wow sorry about that... and believe it or not I'm not a noob!
Bump!
Well I had a UK T-Mobile phone that I used to take with me to the US and it automatticly worked on US T-Mobile...so I guess it would?
Decided to go with an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Of course this is Pentaband so I figured it was the safest bet. Works like a dream. For those in Canada, I bought this from Telus and used it on Wind. I'm now in the UK using it at 3G+ speeds on O2. Also just happens to be the best phone that I've ever used!

Pentaband high end phone that has 3G in USA with Tmobile and 3G 900Mhz in Italy

Dear all,
I d like to buy a phone that has 3G in USA with Tmobile (on the 1700 Mhz freq) and 3G 900Mhz in Italy. I am italian now in USA for a 1 year job and I bought a phone that only has 1900/2100 so I have trouble with the 3G on Tmobile, it only gets the signal sometimes in some refarmed areas, overall it sucks here in PA. What is the best pentaband phone you would suggest? I was looking for Nexus IV, but it does not have the the sdcard. What about the Samsung SIII? I did a search online but it looks that the tmobile version misses the 900 frequency and the international version misses the 1700, so there is not such a pentaband Samsung SIII? Any pentaband alternative to the Nexus III that has the SDcard?
thanks
A.
go for the nexus 4, you will not miss the external sdcard,

[Completed] ZUKZ1 in Canada (4G)

So i am considering buying this phone, but I have only 1 concern about lte on this website: http://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_230088.html it says that 4f bands are only:FDD-LTE 1800/2100/2600MHz, so will it work in Canada?? I checked http://maps.mobileworldlive.com/ and It only compatable with 2100, no 1700 is it fine if I only have 1?

[Completed] Increasing the supported bands or frequency on Chinese phones?

Hey all,
So I recently have been looking into Chinese phones and have realized that there are some great competitively priced phones on the market, in particular I am interested in the Lenovo Lemon k3. However I have T-mobile, which support Bands 2, 4 and 12 for 4G LTE, most Chinese phones however do not support those bands. I was wondering if its possible to root and then mod any of these phones to support all Bands, I dont want to buy one and be stuck using 2G coverage.
Thanks,
