Hello, from about one week i cant turn my sensation on. I try to install coredroid rom, but i did not read that my htc heve to be s-off, so i did full wipe(no backup) and i stock on white screen with htc logo. I try to flash the HTC REVOLUTION HD rom, it flash perfect up to the end, but i still cant turn it on!!! Here is what my bootloader is showing:

I have used it myself, it will at least get your phone working again.
Ok, but the problem is that to use revolutionary my phone have to be turn on!!! And as u can read i stock on boot loop, when try to use revolutionary it keeps showing me error
Can you hold volume down and power to get into the bootloader? if you can do that, and then run the RUU file i linked to, that should work and restore your phone. I am in the UK too, the RUU is for a unbranded euro Sensation, so should work fine.
Have u tried flashing a pb58img from a ruu then doin s off ?????

htcdev.com does NOT give you S-OFF, it only unlocks the bootloader. If you read what the OP posted he ALREADY has an unlocked bootloader. See:

I think that is a windows installshield error, not certain, but have you tried rightclicking on it and click on run as administrator?

i dont know if that change anything, but on google i find same ruu, but twices bigger!!! link for ruu from u is 146mb, and one i finded is over 300mb... do u think that is the problem with ruu turning ??
I am uploading the one I used, you can try it if you cannot get the one you download to work. it will take an hour to upload it though.
It should be 377MB i think your download did not finish. Try it again.
Edit- Try this one instead, I restored my sensation with this last night.

Yup, that's definitely a problem. The 146MB RUU is a bad/incomplete download or a corrupted file. The factory RUU's are 350MB+

i have the same problem, even serious. My phone can't boot into system i guess i destroy the partition.

Can't be done as the OP is S-ON - they're stuck unless Revolutionary make it compatible

I cant do anything else. I tried factory reset, recovery but it didint work.
Below is what it shows in the hboot. I tried to unlock bootloader but everything was fine the part where we get to choose whether to yes or not to unlock bootloader. i clicked yes but it just stuck there.

sorry haven't checked your PM....and you didnt reply anything in this thread so i figured you were able to solve your problem...
as you are struck on bootloop and cant do anything but just go into bootloader...then we need to find the corresponding ruu and install GB rom...
for that i need your cid ..."fastboot getvar cid"
you can still use fastboot as you can get into bootloader...

im subscribed to this thread now...so ill get an instant mail whenever there is a new post in this thread..don't worry I've solved 3 exact cases so your problem will be solved in no time(it might take couple of hours though ) ....i'm planning to write a guide now

But i checked in my device manager in my computer, it can detect.

Revolutionary won't work for now...in order to use revolutionary you need to have a Rom...that's why im asking you to give CID so that I can find you appropriate ruu which will install gb rom
First have adb/fastboot setup

Connect your phone to computer
After you connect your phone
You should have "fastboot usb"
Showing on your mobile screen
then use fastboot command
First try "fastboot devices"
It should show your device

Dont worry ...if RUU fails ...it wont brick your device...but if it is saying erasing the data ...then it means initial check are successful...and every thing will be taken care by RUU

is your device becoming hot now ?
make sure you have power to your phone...or connect your phone to power outlet/computer via USB...and DON'T EVER take of /switch off the phone when RUU is working...
it will BRICK your device

How do I unroot my sensation 4g? I have the RUU but its an exe. when i double click it my computer says it cant open it, it goes online to find another software that can open it but it doesnt find anything. Can someone help me please?

I helped someone the other day and the only way he could get the ruu.exe to flash correctly was to s-off first... Didn't make sense to me but it worked

No, should be good then! Try extracting PD58IMG and flash via bootloader... Did you verify md5sum of the ruu.exe as well?

That is how you are instructed to run the RUU via kgs's guide... So it wasn't working before because or your own oversight of the instructions...

Before you say anything i just want to state that i have been on my computer for over 4 hours trying to fix this issue but nothing seems to work. I have had my phone for a while now and while im not a complete noob at the tech with it i wouldnt say i have a very strong understanding either. So the phone was given to me by a friend, already rooted and i have had no promblems with it but today i tried to flash cyanogenmod(?) and well alot of things happened.
At first when i finished it just kept resetting so i did a bit of researched and i updated the firmware(without supercid) note that i only know that i was meant to use supercid after my phone went into a boot loop
So anyways long story short i cant use supercid because my phone is in a continous boot loop and it doesnt get recognised as a usb thingo when i plug it in so i cant do those commands i need to do for supercid
so urgent help is needed !!!
reading your post i assume you are S-OFF
what recovery do you have?
try 4ext recovery if you don't have it and reflash the rom

Hi,
Which firmware did you flash?
Supercid is not a necessity.
Use Kohr-Ah's Universal firmware ,and your CID should be incorporated in it.
If not,you can write it into the info.txt
i flashed the 3.3 universal then when everything went bad i tried to flash stock rom 3.33 or something :s

Try to install the 3.32 Universal firmware,and see if that upgrades your radio.
Post back here with what your bootloader says after you tried it.

Hi,
Glad it worked.
Your radio is now good.
Place a Rom on the root of your sd card,go into recovery,wipe the phone clean.
If you have 4 EXT ,then,format all partitions except sd card.
Install ROM.

i try to s-on again so i flash a zip i lost the zip i dont know how expain ok
so
step 1 phone was rooted with s-off but wifi dint work
step 2 i try fixing anyway
till i got here and now s-on and now i am stock on a bootloader saying ANDROID i put on google htc inspire 4g s-on pd98img.zip i randomly found it and now i am this issue idk if this softbrick or phone completely damage ?
i can acces hboot but wont let me flash pd98img

im not trying to make spam here, but i have a very similar (if not the same) problem, i have an htc inspire 4g s-on rooted on foryo with unlocked bootloader, i installed cwm, i tried to install an unoficila Cyanogen mod 10..1 rom, after this it got stuck on the splash screen, i tryin to flash the pd98img.zip file fom hboot but it throws back a bunch of errors as if the file was corrupted, i took the file form herehttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1610483? if anyone would be so kind as to help i will be very greatful, sorry for bad english

thanks for your help, unfortunately this didnt hace any effect either, the solution i found was to turn S-OFF via LGTool, i guess this kind of solution isnt avalible for anyone, but if anybody has a problem like mine, this definetly works
Been going thru the forums for a while. Nice work guys. I do have one question pls. Do I need to unlock my bootloader before I can flash a PD98IMG.zip file. My phone is already s-off.
