a rom. If its reocurring then we gotta figure out why... thats where my instructions come in. So you need to tell us exactly what you're trying to do.
As for adb yes you can adb from recovery. You gotta go to Mounts and storage > Mount /system though or else the device wont show.

Ok... my first problem: Language. I don't have problem with the reading, but writing... i'll try to put my words on the right place
I don't remember, when i first flashed my G2x i did it with the Rom Manager App... the result came on a bootloop. Then i used NVFlash and flashed a correct ClockworkMod Recovery. Installed CM7 and everything was fine. Then i wanted to try ICS and flashed it again. No problem. I normally follow the guides step by step, and the phone was right. Then, one day the phone froze and was the first time that i had the bootloop with the LG Bright Logo, then dim, and then power off.
The problem not was while i was flashing a rom. Because while i was on the problem, i flashed with NVFlash the original bootloader and then restore the original firmware, and the problem still there. Right now the phone has the stock rom, updated by the LG utility, and the problem persists.
I think that is what you say. The phone doesn't pass the LG Logo screen no matter which rom i flash... What i don't understand is that the phone seems to be ok. When it powers (a week ago) it worked just fine...
I don't think that is a bootloop caused by a bad flashing... i think that is a recurring problem...
I have this 2 folders with tools for the NVFlash, i think that the both of them are right...
One-Click-G2x-recovery-flasher-04-28-12 [Folder]
One-Click-G2x-recovery-flasher-09-23 [Folder]
They have the APX drivers and NVFlash and the One-click-G2xr-recovery-flasher app...
I'll mount the /system in recovery and i will try to get that log. With the /system mounted then i think that i can root the phone...
I'm gonna try... let's see what happen...
Thanks
EDIT: I noticed (when the problem first came) that the sticker of water damage was ripped off... is not there... But i don't know if the phone was really damaged by water, because i'm not the first owner... The phone was working fine for about 6 months and now it's just like i'm explaining...

Ok, I bet your partition tables are messed up. If you can get that dmesg and logcat file it would be ideal but if you cant then we just gotta move forward.
First copy all your stuff from SDcard and internal memory into a folder on a PC. Make a backup using clockwork or whatever and also copy that onto a PC just to be safe.
Then you need to search the G2x forum for this batch utility called something like "auto-formatter partition repair tool" or something similar. If you cant find it message me.
Youll want to run that first, its going to completely wipe all of your stuff and reformat the blocks sizes. Once done youll need to NVFlash a CWM recovery again. Then push a ROM over to the phone and install with CWM. (Dont push a stock rom or anything Gingerbread. Ideally push EaglesBlood ICS since I know it works and can help you troubleshoot.
So i would do that first because i bet your upgrade when u said you attempted to install ICS corrupted the file system, which can happen if you dont format /system prior.
Get the utility, backup everything , format the partitions, NVflash CWM recovery, push ICS rom, install, install GAPPS, come back here and tell me it worked

It's a shame that i cannot get that logcat... :/
Well... i have nothing to lose (data, or something), so i searched over the forums and i found this utility:
Code:
[URL="http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1590523"]http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1590523[/URL]
I think thats the right one, or at least, one of many...
That utility flashes a CWM Touch, then, i installed Eaglesblood Gingerbread (because the utility said that if i don't, the sdcard will not be recognized) and the gaaps...
Turned off the phone...
Turned On...
But then again, i have the LG logo bright, then dim, then power off :/
Do you think that could be a charger flex problem? Motherboard? I should burn it?? :/
Use the batch cleanup tool, then flash stock rooted ROM. That way you cab make sure something works, and stock is going to be the safest flash. If that works, then you can go on to custom Roms

Yes thats the utility, and the post above by "rtotheichie" is correct too.
You cant flash a Gingerbread ROM. You need to either push a stock/rooted build, or an ICS build. It's that gingerbread -to- ICS thats causing the partition problem (if it even is that). So what you're doing is fixing it then messing it up again.
--> There could be any number of things going on and we can guess at anything but what good is that gonna do? ... You NEED to get that #dmesg log. I would focus on doing whatever you can to get ADB working because thats going to tell us exactly what is failing at boot time. Can you get into Recovery? I wouldn't even worry about starting the ROM, you should focus on getting into Recovery first. If you cant get into Recovery then you didn't flash it correctly with NVFlash. If you can get in, then go to Mounts & Storage > mount /system ...then get that ADB going using my 1st post above. Thats your only hope if you cant get it on your own.

