Hello, from about one week i cant turn my sensation on. I try to install coredroid rom, but i did not read that my htc heve to be s-off, so i did full wipe(no backup) and i stock on white screen with htc logo. I try to flash the HTC REVOLUTION HD rom, it flash perfect up to the end, but i still cant turn it on!!! Here is what my bootloader is showing:

I have used it myself, it will at least get your phone working again.
Ok, but the problem is that to use revolutionary my phone have to be turn on!!! And as u can read i stock on boot loop, when try to use revolutionary it keeps showing me error
Can you hold volume down and power to get into the bootloader? if you can do that, and then run the RUU file i linked to, that should work and restore your phone. I am in the UK too, the RUU is for a unbranded euro Sensation, so should work fine.
Have u tried flashing a pb58img from a ruu then doin s off ?????

htcdev.com does NOT give you S-OFF, it only unlocks the bootloader. If you read what the OP posted he ALREADY has an unlocked bootloader. See:

This type of misinfornation/typing errors it's what causes noobs to mess their devices up! These mistakes need to be cleared up for noobs sake.

I think that is a windows installshield error, not certain, but have you tried rightclicking on it and click on run as administrator?

i dont know if that change anything, but on google i find same ruu, but twices bigger!!! link for ruu from u is 146mb, and one i finded is over 300mb... do u think that is the problem with ruu turning ??
I am uploading the one I used, you can try it if you cannot get the one you download to work. it will take an hour to upload it though.
It should be 377MB i think your download did not finish. Try it again.
Edit- Try this one instead, I restored my sensation with this last night.

Yup, that's definitely a problem. The 146MB RUU is a bad/incomplete download or a corrupted file. The factory RUU's are 350MB+
How do I unroot my sensation 4g? I have the RUU but its an exe. when i double click it my computer says it cant open it, it goes online to find another software that can open it but it doesnt find anything. Can someone help me please?
Download another, that one is borked.

Also, just add ".exe" (without quotes) to the end of the filename of the file you downloaded to get it working.

I helped someone the other day and the only way he could get the ruu.exe to flash correctly was to s-off first... Didn't make sense to me but it worked

No, should be good then! Try extracting PD58IMG and flash via bootloader... Did you verify md5sum of the ruu.exe as well?

ok what I did was enter fastboot through the phone and then ran the RUU and it worked hope this helps someone else.
ok so this is what my phone says, can someone check and see if this is all i need to do to give it back to tmobile please.

That is how you are instructed to run the RUU via kgs's guide... So it wasn't working before because or your own oversight of the instructions...

Hello, thank you, I tried, with versions from 1.47.401.4 to 2.10.401.8, but not useless, it always tells me error 140, bootloader is not correct.
Being S-ON I can not install the bootloader different.
Any other ideas?

Yes, definitely.
The problem is that the EngBoot probably has been partially charged.
I need to reload the correct hboot to be able to start the RUU.
Or do you think I can take it as it is under warranty HTC?
Before you say anything i just want to state that i have been on my computer for over 4 hours trying to fix this issue but nothing seems to work. I have had my phone for a while now and while im not a complete noob at the tech with it i wouldnt say i have a very strong understanding either. So the phone was given to me by a friend, already rooted and i have had no promblems with it but today i tried to flash cyanogenmod(?) and well alot of things happened.
At first when i finished it just kept resetting so i did a bit of researched and i updated the firmware(without supercid) note that i only know that i was meant to use supercid after my phone went into a boot loop
So anyways long story short i cant use supercid because my phone is in a continous boot loop and it doesnt get recognised as a usb thingo when i plug it in so i cant do those commands i need to do for supercid
so urgent help is needed !!!
reading your post i assume you are S-OFF
what recovery do you have?
try 4ext recovery if you don't have it and reflash the rom

Hi,
Which firmware did you flash?
Supercid is not a necessity.
Use Kohr-Ah's Universal firmware ,and your CID should be incorporated in it.
If not,you can write it into the info.txt
i flashed the 3.3 universal then when everything went bad i tried to flash stock rom 3.33 or something :s

Hi,
OK.
Try to install the 3.32 Universal firmware,and see if that upgrades your radio.
Post back here with what your bootloader says after you tried it.

Glad it worked.
Your radio is now good.
Place a Rom on the root of your sd card,go into recovery,wipe the phone clean.
If you have 4 EXT ,then,format all partitions except sd card.
Install ROM.

Your s-on and that's an older ruu. Can't downgrade without s-off

If you s-off then super Cid then you can use any Cid ruu. Go to that ruu thread and see there.

as you are already on 2.33.162.2, you can not downgrade hboot unless s-off.

appears broken so cant be used.
Pars-Hamrah have (as well as all the other German 3.17 RUU's such as o2 and T-mobile)

But it would cost you $70USD to get the download links for them.
Why do you need the RUU?
And your best bet would be to unlock bootloader, supercid, s-off and then flash whatever Evita RUU you can get your hands on

Okay use that tool to flash a recovery and install a custom rom for the time being.
Is your bootloader still locked?? Unlock and try everything again!
