i have the same problem, even serious. My phone can't boot into system i guess i destroy the partition.

Can't be done as the OP is S-ON - they're stuck unless Revolutionary make it compatible

I'm stuck too in the same predicament... I'd tried everything I could until I found your comment. I guess I'll have to wait for Revolutionary. Thanks for the info.

htc sensation 4g unroot

How do I unroot my sensation 4g? I have the RUU but its an exe. when i double click it my computer says it cant open it, it goes online to find another software that can open it but it doesnt find anything. Can someone help me please?

Download another, that one is borked.

Also, just add ".exe" (without quotes) to the end of the filename of the file you downloaded to get it working.

I got the RUU but now its saying it failed "please get the correct ROM Update Utility and try again" what do I do now?

Well, are you sure you got the right one for your phone?

i downloaded two of the pyramid tmous ones and they are both saying the same thing.

I helped someone the other day and the only way he could get the ruu.exe to flash correctly was to s-off first... Didn't make sense to me but it worked

No, should be good then! Try extracting PD58IMG and flash via bootloader... Did you verify md5sum of the ruu.exe as well?

ok what I did was enter fastboot through the phone and then ran the RUU and it worked hope this helps someone else.

That is how you are instructed to run the RUU via kgs's guide... So it wasn't working before because or your own oversight of the instructions...

Hello, is it possible to do debranding HTC ONE S [S3]? I looked info in forum but for me is too much information I do not know what to do Using HTCdev Im Unlock bootloader. I tried to install RUU (HRUU_VILLEC2_U_ICS_40_S_HTC_Europe_2.15.401.100_Radio_16.21.20.02U_16.09.20.11_M2_release_286571_signed) but it shows an error 155th Can anyone give me any advice?

I don't know what the error codes are but maybe you have the wrong RUU.

Is the error when you try to relock or when trying to flash ruu? If when trying to flash ruu you need to first relock bootloader and then flash ruu. If it's when you are trying to track make sure you are following the correct steps

Ya use TWRP recovery and flash TrickDroid but make sure you get the right one.

Your s-on and that's an older ruu. Can't downgrade without s-off

If you s-off then super Cid then you can use any Cid ruu. Go to that ruu thread and see there.

RUU_Evita_UL_Vodafone_DE_1.82.162.6_Radio_0.17b.32 .09.25_10.92.32.17L_release_263396_signed.exe
as you are already on 2.33.162.2, you can not downgrade hboot unless s-off.
The leaked
RUU_EVITA_UL_ICS_40_S_Vodafone_DE_2.33.162.2_Radio _0.19as.32.09.20_3_10.107.32.25L_release_276002_signed.exe
appears broken so cant be used.
Pars-Hamrah have (as well as all the other German 3.17 RUU's such as o2 and T-mobile)
RUU_EVITA_UL_JB_45_S_Vodafone_DE_3.17.162.7_Radio_ 1.27a.32.45.15_2_10.135.32.34a_release_313539_signed.exe
But it would cost you $70USD to get the download links for them.
Why do you need the RUU?
And your best bet would be to unlock bootloader, supercid, s-off and then flash whatever Evita RUU you can get your hands on

Okay use that tool to flash a recovery and install a custom rom for the time being.
Is your bootloader still locked?? Unlock and try everything again!

hello i download a custom rom smartdroid daemon but it ask me to update my firmware to 3.33 and install 4ext recovery. Trying to flash the firmware it fail and when i flash the recovery it freeze when atempting to boot into recovery.

I got it from this site at user friendly firmware, because the rom i'm trying to flash required the 3.33 firmware

i first flash it from command prompt it fail and said remote not allowed then i flash it from bootloader when flashing it says fail-ic (image check fail)

have you enabled usb debugging mode from settings?
when you are using command prompt make sure that you are in fastboot mode
have you installed sdk tools(adb/fastboot) and htc drivers on your pc?

yes rzr86 i've enable usb debugging, when using command prompt i'm in fastboot mode and i've installed sdk tools (adb/fastboot) and htc drivers too on my pc.
so i don't get there is something i'm doing wrong or what or because it's china mobile??
the guy that sell it to me says it's htc sensation 4g but in settings it says Z710T

it is the china version of sensation
i don't know what else to suggest
look in the internet for any guide about china sensations or even here in xda
edit: you can do this
chnage your cid to supercid
then flash whatever ruu you want or try the firmware again

pick up an ics one

btw bro is there anyway to upgrade the hboot because mine is 0.82.0000
i try five ruu and it keep telling me fail image check and signature verification fail when it atemp to flash the bootloader
now the things is it's possible to upgrade the hboot??