No problem.
Well if you can get into recovery and if you have ADB and the drivers for the phone setup on your PC you should have no problems connecting. Try using a Windows PC if you can, it's funny but ADB is probably the only thing that is easier to get going the 1st time in Windows rather than Linux (Ubuntu).
Just keep trying and run
HTML:
$ adb devices
each time until a device ID shows up.
I've noticed you've posted this same question on like every single Android website that exists; but I'm telling you what the correct answer is and the only way you're going to be able to figure out what is going on is to get to a log file. No one has a magic trick that will automagically fix this from afar. Anything else is just guessing and checking.
In recovery, try going to Advanced > Show log ...what does that say? Also it won't hurt to try going to Advanced > Fix permissions. I doubt that will do anything for you but it won't hurt to try at this point.

I'll try that, today
And i know that aint no magic trick that fix my phone... I'll try everything to resolve the problem.
Thanks...
And another thing. I've checked my PM's, and saw that i've never send a PM to you. And no, i'm not flooding the entire www with my question. But i think that i should have used a diferent question to describe my problem. This is the first time that i ask for help, after reading and reading on the web, and almost everyone says: "send it back to t-mobile", but that's not an option for me. And my first choice (and olny) for asking help of course it's xda.
I remember that once clicked "show log" and an error pop out, but i didn't try the fix permissions options.
This is the video. Sorry for my bad english.

I saw the video.
Take out the battery > then put it back in.
Press and hold BOTH the [Power] and [Volume Down-] at the same time and keep holding them.
Keep them both pressed while the "LG logo" appears; shortly after you should see the white logo change to a BLUE logo... once you see that you can let go.
Does that work and get you into Recovery? ...let me know.
One other thing to try...
Plug your USB cable into the Computer ONLY ---Not the phone.
Take out the battery, do NOT put it back in.
Now (with the battery still removed), Press and Hold [Volume Up+] and [Volume Down-] together. Do not press the Power button.
While still holding both Volume buttons together, insert the USB cable into the phone.
Now wait a second or two, does the phone Power On into a "Download mode screen"?
If not, let go of the Volume buttons and unplug the USB from the phone.
Now plug the USB back into the phone. Press and hold the [POWER] Button for several seconds (still with NO battery in, just the USB).
Does that turn the phone on?

I'm currently downloading the service manual and the user manual.
Ok, i tried the first thing. The phone gets on recovery mode. All good.
On the second thing to try:
-I followed the steps just as you said: vol+ and vol- and connect usb cable. It makes a sound of connected device, checked and windows detects a NVIDIA USB Boot-recovery driver for Mobile devices, but the phone screen never powers up or show a download mode screen. When i flash anything with NVFlash it shows the Download mode screen...
-I plugged the phone without battery, and pushed the power button. The phone does not power on. Not even the LG logo or anything.
I'm still trying to get that logcat. But everytime that i want to type "su" on the adb shell says that cannot found su...
Now i'm on recovery.

Whats the status on this are you still dead? Looks like you need to do that partition formatter script now... appears your partitions are messed up. What ROM is on there now?

Sorry, i didn't get the mail of new post...
Yeah, it's still dead...
Today, i put the battery on the phone and it started right away. Battery status ok, everything working fine. But i didn't put a sim card, so i turned off the phone and it's dead again.
I don't know if i'm getting a GOOD partition formatter. But i've already used one... and the result it's the same...
And even tried a crazy method of one guy that put the phone on the fridge for 10 mins and then NVFlashed-it to a stock gb...
And nothing U_U
Power up, show a bright LG logo, then a less bright one... power off...
Thanks for your help...
EDIT:
Today i opened the phone, extracted the logic board and watched everything. A VERY SMALL bga chip (i donĀ“t know wich) had a little crack on it, i cleaned with a soft brush and a little piece came off... Now the phone doesn't boot at all, not even the LG logo... i think that's the end...
If someone can indicate me where i can buy a new mainboard it would be very appreciated. Thanks.
