wow sorry about that... and believe it or not I'm not a noob!
Bump!
Well I had a UK T-Mobile phone that I used to take with me to the US and it automatticly worked on US T-Mobile...so I guess it would?
Decided to go with an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Of course this is Pentaband so I figured it was the safest bet. Works like a dream. For those in Canada, I bought this from Telus and used it on Wind. I'm now in the UK using it at 3G+ speeds on O2. Also just happens to be the best phone that I've ever used!

[MetroPCS] Where does it belong?

You guys split SGS3 forums into AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile, but leave out all other carriers. So where exactly does MetroPCS belong??
T-Mobile bought and owns MetroPCS. However, T-Mobile uses GSM while MetroPCS uses CDMA. Their SGS3 variants are not compatible.
When MetroPCS users root or flash their SGS3 phones, they usually use the files/packages for Verizon.
Specs-wise, Sprint's SGS3 variant and CDMA are closest to MetroPCS. But for some reason I've never seen anyone uses a package for Sprint on MetroPCS phones.
So should I post in the T-Mobile, Verizon or Sprint forums if I have a question about rooting??

Help! Want to know if my OPO has the lte 2 band

Hello guys I'm sorry if this is a noob question but I'm worried about it.
This is the story I'm not a noob in the Android world actually but I had this problem
I've got a unlimited data plan on my company here in Ecuador (movistar).
Movistar is starting to provide lte (yeah I know we're so behind the first world) BUT they said that it will come through the LTE 2 BAND wich is 1900 mhz and I was looking and my OPO doesn't have it.
I was reading that there is a procedure to unlock the unavailable bands but I doesn't know if this actually could work.
Please guys can you tell me if this procedure works or if the phone actually has this particular lte 2 band.
Thanks in advance for your responses, and forgive me if this post bother you.
Also sorry for my bad English.
