[Q] A cheap MP3 player with OTG support? - General Questions and Answers

As my iPod classic's dead and my music collection's around 200GB - are there any cheap Android MP3 players that support OTG so I can just attach an external drive? (Portability's not an issue)

[Q] Media readable by xbox 360

So far, i have been using iMediashare off the android marketplace to play my music across wifi to my xbox 360. But its very unstable. Sometimes 3 songs play then some fail somewhere, others it plays like a champ. Is there a way to just plug this damn thing into the usb port on the 360 to play it that way? i have tried both media player and mass storage options when connection but its a no go. perhaps one of you out there has a great solution available. sans usb stick. i suppose i could burn a mp3 cd with a crap load of songs and then rip them to the harddrive but good lord, with the amount of music i have, itd take all day lol.

How connecting 2TB HD media player to Galaxy Tab 2

Help!
I have Media Player 2TB (Lacie Lacinema HD) & external 500GB HD (Lacie)
Compatibility problem with Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.
- My media players is not recognised by the Tab although it sees an external device is connected. No folder browsing or file openings are possibie.
Nor directly, nor via a app as VLC or MX Player.
- If the media player is connected in the home network & tab too, all is working properly.
But I need a direct solution for holidays were I take only my tab & 2TB media player.
Any suggestions?
Thank you
Bart
I think it requires it to be FAT32? Not sure.

[Q] Music player cannot locate mp3 files

If I connect (using a USB cable) my LG Nexus 5 to my pioneer car CD player I can play all my mp3, they are seen through the USB/MTP connection.
But if I try to play the mp3 files in Music folder using any music player app (i.e. LG Music Flow Bluetooth)
then I am been told: no media !!!
How could I make my music visible to player?
Thanks.

[Q] OTG USB and Music Player

Hello, just received my Meegan OTG USB Micro adapter, moved my Music to the msdcard, but now, when I launched the music Player Pro app, there is no music file except the one that is in the internal storage Samsung folder. Tried to force in the music player app settings to search in the external sd but no luck. If I go thru Astro File Explorer, I can see the external sd and all the music, but the Player Pro app only open the song that I selected and not continues playing the other songs.
Any recommendation?
(EDIT) Tried with VLC player and now I am able to play more than one song...
PowerAmp work good with otg
Neutron also works once you point it to the file location on the OTG.
Neutron is audiophile quality listening...
