When you unlock bootloader, the entire internal memory is wiped...
You should have transferred your photos and files to a sd-card..
Sorry to say but now you cannot do anything...
While deleting unused folders on my android device i accidentally deleted the storage folder in the root of my storage. All my data is gone and i was just 1 day back from my holiday and made many pictures and videos.

As to your question, I'm sorry to tell you that once you have deleted items, it's gone. There is no know way to recover those items.

But I found our on this website that deleting .thumbnails in DCIM will give additional space
I also found out that its a temporary fix and android will again recreate it
I have a YU yureka
Both my internal and external sd has .thumbnails folder with sizes of both over 1 GB
I deleted them n made an empty folder with same name but I didn't gave any space I was expecting and now .thumbnails is empty as I created

use a pic backup app like picasa, then, after backed up, you can delete all your pics and thumbnails and gain whatever space they were taking.
you will still be able to view your pics in the app, but they wont be taking up phone space unless you download them again.
I deleted the pictures under the folder wa-images in the device storage. Is there a way to bring them back somehow ? My device is GT-S7582 and totally unrooted.
Thanks for help
Michael
